Patriarchy theory: ​we live in a patriarchy and men are the privileged/oppressor class.

I've heard from two different youtubers who are both college-educated therapists that it is a common-ish problem that men feel alienated by this sort of lingo/framework being used in personal therapy, and they argued this stuff is ought to be left out from such contexts.​

According to google, women make up 70-75% of therapists, and ​that i​s a subject that I would imagine is quite adjacent to feminism/women's studies/social science college stuff, so that's why.
