I don't really care if someone wants to live traditionally. I do miss that back in the days you didn't have TikTok and a phone to tell people about your lifestyle. You just... Kinda did your thing without telling everyone about it.

Unless they are watching TV or otherwise screen hypnotized kids are a lot of work. Most SAHPs I know can't really clean unless they are asleep, so at nap time (assuming they nap) or bed time. Hopefully she would be doing something engaging with the kids while they are at home (playing with them, taking them to they playground), but in that case then she's not meal prepping or cleaning. So what are the kids doing all day that she is able to keep the house clean?

I don't like the "You deserve to get cheated on" bit if taken literally, but if it's just meant to show how seriously she takes being a good wife then it's pretty awesome.

On the other hand I think I'd prefer if she didn't take on too much responsibility for no reason. I don't need a fancy breakfast every morning. I don't care if the house isn't spotless. I'd prefer if she was fresh and happy to see me when I got home, rather than worn out from overdoing all the homemaking stuff.

A man and woman should give themselves freely to their partners, sexually. Today's view of sex is that it's something women have, and something men need to somehow earn. Then, these same people lose their shit when someone suggests relationships just might be transactional. A pretty toxic view of sexual intimacy if you ask me.

But, even feminists say that love is supposed to be this "synergistic, reciprocal exchange of intimacy" but then again they probably mean between two women.

Being cheated on is not a punishment. It can be in some cases that someone cheats deliberately to punish, but I don't think that's the norm or anything.

But I also think it's kind of dumb because asking the question the way you are phrasing it and framing it puts it out there as a covert contract. "If you do this you will not be cheated on." But not being cheating on is a pretty explicit agreement for most relationships. So ultimately to me the premise is odd. You don't earn somebody else's integrity or virtue. Integrity and virtue are internal properties of a person.

I don't think anyone should be a freeloader in a family structure, and they should all have their own duties to fulfill. Getting dismissed as a family member is more reasonable when someone is trying to be a freeloader. That does not warrant cheating however.
