Why not have a body cam and record everything? Get a bunch of recordings and go to court. Might be able to have a change of custody? Maybe you could even get him charged with harassment (by police, not the court)?

Do not touch him. I know it's tempting but he wins the second you do because court, custody, etc., flips against you.

Move all dropoffs to a neutral public location starting now. Parking lot of a grocery store, movie theatre, whatever. Take the power back that way.

Use big words when talking to him that he doesn’t understand in a calm matter. That usually pisses off the jackass even more. Also make the Ex meet you at a common location to talk about kids or email her so everything is in writing and also for pick up and drop off.

Don't hit him. He wants that. This might sound paranoid but it could be a plan to make you lose custody. Try to get you to lose your temper and then take it to court and boom you lost your kids. Just respect the boundary if she is dating a POS like this don't worry he will eventually do something that will give you some leverage to possibly take your kids away from her.

In my opinion you’re over-invested emotionally in this guy. Gray-rock only works if you don’t care. You clearly do. You need to look inside at why you’re bothered by what is essentially some free childcare.

When I finally emotionally detached from my ex she had gone and laid up with four dudes from my workplace. When word got around and people came with the gossip they were surprised that I could talk about it casually. I was just happy to be free, who she threw her legs back for was finally not my problem.

Her rebound and now baby daddy was beating her ass and she actually called me to come handle it. Something she tried to put me in jail for before our divorce. I told her to call the cops like she did on me and hung up the phone.

My point is that you’re still tangled inside somewhere because after 2 years you should be taking the time away from your son as just another scheduled event at this point. Exchanges should be a mild inconvenience.

The violence you’re contemplating is the one thing that actually threatens your legal right to see your son. The costs from that case is money away from him. The time you’re in jail is more time he spends with a tool. And your ex revels in how she still has an emotional effect on you.

The most you can afford is a verbal altercation where you express that you’re not going to accept harassment every time you exercise your right to custody of your son. Record everything and use it as proof that you need to change the exchange point to somewhere on public property.

I haven’t had any interaction whatsoever so far with me ex wife’s boyfriend (the AP) but I’m sure it’s coming and I am sure it won’t be good. It’ll be reeeeeal hard to refrain. Do your best to refrain. Hope I can take my own advice when that time comes

I'm assuming there are children involved between you and the Ex, otherwise there would be no reason for you to be in contact with her or her new BF.

Crack him in the face to shut him down will see you get an aggravated battery charge which could be a Felony and either way would likely result in the loss of any custodial parent rights.
