FYI, pretty sure the link you use for gender ratios is a badly sourced AI slop site with many of the stats made up. I know because I tried looking up dating app statistics some time ago, but it seems that most the stuff online is garbage data. Also pretty sure Tinder USA is not the worst region and that second and third world places like India are worse. Though yes, seems like 65-35 or so is the most common stat for the USA. For reference, The Economist claims 84% of dating app users are men https://archive.is/Ybu88 , and your pew research links shows 11% of US women currently using dating apps compared to 20% of men.

Still, gender ratios of 60-40 or 66-33 are already hugely impactful. The former means that if everyone pairs up monogamously, the bottom 33% of men get left out. The later means the bottom 50% of men being left out.

Your choice to publicly wave your entitlement flag is bold.

But you're also acting like this is some kind of evil and nefarious plot that you've uncovered when the entire premise of an app like Bumble was that women were put in control of how the conversation started and would always have the power to end it. You're correct that in the real world men can keep talking and that's called harassment. Men not taking "No thank you" as a sufficient answer is why many women don't like getting approached in public.

We would like to have autonomy over our own bodies - including our energy and attention. That doesn't make us dictators.

The fact that women are no longer forced to talk to people they don't want to engage with is not a conspiracy or a tragedy.
