What do you think about r/antinatalism?
[–]CarkudoThe original opinionated omega0 points1 point2 points 5 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
I've never really explored antinatalist views. What's your opinion on them?

I didn't pull off anything - it really just happened, like the normies always say.

How intertwined is the incel community and the far right?? Is there no correlation whatsoever ?
[–]CarkudoThe original opinionated omega2 points3 points4 points 5 years ago (4 children) | Copy Link
For reasons I still can't figure out, incels in every country tend to lean more right than left. Since my own left ethics are informed strongly by my incel experiences, it's hard for me to understand. Because of this, I guess a given incel is more likely to be far right than an average person.
[–][deleted] 5 years ago (3 children) | Copy Link
[–]wgtow11 point2 points3 points 5 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link
Incels tend to lean right because incels want women to be traditional ie sex slaves for men.
Nowadays feminism has given women more freedom and education and independence. Incels want a return to the traditional days when women didn't have as much freedom, education or independence, which means they stay at home and serve the man by satiating his sexual urges, doing all the cleaning, cooking etc. Basically a slave.
[–]CarkudoThe original opinionated omega1 point2 points3 points 5 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
You mean, you suppose that incels lean right because the powerful people who hate them lean left? That's an explanation that would work for the US and maybe Europe, not for Russia or Japan - two countries whose incel populations I'm also familiar with. In Russia, for example, the general population is right-leaning and incels tend to not stray too much from that, while feminists are actually extreme right. In Japan incels are usually right-leaning but aren't really antagonized by the left the way they are in the west, so there's no conflict that would be pushing them to the right artificially.
There has to be some common reason why incelhood seems to push men to the right across different cultures.

Yea, I know. I visited Tokyo. Akihabara, Shibuya, & Shinjuku districts were my favorite. Wish I could visit the Shibuya 109-2 again. It's so difficult to get Unagi outside of Japan it's one of my favorite dishes. Ginza business district was nice, saw some biker gangs walking home at night back to my apartment.

How much, in your opinion, does society care about low value men?
I think society cares about such man quite a bit, but only in the sense that the schoolyard bully cares about his victim - i.e. their existence is significant but not in a way that elicits empathy or sympathy.

What does "falling out of love" even mean.
It's a nothingburger, something you're "expected" to eat despite being of no substance. An unexpressed expectation, if you prefer.

Another example of a "nothingburger" in real, physical realm of life would be having a line drawn on a wall and being told to jump over it. Not higher than, but OVER. LOL

Why are you overweight and why aren't you doing something about it? (especially considering that it is taboo in Japan)?
[–]CarkudoThe original opinionated omega3 points4 points5 points 5 years ago (7 children) | Copy Link
I've struggled with weight all my life - I put on weight very easily and it's only grown worse with age.
I'm not doing anything with it because I did in the past and it led to nothing. At my fittest women were still repulsed and people who saw me naked just commented on the loose skin instead of the belly.
[–]ChibsFilipTelfordd0 points1 point2 points 5 years ago (6 children) | Copy Link

Just had to gain some muscle to tighten the skin out.
And/or lose the weight more gradually

to tighten the skin out.
Or snip snip. The "biggest loser" comes to mind, they got surgeries to remove loose skin, iirc - it's been a while and I never followed it, was more aware of the show's existence?

Yep. True.
I got lucky when i lost 70lbs i didn't have much loose skin because i gained some muscle after. I have abs now but there is some loose skin over them that makes them look a bit weird. Not too bad though

I know. I tried for years but couldn't get any progress whatsoever. It's bizarre, really. Over about four years I went through several personal trainers, a bunch of workout routines and diets, and still couldn't even get my bench press up to 50 kilos. I obviously suspected some kind of medical condition and went through a bunch of doctors as well, but nothing turned up.
I wish more weight loss guides would mention that.
[–]ChibsFilipTelfordd2 points3 points4 points 5 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link

Yeah for real. Imo the ideal weight loss pace is 1.5lbs per week, i lost 70lbs but it took me a year and it was a decent pace imo.
I just did IF honestly and still ate like shit

Do you think that attractive people have the ability to empathize with unattractive people?
Also what % of women do you think fall in the femcel category (if you even believe that they exist in the first place)?
[–]CarkudoThe original opinionated omega9 points10 points11 points 5 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link
I have a strong suspicion that they actually don't. It's just bizarre how systematically normal people's empathy just turns off when unattractive people are concerned - it's extremely noticeable if you learn to spot it, though I suspect you have to be on the unattractive side for that.
[–]Chaddamhusein5 points6 points7 points 5 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

