Male lurkers here on Reddit try to slide into my private messages so they can argue with me/try to insult me. Guess what, I don't even read their messages-- I immediately block them. And I'm not on a dating app, where I have my photos, information, location and men already think I'm subhuman or a sex toy because of my presence on the dating app.

Men will try to argue with you, insult you, waste your time, use you for emotional therapy or as an emotional punching bag, if you let them.

I also agree with not responding to aggressive lvm who are trying to dominate you. I'll reply occasionally to a real sad sack one and give him a piece of my mind, but I would never ever reply to "NUMBER NOW" type crap. Because then they think you're actually buying into it slowly in their minds, and they get off on believing that. Then they think their little act to cover being an insecure boy is working.
