inspired by the online dating thread that was removed a few days ago - I propose a real life dating challenge that I'd be willing to bet a large sum of money on.

the challenge is an "equal" girl pitted against an optimized average looking guy in a singles atmosphere setting.

take a 5 foot 10 guy who is in shape, groomed/dressed well, normal social skills, but average in the face

vs

a 5 foot 6 girl who is in shape, groomed/dressed well, normal social skillls, and average in the face.

I bet anyone 1,000 dollars that the women will get more phone numbers in the night (let's say 10pm to 2am) in the following scenario:

The man has to try his hardest to get as many numbers as possible from at least average looking women. he can use any methods he chooses, but he has to be proactive and approach. he can skip to multiple venues, talk to as many women as he wants.
the women just has to get dressed up, and sit there. she must make zero effort into talking to men. If a man approaches she can choose to chat with him or not.

I bet 1,000 dollars that the women will win. win = get more numbers from the opposite sex. I am willing to take on this challenge with any women in real life (yes I am that average groomed/in shape guy).

I lose, I donate 1K to charity of choice.

I don't find strong features in females attractive. Its good to look at in pictures, but not good upclose. Models etc.

Women’s self-perceived attractiveness amplifies preferences for taller men. Women tend to consider taller men with broader shoulders more attractive, masculine, dominant, and higher in fighting ability, according to recent research.

Shorter men are seen as less attractive and less masculine by default. Taller men get positive traits put on to them for just existing. I guess its easy to put negative traits on to people who have other traits you dont like.

women who rated themselves as more attractive tended to give higher ratings to taller men. This suggests that women with higher self-esteem or confidence in their attractiveness set higher standards for their potential partners, particularly valuing height.

Almost every woman sees herself as attractive so what does that tell you?

...am I the only dude around here who isn't bothered by my height? I'm 5'7 but I've never thought of my height as being a problem. A lot of women I'm attracted to are shorter than me anyways, and I just get the idea this obsession with 6' and above is a uniquely American cultural fad from a terminally online generation, seeing as few people can tell the difference between 5'10 and 6' in person, and it essentially comes down to obsessing over a number.

Almost no womans ideal man is short and the body type will never be seen as desireable. Most women who end up with short men look past height and tolerate their bodies but they arent really into the body type those guys have. Tall men get women who actually like their physical appearance.

Some random YouTuber who’s famous for playing video games made a short about dating which basically boiled down to “you don’t need that macho man alpha bullshit, all you need to do is do the stuff you love and you’ll find her, and if you don’t then it’s because you’re desperate and they don’t like desperate”. This is a dude who’s attractive, talented, and financially successful, pretending to be an expert on dating.

Half the comments where like “Yo he just destroyed Andrew tate” and the other half was like “I’m 35, I’ve been following this advice all my life and have nothing to show for it”.

Stuff like this still irks me, kinda insulting to suggest people who struggle with dating just… aren’t going out and enjoying their hobbies?

Women like that are only looking for a status boost. She'll get bored with you eventually and move on.