What do you think contributed to your ex's betrayal (let's call it what it is)? Was there anything risky in her background, any red flags?
[–]CarkudoThe original opinionated omega3 points4 points5 points 5 years ago (3 children) | Copy Link
I don't really see it as a betrayal.
Corona-chan certainly contributed greatly. The border closures caught us in separate countries - we have not met in person since February. Otherwise, I don't know. I guess it really is the lightswitch effect that someone else mentioned in this comment section - she just met someone else and her attraction to me simply evaporated. If it were a gradual process there could be something for me to analyze (or agonize), wondering if it was something I said or did, or some change in me that I never noticed. But as it stands, it was almost instantaneous. In the space of less than two weeks she went from being interested and engaging to... being just another woman who barely cares for anything I have to say and would rather be left alone. The 'let's not be husband and wife anymore' talk followed soon after.
[–]abaxeron✴️Indian Programmer6 points7 points8 points 5 years ago* (2 children) | Copy Link

I don't really see it as a betrayal
You got separated by a worldwide disaster beyond anyone's control, and her reaction was to go dick-hopping, in Moscow, subjecting herself to the very risk that border closures were supposed to reduce. I don't know a better word.
I don't know a better word.
Falling out of love? The commitment that we shared was founded on mutual attraction - as that went away the commitment itself lost meaning, so there was nothing to betray. Conversely, she hasn't betrayed any of the commitments that are still meaningful - our business (what remains of it), the assets I entrusted her with, pragmatic stuff like that. If she fucks me over on any of that - that's when I will genuinely feel betrayed.

Well I was joking around, yeah.
I think femcels are just normal women with a combination of:
1) Being frustrated with the kinds of options available to then in the market - i.e. they have unrealistically high standards
2) Feeling that incels are special and wanting to be special too
Funnily enough, I do believe they play a big part in informing the idea that incels are alone because of unrealistic standards. The way femcels' flaws are projected onto incels means that the public is actually aware of the femcels' flaws, but denies then.

Just think for a moment though, that you felt they were repulsed or said you were disgusting may not mean that.
Of course it doesn't necessarily mean that. But it's consistent enough and different enough from normal people that I'm sure a good chunk of those judgments are correct. And that's not counting situations which are unambiguous and/or corroborated by other people.

The moment you have to resort to lying to prove your point, you know you've lost.
Dude, I'm used to yanks thinking Russia is some traditionalist heaven full of demure women who will fall eternally in love with you just for having a job and not being an alcoholic. It's a nice delusion and it's easily reinforced because for most men from a first world country Russia will indeed be easy mode - every girl and her mother will try to court you in hopes of getting some money and/or a visa. For local men it's not nearly as easy.
Btw, this isn't quite related, but if you говоришь по-русски, I invite you to check out some Russian diaspora forums/facebook groups just to get an idea of how deeply those women love their foreign husbands.

The last time I had a really long conversation with you.... you stated it was utterly hopeless for you and you'd never get a girl. I seem to recall skin conditions played a big role in this.
We argued about that for many, many comments. Possibly hundreds, certainly dozens. You wouldn't budge.
So.....Now you've been with at least one girl.
Did it turn out not to be hopeless in the end ?
How do you feel about all the young men you convinced that it was also hopeless for them (many of whom will have given up based on your advice) using the same arguments you made to me ?

Your entire position rests on the assumption that I and other incels are not as disadvantaged as we think. It's a nice and comfy position to take, I get it. It's also useless and unhelpful though so unless your goal is to simply dunk on incels (which we both know it is), there's no reason to take it up, much less actually talk about it.
[–]-TheGreasyPole-Pissed Off that Reddit Admins killed my old account2 points3 points4 points 5 years ago (8 children) | Copy Link
No, the purpose isn't to dunk on incels.... and by now I've seen enough pics to be able to tell you that for the vast majority of "incels" they are not as disadvantaged as they think.
Given they almost always think "its impossible" and as far as I can see its "very possible, if more difficult than for others".
As your example shows reasonably well, after all.... you thought it was impossible too.
[–]8017351 point2 points3 points 5 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link
It sounds like snake oil marketing for relationships without addressing the lack of reason for going into one, as it's become quite the usual on this sub.
Shaming and avoiding the simple question of "Why commit in the first place?", and ignoring provided stats or claiming they're useless/fake/irrelevant/not done right and other excuses.
Followed by one of the many variants of something "Why 'HVM' men not good enough!!! WAAH WAAH!"-esque.
Incels can go to prostitutes and the cel problem vanishes for ##-### currency.
Marriages are tanking, divorce is still in the 51-90ies, depends on where one looks.

