Throughout my 20s I went on several first dates, I’d say around 50-60. Most of the men I met online on apps such as hinge or bumble, also all of them wrote that they were interested in long term or serious relationship. When I’d go on these dates, usually the man would say something slightly misogynistic, or would try to convince me to go back to his place after the date to ”Netflix and chill ” or straight up tell me they’d love to cook some food for me at their place and make out with me or would ask me how many dates it’d take before we could sleep together or imply something sexual. This made me realise I’m not the problem, all these porn addicted men are. They don’t see the value of committing to one partner anymore and building a life and family together. They’re actively objectifying women even when we make our intentions clear. So this is why birth rate is declining, men have become porn addicts and women can see through it and prefer not to be objects of gratification.
