I (25m) fully understand that looks matter, it's in your best interest to work on yourself as much as you realistically can, I'm not going to argue this.

But how much do they actually matter? Not every man is a gym bro/model teir guy, but they still have success in dating due to who they are are, not what they look like, (not completely).

I'll admit that the reason I don't have success is because I've never asked a women on a date, I know it's my fault, therefore I don't place blame on others or make excuses, I know exactly what the problem is.

I'm only 5 or 6/10, but even i manage to get some looks here and there, so it suggests to me that an average looking guy is fine, especially because the bar is really low these days.

What do you guys think?
