I particularly was struck by the part how women / people can obviously tell when men are porn addicted and see women as objects. The tell tale signs like staring obsessively, not being able to make eye contact. Unsocialized, porn addicted males have a tell and once you see it, you can’t un-see it.

The roast a scrote date is classic red pill tactics, such as the cold approach - approaching her on the street where she feels societal pressure to talk to him and take his number. Giving her his number after forgetting his phone so she has to chase him. The fake romantic date reeling her in by telling her to meet him outside a fancy hotel. The instead of going on a picnic with a view of the city, he makes them get 'takeout' for the picnic with 'seperate checks'. And then the escalation taking her back to his apartment, and trying to get her to drink. Thank god she left after that date.

In regards to women knowing men watch porn, I’ve also noticed a bigger trend of men proudly proclaiming this information. My own brother told me around Christmas he missed the Pornhub sale, the premium was like $15 for 3 years or some low price, and I just couldn’t believe he was telling me this. He was so unphased and I was honestly surprised and felt a visceral sense of yuck.

We know men watch porn, we don’t want to hear about it, especially from family. WTF.

I'm new to the subreddit, but listened to all the podcasts in a few days to get caught up. At some point there was a short discussion over "useful" hobbies men can have (making video games, building shit, fixing cars or whatever) and got sick feeling to my stomach thinking of my NVM ex who did allllll that shit, posturing himself as a HVM when he was incredibly emotionally abusive to me throughout our 4 year relationship. Ladies: He has to be able to fix your car AND be emotionally present. A lot of men peace out emotionally, and use their masculine hobbies as their excuse to be absent in literally every other aspect of the relationship.

With this weeks episode the line that really resonated with me was:
"Being your Porn type is NOT a compliment" - with that line came a wave of memories of how my SO had compared me to his favorite genre, leading into his favorite kink to eventually constantly badgering me for (a*nal) sex to fulfill his desires.

Us women continue to succeed and level up the more we separate from men and focus on ourselves. We don’t need men anymore and will certainly live much longer without getting involved with them unnecessarily. The fact that we can live without them and prefer be single than settle for a LVM is hugely beneficial to us.

Men, on the other hand are worse off when they can’t rely on women’s unpaid labour (primarily in the form of a live-in bangmaid). Their life-span decreases by a decade or so and they continue to regress further.

Currently listening to the podcast, and I'm having an extremely pornsick flashback. A ground level scrote (mid 50's, recovering drug addict who subsequently relapsed) who temporarily rented out the seperate duplex level of my family's house, ordered porn centering on young Russian women and that wasn't even the main reason he got kicked out. I did love how the differences between libfem and radfem are explained. When you say you’re feminist, misogynists will assume you are libfem, because that is the feminism that benefits them, and they will jump to ThOuGhT yOu SaId YoU wAnTeD eQuAliTy.

But I never wanted to be treated identically to men. Identical treatment will affect us differently due to our biological differences. What I’ve always wanted to see is women’s interests as well represented as those of men’s, reflected in our cultural attitudes and norms.

When a union bargains, they’re not seeking treatment identical to management’s, because, you know, there are inherent power differences (and therefore, priorities) between management and non-management staff. What the union wants is their interests as well represented.

It’s laughable how groups like left wing male advocates, who as anti-capitalists are generally pro-union, pretend to fail to understand this simple concept, as it applies to male/female power dynamics.

Also, hearing these ideas via podcast is not the same as reading them on this Reddit, though reading them is also powerful and necessary. Hearing the voice of incredibly strong and beautiful women resonating through my earbuds... bringing to light ideas I’ve held for so long but was too afraid to talk about... it’s beyond empowering.

I discovered this FDS yesterday and it has been life changing. I am no longer EVER going to see dating the same way and indeed I will not continue dating this one man who I thought a perfect gentlemen but who has turned out to be a controlling dick-hanging person.

Just wow I am so blown away and so so so grateful for this!!! I have been reticent to even call myself a feminist until now!!! Thank you from the bottom of my heart and soul!

I look forward to being an active member of this place, I already feel it’s my refuge, and also to supporting other women!!!

Lastly, I’ve known for such a long time that women are fundamentally superior to men, our values and ethics are incomparable, and to hear you ladies openly say that without condolences is so damn empowering. That’s not to say there aren’t plenty of good men out there!

Great episode. I think Savannah (?) mentioned doing a show on dating as a woman of color and I'd love to hear a podcast on that.

Also, I really enjoy reading comments from bi/ lesbian women and their dating experience. It really puts things into perspective for me (hetero). I know FDS is geared more towards cisgender/ hetero relationships, but I'd love to hear more from that community.

In regards to the soccer-players-as-pu**ies part: I just want to say that as a life-long player and watcher of the sport, flopping is ubiquitous only in the men's game. Women who play rarely, if ever, flop. If they end up on the ground it's because they were legitimately fouled or tripped 9 times out of 10. And sometimes even if that happens, they pop right back up anyway. I'm sure this information isn't surprising at all to regular readers of FDS!

Just wanted to say I tried to listen to the episode "The Birth of the Manosphere" from the "Behind the Bastards" podcast that was recommended in this episode but I struggled through 20 minutes before just turning it off because the male host is so arrogant and insufferable and constantly talked over his female co-host and at times even ignored her input completely. It was painful and I have no idea how anyone got through the whole thing. That guy is an idiot. I wish it was a female-led podcast because the topic was really interesting.
