The irony when the first part is literally WHAT MOST WOMEN THINK...until theyre enlightened of course, but this is literally how women are conditioned to think. The moment any man mistreats them they think it's their fault, or if they realize maybe there's something wrong with the guy AND NOT THEM, they think "what can I do to fix him? maybe if I do this, this, and that, he'll love me." The obliviousness is astounding. Imagine all the women OP has had do this exact emotional labor for him and he's still complaining because it aint ever enough. Not worth it. If he has issues theyre his issues. Most of us who have a penchant for going for these 'broken' men and wanting to 'fix them' are projecting, in the sense that we need to ask why we're giving ourselves to people who dont give back to us, who take from us, and that we need to be working on and fixing ourselves rather than projecting what we need from ourselves onto others! Sadly, women are the fools in these scenarios.
