Bouncer friend of mine, ages ago, used to be big on weightlifting. The city I used to live in is full of modeling agencies and models get drunk quick cause they have no mass.

So these two models drunk as hell, start beating eachother up in front of the entrance from the parking lot.

He lets them go at it for a second, one gets floored, the other one goes to try and heel stomp her in the face with high heels on, he goes "nope".

Picks her up and does a literal drunk toss, except he doesn't factor in that she's like 40 kg wet; she files across the parking lot and smacks on one of the parked cars.

let's say he dodged charges by a hair cause the lawyer characterized the heel stomp as malicious intent.

Was a bouncer in Canada. Very strict rules in place concerning women, but it was an off-the-books job so I'm not sure if that was just to keep things simple.

We had a female waitress who was a tough broad and she was usually the one to deal with women, and it always blew my mind the difference in which she could deal with people and what I could get away with.

We had to forcibly remove some people who were too drunk, sure. But that was never a huge problem. After all, once you're getting kicked out, you're way too drunk to be a huge challenge.

The problem was clearing the bar out at the end of the night. Men usually got the hint. "You don't have to go home but you can't stay here." After all, the staff was tired and the longer it takes them to get out, the longer it takes for us to go home, and we didn't get paid OT so it was in our best interests to make sure everyone was out by 30 minutes past last call.

I got guff from everyone, but the men usually didn't argue too much with that argument. 99% of people, men and women, totally got it.

But that 1% that didn't usually caused such a scene it was ridiculous. I remember one woman, after we finally got her out, kept trying to get back in, wrenching on the door, kicking it, and finally breaking a window. When the cops showed up, she tried to say that we had assaulted her. (Actually what had happened was the other bouncer went to "talk" to her outside, then the second she was out the door, he shut and locked it instead of following through.)

I never actually had any of those, might have been the small town thing. Most people were tradesmen, fishermen, etc. Most had the academic understanding of a potato patch. Some of them were too thick to handle anything more complicated than "on" or "off."

Those guys were but simple folk, they had some great stories about wild adventures, but generally wished everyone a good night at last call.

It was the prissy 19-and-20 year olds that caused the most headache. The ones that felt entitled to continue drinking, trying to be cute and friendly in hopes they could get another drink. Once they realized that being cute didn't mean the rules wouldn't apply to them, it was really easy to spot the problem patrons.

Our head bartender was a boss bitch herself. Former cheerleader-type in high school that never made it out of the town and was somewhat resentful of the world for it, so she took it out on people who tried to skirt the rules. Watching her dress down one of these 20 year old entitled princesses was like appreciating fine art.

We also had a guy get killed a year or two prior to me starting there from a sucker-punch, so we beefed up security and had a zero-tolerance policy for the rules we set in place.

Also I did once get a kid who said his dad was a lawyer and "owned the whole block" the bar was on. He snuck into the broom closet with a girl and I busted them both. The girl was compliant when I kicked them both out, she was more worried about being seen as a slut though and asked if I could do it privately, which was fine by me. But the dude she was hooking up with made such a scene that it ensured he wasn't gonna be getting any whatsoever from that girl. I remember him threatening my job and acting smug about it, but I'd already gotten the sense it was more a show of intimidation, because he just got angry and loud the more I laughed at him. Then he threatened to "knock me out" and Gary (big bald biker dude, also a bouncer) put the fear of God in him. He left without another word.

Weirdest thing is, you deal with some crazy shit as a bouncer, but that's what made the job so much fun. I miss it.

I spent the majority of my 20's working in face-to-face customer service.

Men would get angry, call you names, then leave once they realized the attitude wasn't going to get them anywhere.

But women, whew. They would not leave it alone. One woman literally planted herself at the front of the till line-up and would refuse to let anyone else access the till until she got her way... until another woman stepped in and... encouraged her to leave. Another woman demanded that I break provincial laws in order to save her 30 seconds of time because she was "in a hurry" and then promptly reminded me that I was a "minimum wage nobody" when I refused, then acted the victim when I told her her business wasn't welcome there. Another tried to report me for a "human rights violation" because our bathroom was out of order. Another stole another customer's laundry from the adjacent laundromat and played the victim when she was caught. Another took a slushie that she wanted for free and threw it in our faces when we said no.

