This is addressing two parts:

  1. Men letting men speak for them but then getting mad women repeat these uncontested claims.

  2. Men who get upset when men’s behavior is criticized, even when a generalization to the entire gender was NOT made.

“Important is sex. Its not wrong for men to want” is a response given when women call out men who dont value women outside of sex. I see this same type of backlash so many times that I’m starting to think men here think wanting sex and dehumanizing women to sex objects is the same thing.

If I have to write some examples of what gets the “You hate men for wanting sex” response:

- Criticizing “If thats all youre good for…..”

- Stating that there should be more to a relationship than sex and not seeing it as a way to get sex.

- Criticizing treating women not immediately having sex with a guy as a moral failing.

More to the third point: Even if she did have casual sex in the past, with a 33% orgasm rate for casual encounters, why should a woman keep risking awful sex for men’s benefit?

So if this is common for men to feel that way, why wouldn’t women generally see male sexuality as disgusting if it implied to be inherently exploitative and humiliating?

Sidenote: You cant tell women to “choose better” and to “reward” good men, but then look down at women for wanting “beta bux” just because women want a dynamic they also benefit from.