IIRC divorces are going down, we're at about 1950's level of divorces right now. Marriage is also declining. But more married people now stay married than at any point for 60-70 years. Also as per the latest data available abortions are also down.

"Why commit in the first place?" is a good question, but its not something you can ask IF you also want to get sexual access to an actual girl as the Incels do. Its part of the deal they'd probably have to make to get that access.

No. I'm not.
Unfortunately I can't find that exchange because you appear to have deleted all your comments over about 1 year old (i.e. from before you got a girl).
But you've helpfully left your posts up and they confirm the attitude I recall....
I'm done. I've tried my best and my best was obviously not enough. I'm more or less fully convinced now that no woman will ever like me or be attracted to me, and that I will never have a close friend. I don't want to keep trying. I don't know what to try anymore.
and
I'm 25 years old and have never had any sort of connection with another person. Intimate and sexual connections are out of the question because I'm extremely physically repulsive and have nothing to make up for it, and even just friendly ones are out because I'm ugly, weak, clumsy, incapable and generally not as good as the average person at anything.
Your post at TRP was titled...
Any advice for a hopeless incel?
...FFS
I am very much finding the attitude I remember you having replicated again and again through these posts.
That it's getting us nowhere. And that's where the therapy essentially broke down, I feel. After that she essentially told me that I don't have any serious issues and just need to express my feelings more openly, be more aggressive. Essentially, it was "just be yourself" all over again. That pissed me off A LOT and I admitted that during the last session. Then I spent the majority of the session reiterating just how hopeless my situation is, shooting down inane suggestions like "Maybe she wasn't mocking you?" and "Maybe you're just not seeing the signals from women?"
And so on.... You really were that guy.
You really were that guy.
Where did his adventure detour end up?
He was modded over at /r/incels. The he got a girl. Then the incels forced him out as mod because he wasn't an incel. Then he disappeared for a few years with his gal. Now he's lost the gal and returned.
Ah. Sounds somewhat like an adventure indeed.
Happens, though, not uncommon, really.

I don't think I was wrong in my assessment of the situation. I was going off my experience and common sense - if all women are repulsed by me then it stands to reason that I won't attract a woman. I would certainly have been unreasonable to predict that one day I'm going to randomly run into someone who will find me very physically attractive. In the same sense I now don't really expect to find another such person - aside from my wife all other women still react the same to me. Worse, if anything, since I've gained a bit of weight lately.
Since I can't remember when we had that conversation, I don't know which arguments I used. Do you recall any specific ones?

