A fun article in which a few stay at home moms complain about their husband's expectations that they do all the housework

And the failing Washington Post thinks household duties should be shared even when the mom stays at home

Though I don’t draft documents or draw up PowerPoint decks, my management of first an infant’s and then a toddler’s supply needs, entertainment, energy level, and interaction with other children is as intellectually demanding as I imagine consulting, military strategizing, or advertising to be.

Right, but most mothers do this and do it WHILE BRINGING IN SOME GODDAMN MONEY!

Look she is a stay at home mom. She brings in ZERO DOLLARS. Every bite of food she eats, every sangria she quells the pain of homemaking with, every piece of clothing that is on her back, is attributable to the man working. She gets to spend much more time with the child (which is I'm sure a benefit to at least a few women given muh nurturing).

Frankly, I don't see why a man would agree to both solely support THEIR ENTIRE LIFESTYLE and then help with chores and cooking too. Like basically if she can earn more money than childcare costs the math is solid put her ass to work.

But I'm curious to see what the other side of the coin is!
