On my second day of supposed light-duty restrictions, our hay guy wanted to deliver, so I instead spent the afternoon dragging pallets around in the mud. My back isn't really hurting, although the man cautions that may not be the case when I'm no longer doped up on a daily 40 mg of prednisone. Oy. Guess I'll cross that bridge when I come to it. Good news is that we have enough hay on hand now to take us through March 15, then our guy has another 60 bales in reserve that will get us to first cutting.

We set out two of the new bales for the main herd in between deliveries and they tucked right into it. It's a happy cow who eats with her nose in the air! I told John they were giving his hay a good Yelp review, lol.

It's weird to say out loud but incels have a hallowed history. Even ancient philosophers and historians were aware that the most dangerous cohort in society were young, unmarried, and underemployed men. Usually born to the lower echelons of society or second sons with no guaranteed birthrights.

Powerful men had to send them off to wars, expeditions, foreign colonies, or remote monasteries to prevent them from starting some shit. Low status men have always sought to make a name for themselves or displace the status quo that made them low status in the first place.

I always thought that was a true masculine story. Having to fight your way out the trenches. So many incels today just spend their entire day pacified playing video games, jerking off, and going nowhere fast that they can't really accept the fact that the struggle they face isn't new. Every single one of their descendants overcame what they're facing because news flash - not one of us is descended from a single incel. By definition, we couldn't have.

i think the problem with the whole issue of lonely sexless men is that the possible desired solution is extreme unclear.

men complain about women dating the “top 20%/10%/5% (depending on the day!) of men, they complain about women having too high of standards while ignoring the average man, they complain about being virgins into adulthood, and at some point it’s like, what do you want women to do?

they complain about not having sex, so women jump to the conclusion that men expect them to give it up as some sort of consolation government mandated free pussy.

according to the recent post, this isn’t what men want. so I’ve heard men want more “empathy”, but there’s only so many virtual hugs a girl can send. and if we’re all honest, virtual hugs don’t heal incels.

at the end of the day, attraction can’t be faked, and women don’t wanna have sex with men they aren’t attracted to. women overall don’t seem to crave sex like air and water like men do, and that’s not a woman’s problem to solve.