Another once shoplifted, blatantly, right in front of me (even announced she was going to do it and told me there wasn't a damn thing I could do about it.) Little did she realize I knew her father and let him know about the situation, to which she attempted to escalate by getting two girls that are known for being the "Boss Bitches" of the town we lived in-- apparently also remaining unaware that they were both friends of mine, and the second they found out what she did they both forced her to apologise to me on her knees. (That was some justice, lemme tell you.)

Thinking back, sure I had some rough experiences with dudes working customer service, but they never pushed it too far. A couple of them got into fist fights with each other in the store. But mostly they usually just got frustrated and left. The worst I think was a dude who was pissed off our gas pumps weren't working properly so he dropped it on the ground and drove over it on his way out.

Obviously something happened before this video went up. If the title is true, she threw hot water on someone. People don't cease to be dangerous when they are unarmed, even women. Show people obvious evidence that the action was raced based and the near entirety of America will agree that they should go to jail.
The problem is that almost none of the so called "racist discrimination" can be back with actual facts and evidence. People are claiming race prejudice where it doesn't exist and the rest of America can see that without much effort.
To fix issues with race, stop blaming groups and institutions like the cops for being racist. Yes, there are some racist cops out there, but they are independent individuals who clearly don't represent all police. Most of the videos and news we see about this aren't even actual racism; It's a cop doing their job and people don't even think about wether or not the black guy did something.
Race is not a major issue in America. Actually, less than 7 years ago, a very small number of people were even concerned about it. A study showed that around 12% (not for sure on my memory of the statistic) of America was concerned. After BLM, that percentage is now over 50%. This is not because actual racism is happening on a national level. It's because BLM is forcing people to be overly conscious of race, which is the exact opposite of solving this issue.
The best way to solve a problem is to address the issue at its core. This is true with medical issues and psychiatric issues and with all other types of problems, so why not political problems? The most basic cause of racism is caring about race in the first place. To end this, we need to show that race has no meaning besides skin color. We need to show that race shouldn't matter at all.

I'm a libertarian. I think people should be seen as people and be held to the exact same standards regardless of any details about them.

If they put up either, I'd be inclined to agree with you, but for now I'm happy to say that any individual who treats a service worker that poorly needs to learn that's not okay.

How poorly? The first frames are her falling to the ground. How do you know what she did? DouglasQualudes stated what she did? I dug for 5+ minutes and did not find either the video on liveleak, or previous events.

Although I do wonder whether the use of a taser was necessary here. I wish we had just a bit more footage of context.

That's what I was pointing out. Standards are lowered here very much. It is like posting BLM Texas shooting, and claiming cops were harassing and threatening the lives of black folks for no reason. Allow me to rephrase that to better illustrate my point:

Any individual who does what the OP claims needs to learn a lesson.

Whether or not this particular individual has done so is irrelevant to me because they are anonymous and thus represent the idea, not themselves. As I said, if their name or face was revealed, I'd be with you.

Your original comment was more focused on the accusation, not on the tazing itself. In that regard, I'd say we don't have enough to say whether the tazing was warranted. But the thing is we're not talking about the rights of an individual, or the abuse of power of a cop. If we were, again, I'd be with you. The point of this post (and this sub) is that "pussy passes" deserve to be denied, and the redditors here are just reveling in that idea.

Yeah, that's the original point of this sub. But in the recent years, it does not appear so. In this very post, people see a video with their own actual eyes. And talk about what might have happened prior to the start of the video. Some folks come around, and say as a clerk they've never been harassed by men, but always by mothers.

Others like a human being twitching her legs, despite having no clue whether or not it was legal and necessary to tase her.

Again other person says, she's a "psycho". Judging by the way she shakes and tries to get up as she is tasered, and by their prejudice.

