The more I read of TRP the more it feels so much like their focus is centered on the 18-22y/o sorority-girl-at-a-party-school types. They shout AWALT, yet the women described behave in ways that are so foreign to me. So much of their attention/focus/anecdata seems to regard a very small percentage of the population.

Most women I know don't go around dropping their panties for a guy just because he's hot/buff/popular/whatever. Most women I know would never be okay with being a "plate" for some dude for the hell of it or because he's tall or rich, etc and I certainly don't know a great many girls who actively lust after abusive, Dark Triads.

Now I'm not saying I'm privy to the intimate details of the lives of all the people I know but I look around and for the most I see women either in or seeking LTRs with stable mates; the criteria being someone they find attractive, of a similar age and similar interests. The women I know in LTRs didn't spend (or haven't spent) some portion of their 20s being pumped and dumped by a slew of random 'Alpha' guys only to resignedly "settle" for some beta shell of a man.

However I DO know girls like the ones TRP claims all/most women are like. Yet THEY are the "outliers" and "anomalies". The looks obsessed, alpha casing HB9s certainly do exist and the gold digging, CC riding 'sluts' are absolutely out there but - and not to knock the absolute stunners of the female population - the behaviors TRP describes as "common" are ones I've only seen among a particular subgroup of women. And we all know which.

In my experience, most guys do okay with women. They're not incels or perceptually frustrated by women nor do they feel they're "settling" when they get into LTRs. They're pretty much....happy with their dating pool. Meanwhile, the ones who struggle the most, become bitter/angry etc are the ones who are the most shallow, the ones who lust after the 1%/HB10s of women. They are the ones obsessed with looks, status, etc and inadvertently desire women who feel similarly.

TL;DR?: Are RP men's perception of women and strategies largely reliant on the type of women they desire?