I don't think I was wrong in my assessment of the situation. I was going off my experience and common sense
If your experience and common sense is telling you its impossible..... but then it happens.... is it possible your experience and common sense was way off the mark in terms of accuracy ?
if all women are repulsed by me then it stands to reason that I won't attract a woman.
It turns out, that despite your intuition to the contrary, that not all women were repulsed by you. You got that wrong. By this point thats just a fact.
I would certainly have been unreasonable to predict that one day I'm going to randomly run into someone who will find me very physically attractive.
Only because your common sense and experience was wrong and was feeding you false information..... false information you fed onto to other young men, injuring their lives and chances, because you were so sure it was right.
A lot of them (through no help from you) are going to discover the same things in the coming years, and will rue the day you talked them into/they talked themselves into being so very fundamentally wrong about women and their chances with them.
In the same sense I now don't really expect to find another such person - aside from my wife all other women still react the same to me. Worse, if anything, since I've gained a bit of weight lately.
Didn't they all react that way to you.... until you met your wife.... too ?
So your position now is the same as then, better even as you have some experience now.
You can no longer maintain its impossible. It'll happen again in the future too, the more quickly you move away from the attitutde that its all impossible.... the more quickly it'll happen.
No, I searched for it using the redditcommentserach.com tool..... but its way too far in the past on my old account, over 1,000 comments before. You may be able to find it in your comment history.
It was just a lot of the usual standard icel stuff IIRC..... "it's impossible for me"... why?...."It just is because my X is hideous"... well what have you don about it ? ...."Everything, but its impossible". etc etc etc
I also seem to remember a LOT of insistence that you had to have plastic surgery, it was imperative. And only plastic surgery could possibly save you, for some reason or another.
Absolutely nothing conceding that your primary problem was almost certainly your attitude to women/dating.
It did go on for an awful lot of comments. "Over the fold" and for pages and pages after.
But it was the usual incel brick wall "I don't know shit about women/relationships because I haven't had one, but what I do know means its clearly impossible I could have one".
What are your thoughts now about luring hundreds or perhaps thousands of young men into the pit with you ?
Don't you feel bad about all the other crabs you pulled back into the bucket with this stuff ?
is it possible your experience and common sense was way off the mark in terms of accuracy ?
Of course it's possible, but that just doesn't seem to be the case here.
Only because your common sense and experience was wrong and was feeding you false information...
No, it wasn't. They haven't changed since meeting my wife, and my wife in fact corroborated them - she was at first dubious and then apalled at the way women negatively react to my appearance.
You can no longer maintain its impossible.
I don't. My position is that it most likely won't happen and that was probably my position in the conversation you and I had as well - you're just trying to paint me as less reasonable than I am because you're looking to push some sort of agenda.
also seem to remember a LOT of insistence that you had to have plastic surgery, it was imperative.
You're confusing me with someone else. Only one of my physical issues is readily resolvable with plastic surgery and while I wanted to get that, I didn't really feel an urgency to.
You seem to be unable to recall what arguments I made, and the few things you do recall are misrepresentations. Despite that, you still condemn me. I cannot tell you what I think of those things because you've given me nothing concrete to comment on, and I don't think your condemnations have a leg to stand on. One thing I will comment on is that no matter what comments I've made in the past, hateful people like you are causing much, much more harm to vulnerable men and it's made that much more reprehensible by the fact that you do it for your own pleasure and nothing else. And your desperation to paint me (and probably other incels too?) as a monster is likely just a way for you to channel what little conscience you have away from condemning yourself and to condemning someone else.
[–]-TheGreasyPole-Pissed Off that Reddit Admins killed my old account2 points3 points4 points 5 years ago (6 children) | Copy Link
Well, if there is "an agenda" I am pushing..... it is that "incels defeatist attitudes are most of their problem, and guys encouraging and amplifying that attitude are making things worse for incels".
Your phrasing wasn't necessarily that this was urgent. Your phrasing was this was absolutely necessary to you "having a chance" as I recall..... at the time you were saving up for it but it was going to be a while as it was expensive. My position at the time was something like "While this may help, it won't help as much as you think as the main problem here isn;t what you think it is".
You seem to be unable to recall what arguments I made, and the few things you do recall are misrepresentations. Despite that, you still condemn me. I cannot tell you what I think of those things because you've given me nothing concrete to comment on, and I don't think your condemnations have a leg to stand on.
Oh, I think they absolutely have a leg to stand on.
You were an incel who claimed that you'd never find a woman, and you helped lead and coach other incels in the attitudes that led you to that conclusion.
Then you got a girl despite that.
And the attitudes you had, and encouraged in others, actively harmed you and them in achieving that goal.
Although I'm happy you got a girl in the end, you helped promote attitudes that made it more difficult for yourself and others to reach that goal state.
One thing I will comment on is that no matter what comments I've made in the past, hateful people like you are causing much, much more harm to vulnerable men and it's made that much more reprehensible by the fact that you do it for your own pleasure and nothing else.