Another saying »If she tried to tell the policeman "YOU can't taze me because I'm a woman"«, then it would be PPD. Else it is simply "a criminal getting arrested". What makes her criminal in the video? The exact same thing which makes you a patriarchal oppressor, because you were born as male.

One is joking about BLM, for her being black. Not know whether or not there is evidence she broke the law. But she must have, because police is arresting her. Uhm, did you know that after the election Venezuelan police arrested the opposition's candidate? He must have been guilty if cops arrested him. I have no clue whether or not he's alive at all.

One says it's instant karma. So might be dog attacks. I mean, it takes only a caring biased owner to claim you must have done something to provoke the dog's aggression.

And people pointing out that judging by the video (which in this case is our ONLY evidence), it was excessive force are donwoted. People saying women doing any shit is not necessarily PPD are being downvoted.

And people have no problem with the exact same behavior in society, which influences judges, law enforcement to put innocent people behind bars to serve the public.

Bread and circuses

Like your or my opinion has no effect on anybody. Like judges aren't attacked for too lenient sentences of folks like Steven Avery, and alike. Like the slightest chance of innocence does not matter, because it is about a person other than the bystander judge.

Get away with exactly WHAT? Suppose you're Tyler Kost. Your footage of being detained by the cops is released in the press with the title 'Serial rapist caught'. And people consider three fucking written words facts.

And nobody seems to care. Yeah, maybe she was throwing boiling hot water in some clerk's face. Maybe she was being verbally rude to the cashier. One deserves tasing, the other don't. But somehow, some folks are like radfems. They have a special kind of glass, which makes the see what they want. And they never really think, investigate or doubt anything from a 'reliable source'.

I'm not triggered. I was totally calm during this conversation. What I don't like is society playing pendulum. E.G. feminism starting with legit goals to women being viewed as human beings (before you claim me being a feminist, look at my first post, /r/feminism was the first sub I was banned from), then having this associative error: equality = good ** -> ** good = equality.

I'm happy that HRC lost the election. Because I think she's an entitled cunt, who would've been demolished human rights. Starting with male rights, and maybe continuing with female rights. But what going on this sub many times is pure prejudice and Schadenfreude. It is not a requirement anymore for the woman to have a misconception of being handled like a special snowflake. It is enough if she does shit. You know both men and women do crazy shit. Happens, but there are consequences. The very purpose of this sub was to make people aware, that equality means equal responsibilities. Be it a service to your country, or responsibility for one's actions. That is no longer the case all the time. People coming here in the past, could see (if they were able to be objective about the sex whose life and safety is more valued by society) that some women sometimes tend to have this concept that they're superior. Seeing more and more examples to this phenomenon, they saw a pattern. A pattern to be corrected and to be fought.

Now, many times it's the other way around. People come here with a pattern in mind, and apply it to the events. Like in this post. There is no evidence she threw hot water in the clerk's face. But because it is the sub /r/pussypassdenied, and she's a woman, people apply the pattern and say "Well she must have done it to provoke the cop tasing her!".

You know at first it was sad to me to see fewer posts here. Then came fewer genuine posts. Then I realized, people either care less about women claiming the V card, or there was a change. Of course, there will always be women claiming the V card. The fact that we have to acknowledge it, does not mean that we have to accept it and we don't have to criticize its existence. But like applying the "listen and believe" directive is not the solution, so isn't the default assumption of guilt of women posted in this sub either. Because if one criticizes men being assumed guilty by the society without sufficient evidence purely based on claims, but has no problem with women being assumed guilty in this sub; then you are discriminating. And like for some feminists it is not a valid reason that "women were oppressed for centuries" (I mean are there 500 years old women out there, or were they really oppressed as much as they claim), it isn't a valid reason either, that "women are getting away with this shit for too long".

As Wendy McElroy said "Common decency is a debt, that you owe to every other human being! Whether they are male or female. Whether they are black or white. Whether they are gay or otherwise.".
