One of the biggest problems with the Red Pill is that it just doesn't listen to women. There are so many posts where the answer is simply, "Have you actually listened to what women are telling you?"

There's also an irony here with the Red Pill's obsession with the male gaze. I know some of you are going to say, "That's not the Red Pill!" But things like looksmaxxing are overwhelmingly about impressing other men. Women are socialized differently. Hormones influence behavior differently. Women generally are not evaluating men the same way men evaluate women.

That's why so many Red Pill talking points boil down to, "Why is she dating that asshole?" or, "She said she wanted an intelligent, kind guy!" Because instead of believing what women say they value, you assume they're lying and replace their perspective with your own. You think you understand women better than women understand themselves.

The same dynamic is why there's been such a push for informed, meaningful consent. Men are still generally expected to initiate sex and romance, while women are socialized to be passive, accommodating, and to avoid confrontation. That doesn't mean women are incapable of initiating or expressing desire. It means society punishes women for doing so. That's why SlutWalks existed. That's why "difficult women" are so often just women exercising agency instead of quietly going along with what men want.

Feminism exists, in large part, because society didn't listen to women. Women spent generations explaining what they were experiencing and were ignored, dismissed, or told they didn't understand their own lives. Eventually, that became an advocacy movement.

If you actually listened to women instead of assuming you already know what they think, a huge number of Red Pill beliefs would simply fall apart because they're based on caricatures, not reality.
