I think there is something wrong with passport bros who demean women from his home country as shallow bitches, meanwhile he is going overseas to find other shallow women lol. The only difference is that he can actually afford the shallow women from the Philippines or Thailand.

But if you are talking about just not experiencing success, there’s nothing wrong with moving to a place where you’ll have more success. People do that on smaller scales too, like across the U.S. As the saying goes, a Midwest 9 is an LA 6.

I feel like if a guy is treated like a loser by all the women with the same culture/upbringing as him, then I'm sorry but he probably is a loser. The love/respect of a foreign partner seems like something transient. The clock is ticking until she too has enough information and cultural context to recognize him as a loser too.

And you can see it clearly in how some passport bros act. One of their biggest goals is to minimize how much "cultural context" their partner can accumulate about them.

It seems like a miserable and pathetic way to live. And kind of a pointless hedge between dating a girl from your own culture/community who's in your league, and shopping your city's escorts.

The problem is it’s rare to find a woman who likes a passport bro for anything besides his money and a green card. Most women know that men who leave their own country in search of romance are losers who can’t get women in their own country and to make matters worse they are usually commitment phobic. However if a man made the effort to learn that country’s language and is moving to that country permanently to live and work he is a better option than local men as long as he is willing to get married in the eyes of the state.

The problem is also that he doesn't actually love her. He just uses her because he expects women frompoor countries to be more obedienet and easy to use.

There is notthing wrong if you travel and you happen to fall in love. But if you specifically target contries for dating it's automatically wrong. They don't even see women as people. They just calculate in what countra they can easily manipulate and use women. And they also don't realize those women are just using them for money.

It’s not inconceivable someone would share values anywhere. It’s making a determination on the best odds and use of your time.

By far the easiest thing would be marry someone with a similar background, religion, values right where you live.

Men aren’t going to invest all the time or money along with additional risks lightly If they saw viable alternatives here. Should they continue to throw more time or try a different approach? Or should they accept being alone?

The average man swipes on 200 dating profiles to get a handful of matches. And maybe 1 date if he’s lucky and women often ghost or cancel if they get a better option. That’s brutal and disheartening week after week.

How on earth would he vet more with that little amount of matches? You think those women with multiple men chasing them will take time to let him vet them ?

I agree there are probably great women and matches near him but it’s meaningless if no women even engage him.

None of us know exactly all the motivations driving someone else to choose us. Having financial stability is probably a requisite for a woman to start with a guy but not nesrly enough on its own. She’s got likely several suitors who pass that bar and she’s choosing him for a reason.

There's really 3 kinds of passport bros: the sex tourists, the old men using money to date single moms, and the ones seeking more typical relationships. I'd say judging the last one is just racism or sexism. The first one, depends on the country, but sex tourism in the Philippines and Thailand at least has led to a lot of human trafficking and is frequently exploitative. Why not just go to Vegas instead? Middle one is more mixed. The people blindly criticizing it clearly don't care about the single moms or their kids and just like to grandstand. She went that direction because the alternative is a lot worse, so it's not as black and white as people make it out to be. Those same people strangely arent as bothered when hot celebs do the same thing.

It is inevitably going to be socially shamed, as people are certainly going to ask "what is wrong with the women in your own country that you had to go overseas to some poorer country?". Of course, it is not ethically wrong if the man treats the woman well (or vice versa in the rare cases when a woman does it), but I think that socially the zeitgeist is today that when men and women meet and become romantic it should be as equals, including as financial equals.
