If you think this sub is an echo chamber you should see some of the other dating/relationship sites. Also, it is pretty accepted in the mainstream that women have it easier in dating. It's pretty common knowledge at this point that the average woman will get much more attention on a dating app than the average man ever will.

Okay, I feel like I have to repeat this every couple of weeks:

This subreddit is not for advice or inprovement. The purpose of this subreddit is to debate any perceived philosophy about human sexual nature, or lack thereof, particularly focusing on the descriptions of male/female sexual nature from r/TheRedPill (or any of the related red pill network subreddits like r/RedPillWomen and r/marriedredpill ). Also up for debate is the efficacy of sexual strategies given within TRP/RPW/MRP.

People should not be coming here for advice. It is not supposed to be for helping anybody. Why do you all come here acting like the purpose of this subreddit is to help anybody, when the description of the subreddit is literally free for everyone to read.

This sub is basically a place for blue pill men (and adjacent) to virtue signal for blue pill women.

You'll notice that despite the name of the sub, there's little to no actual debates between red pill women and blue pill women. Find me a recent thread or post where this actually happens.

Red pill men are a minority here.

Aside from the large contingent of blue men/women, there's a sizable minority of discontent men, which blue pill men see as prey for playing some cowardly status game with.

I like the rules here (no personal advice, no same sex from and to questions, debate response actually must challenge the OP, etc) to avoid circle jerks (echo chamber)

While there are a lot of the same topics that circulate (women have too high of standards, financial abortion, age gap, size, etc) there is enough variety and just plain regular rage bait for me to not consider it an echo chamber.

Are you sure it's an echo chamber to you because the topics surrounding around one topic (pill philosophy and dating) just make it look like it to you?

Mostly true but personally I've come to understand different perspectives here more than when I engage in social media I built myself.

(In here u read stuff u don't necessarily agree with/understand but someone often explains it/ their perspective if u ask)

Hi, that's a bold claim. Perhaps I am the exception to the rule but I learned a lot being in this sub. It just depend if your open minded or not. Discussing with people who have a wide variety of different opinions and make me do my own research and have a more nuanced opinion (even though I am a bit extrem sometimes)

If you want to use it as an echo chamber and follow your confirmation bias, no one will stop you. If you want to learn about people's experience and increase your knowledge about the dating scene and human relationship in general, you can. That's why I like this sub

There’s been plenty of times here that I’ve seen people offer a perspective or experience that I didn’t consider, or help me expand on my existing views (without being an unhealthy echo-chamber influence).

It’s only the minority of commentators and usually from the non-pillers more often than not, but while many of my views have not been changed and it’s mostly entertaining it has in some small ways been beneficial.

For example I agree with you about women in western cultures generally having dating easier that certain gaslighters in the culture suppress, and when this is due to biology it’s fine, but I am critical of when it’s due to things such as unbalanced distribution of DEI in society, more women than men going to University now but it not being seen as an issue compared to when it was the opposite, lack of Feminism promoting more open gender roles for men, etc. and some advice on this sub has helped me navigate that in my own attempts at dating.

I wouldn't say that this sub-reddit qualifies as an classic reddit echo-chamber such as r/AskWomenNoCensor. The heterogeneity of opinions and takes seems significantly higher, in my opinion.

With regard of getting concrete and useful advice out of this sub:

If you want to gather statistically significant data to improve yourself and/or your dating life, you just use google and/or AI. People lie, delibaretely or subconsciously. That's just how it is.

If you have strongly held beliefs about dating, it’s likely nothing here will change your POV. We all interact with things that either reinforce our beliefs or make us react but rarely challenge our thinking enough to change perspective. You may want too much from PPD.

I disagree. I've seen progress. Women here actually finally acknowledge now that they're going for the top tier ~~bag~~ guy. Just ~12 month ago this sub was full of BP gaslighting i.e. "Women just want a nice guy", and we kept calling that bs out. Now the tune is "So what we want a top guy? There's nothing wrong with wanting a top guy!" The progress is slow, but it's there.

I also think the progress will accelerate as women become increasingly more desperate to lock in a non-existent "top guy", whatever that term entails. One can only live in a fantasy for so long.

Additionally, I think gen alpha rolling back into conservative patterns also signifies the end of the so-called Sexual Revolution. With complete lack of privacy everyone knows who fucked whom, and whores are bound to forever be rec use only. They can't move cities and reinvent themselves as wife material virgins anymore. The red flag of today doesn't get any bigger than "I've lost all my friends" coming from a woman.

The biggest eye opener is going to be next big economic crisis (oh, it's coming). All the diversity hires with high paying jobs are going to end up unemployed and defaulting on their mortgage/car loan. Their definition of a "top guy" is going to go through a rapid radical metamorphosis, assuming they'll even have time to debate on this sub lol.

Not the truth our own personal truth based on our own lived experiences making this subreddit more of a digital therapy session, except you want your beliefs semi challenged only for you to go back to believing them again.

So it's mainly you, who is the ideologue who is not willing to change their beliefs, because you already have your own truth that isn't based or challenged by evidence or arguments, it's fixed from your biased perception and ideas about reality. The worst kind of basis for a worldview about human mating. And let me guess, you are also not successful with it.

Finding answers isn’t something worth while

It helps navigating the mating market, your own life, social interactions with people. If you want to stumble around blindly, with assumption about the world that you don't challenge, your results will reflect that.

Zero struggle is inaccurate. It's widely accepted that women have it easier but zero struggle is inaccurate. Anyone can get scammed, cheated on, STD's, raped or murdered because at the end of the day when dealing with any person (attractive or not) there's always a risk.

You guys always get butthurt because the things we experience and have seen others experience don't always match your own perspectives. There are 8 billion+ people on Earth. Make room for the fact that many people's experiences will differ to your preconceived views.
