Hey everyone! :D

So I've been lurking on this subreddit on/off for years now. Most of the posts I read here usually leave me very confused and sometimes even frustrated. I'm sure a lot of other people also feel the same. So why don't we list a few things we learned here that helped us out IRL? I'll go first:

1) I need to set up my expectations about a relationship before I even step into the dating game and I should call it off if any of the expectations aren't being met. This helped me get out of an abusive relationship with a depressed suicidal girl a couple years ago. (Honestly, not knowing this already is totally on me).

2) I thought that media usually promoted that the kind, nice and sweet guy would always get the really cute girl. Going through this post https://www.reddit.com/r/PurplePillDebate/comments/o5y2d1/did_men_who_felt_lied_to_by_the_media_miss_the/ made me realize that's just media that was cratered towards guys. I had watched media catered towards women and basically zoned out regarding sexual/romantic interests. This completely flipped the switch in me and now I don't really feel like guys are being lied to which is a relief.

3) Some guys truly have trouble even being noticed by most women and giving them advice like just be natural and let things happen to you is seriously bad advice. This made me approach "game" talk with my friends in a more inclusive way.
