For our own sakes. Or at least the men who are seeking rare traits in women.

I live in the US, and so I'm speaking from that perspective, and I'm sure it's different elsewhere. I'm saying this more as a tactic for engaging with this particular society.

I think that men who are seeking partnerships that are built on mutuality, reciprocation, kindness, consideration. If they are looking for relationships where they can be a human being without it sacrificing the respect and attraction of their partners. These men need to embrace the fact that these are not common traits.

Not here. And not at this particular time. And not among women that are seeking relationships with men. Not enough for as many men who are seeking them. Never mind if they like you in particular.

We're not living in good times, and in hard times people either come together or close themselves off and become more opportunistic. The reality of at least this country, is that we choose the latter and most people have been looking out for themselves so long they don't know how to care for another person or even allow themselves to be cared for.

People don't trust each other enough. They don't have enough. And the foundations of a society in which people can flourish simply do not exist for the vast majority of people.

And within the bounds of dating, it'd be a lot better for men's mental health to realize that good matches are very uncommon.

Most women you see and come across, whether they like you or not, are not going to be attracted to the fullness of your humanity.

That takes a level of emotional intelligence, ethics, that are deeply uncommon in most people especially when there's no incentive to be that way.

That being the case, if it's possible, we have to learn to write-off the women who can only breed resentment and waste our time. Before they breed resentment and waste our time.

Healthier relationships are possible, but they're not the norm and they're not plentiful, and so one should have that in mind while they are dating, or while they are swearing off of it.

Good women are out there, but the odds are not in anyone's favor to find a good partner.

Understanding that beforehand rather than learning it after disappointments, abuse, would help people avoid the bitterness that's so so common these days.

The worst thing that's ever gotten in my way dealing with a woman, dealing with a girl was being sour about something or someone else. We're going to feel what we're going to feel, but it helps to avoid having unnecessary baggage. We'll be happier, we'll be easier to be around. It's a win-win.
