Forget Wednesday, he should have made proper plans atleast a couple days in advance. Unless a clear plan is made why should he assume you're going to keep your calendar free. It's highly disrespectful of your time. If he asked you out, it's his job to plan the date. Lack of accountability is a major repellent. I had a similar thing happen with a guy and when I told him I wasn't interested in seeing him he went "glad you found someone else", as if my decision and his actions were completely unrelated.

Going off on a tangent about exposure to something else: Honestly, expose them to yourself and leave quietly. If you go down that rabbit hole of trying to find answers to crap that doesn’t add up or you just try to get down to the bottom of it—— it’s dangerous. I kinda regret getting proof and going as hard as I did. But meh, what’s done is done. The first five minutes was enough of a trial for me. Just walk away and don’t bother trying to see wtf happened and who all was involved. But for what happened to you, girl take your fine ass somewhere nice and enjoy your day. If you truly want to adopt an 'I don't give a fuck' attitude, it comes with being less reactive to what happens in your external environment. Not caring means to remain unaffected or stoic, not flinging your arms in the air, pushing or shoving everything out of your way and saying out loud that 'You don't care'- this is what social media and OLD portrays what not caring means on top of trying to portray or maintain a certain image.

If you do react, there is a high likelihood that you have unresolved issues or trauma within you that is causing you to react strongly. The only time to ever respond with action is in a fight or flight situation.

There will be creeps and creepers everywhere. The first step is to have a strong fortitude of mind. Having a strong mentality and being reserved does not equate to being a cold unfriendly bitch, nor does it mean you're mean or boring.

I remember years ago I asked out a friend of a friend and he turned me down with a loud yawn saying he was tired from work. I was disappointed and kind of shocked because I'd never been confident enough to ask someone out before and I figured 'Oh well, I guess he's not interested in me.' It's certainly an ego-check to have someone you're interested in respond to you with an actual, audible yawn.

About a month later, the mutual friend told me this guy was annoyed with me for never calling back to ask him out again!

Well that explains why my self proclaimed Alpha male friend asked me out for coffee & didn't follow up with plans. I let it go, didn't even question him about it. Months later, he asked again, I said no (thanks FDS), he eventually started to lose interest in our friendship. I blocked & deleted before his next lame attempt. During our conversations, I'd ask as many questions as I could to get an idea of the scrote logic he was spewing,. He was offended one of his female acquaintances thought he was gay, he asked for my opinion, I said "You never know." His own mother even said she thought he was gay, so now he brags about all the women he's slept with. Proud of being community dick. Yuck!
He said his ex wife wants him back, even though they got divorced cause she's crazy & bipolar. Well that sounds familiar. The more he went on about how much she wants him back, the more off the story seemed. I'm thinking he was just looking for my reaction. But why if our friendship was just platonic?