You're projecting hate of incels on me. I don't hate incels.
They're men in a bad situation, who need help to get out of that situation.
You're one of the guys that encouraged them to believe there was no help for them in changing that circumstance, that they should accept it and (frankly) revel in it. Also that anyone trying to help them was "selling them false hope/a dream" and were to be ignored in favour of listening more to others who agreed with them it was hopeless.
I am interested to see how you squared what you did on that front with the fact that the world has confirmed to you since then that you wern't right to do so. That there was a way out that could be found... because you found it.
And your desperation to paint me (and probably other incels too?) as a monster
I'm not painting you as a monster. I am asking you how you square your situation "I have got a girl" with your previous insistence that "getting a girl was impossible for me" and your encouragement of other men as "facing reality is admitting its impossible for you too".
If you think that makes you a monster, thats your assessment of it. I just thought it made you wrong, and was interested to see if it made you wrong and contrite and perhaps had caused you to try using your own experience to offer others a way out of the trap people like them (and the old you) create for themselves with incel/black pill attitudes.
is likely just a way for you to channel what little conscience you have away from condemning yourself and to condemning someone else.
Well, no. I'm pretty happy that the advice I've always offered men has done no harm to their ability to pursue their goals.... and in some cases assisted them. I didn't talk anyone into giving up..... And while I did offer them ways to improve their situation, I offered no false hope either. My conscience is clear.
I think this last little segment has exposed that maybe yours isn't.
You're not a monster for what you did (are perhaps still doing). You're just a human, like the rest of us. And prone to being wrong, like the rest of us.
I'm interested in seeing if the realisation that "the one thing the incel worldview told you wouldn't happen just happenned" has caused you to change that worldview AND (if it has) whether you intend to try and undo some of the damage you did to others while you were wrong about how the world/women worked.
Because you were wrong about it. You were wrong in a way that was damaging to you and others. And you spent a lot of time in a high profile position where you got lots of others to follow you down the wrong path.
[–]CarkudoThe original opinionated omega2 points3 points4 points 5 years ago (5 children) | Copy Link
I had been that guy, but I was no longer that guy when I was active in r/incels and when we presumably had that conversation you keep referring to. I eventually stopped being quite as categorical and presuming to know my own future.
you helped lead and coach other incels in the attitudes that led you to that conclusion
I did not though. I did and do promote the 'attitude' that incels are extremely disadvantaged in the dating market, and that it's likely that any given incel won't meet a partner ever - which is sadly borne out by the accounts of older incels. That in turn makes it reasonable to plan life in accordance with that. I still stand by that and intend to follow my own advice now that I'm single and likely to remain that way for the rest of my life. Unlike the strawman you've been so desperately beating with a stick so far, I believe my 'attitude' is quite reasonable and humane and immune from the sort of indictment that you're trying to make.
Sorry dude, I get that you're looking for a cartoon villain to triumph over, but I'm not that villain. And you're an asshole and a narcissist for trying to reduce me to that - I am a person and you don't get to treat me as anything less than that. The fact that you think digging out old posts somehow gives you that right just shows how fucked up your views are.
Let's have a deal here: you either drop this strawman shit and start having a real conversation with me, or I stop replying to you. I'm sure you're aware of what you are doing, and thus it's in your power to stop and start acting in good faith. Do so or this conversation is over.
[–]-TheGreasyPole-Pissed Off that Reddit Admins killed my old account2 points3 points4 points 5 years ago* (4 children) | Copy Link
You were pretty categorical about it when chatting to me. I'd estimate this was about 4 or 5 years ago. It may have been before you were modded, or about that time.
And the language I found in those posts were very much what I remembered from that conversation..... down to the heavy use of the word "impossible/hopeless".
IIRC, our conversation was very similar to your description of your conversation with your therapist.... where a conversation about your situation just became an opportunity for you to monopolise the rest of the conversation by telling me just how impossible it was from multiple angles. You posted that OP about 5 years ago, so thats about the right timescale and indicates your mindset at this time was how I recalled it.
Turned out..... It wasn't. All those rationales were wrong.
I did not though. I did and do promote the 'attitude' that incels are extremely disadvantaged in the dating market, and that it's likely that any given incel won't meet a partner ever - which is sadly borne out by the accounts of older incels. That in turn makes it reasonable to plan life in accordance with that.
I feared as much. It might well take you having your 2nd relationship before you'll understand that you were (and seemingly are) still wrong about this.
And if this is what your selling the other incels.....almost al of whom are in far better situations than you were.... you are still doing the damage to them that I feared you were, despite having the kind of experience that should have jogged you out of that rut.
It's not, not even for you.... and its certainly not for the many hundreds of men you advise, most of whom are in a better situation than you were on starting your incel adventure.
This is really bad advice, that will lead them to be unhappier as a group on net than if they'd been given no advice at all. This is anti-advice.
Sorry dude, I get that you're looking for a cartoon villain to triumph over, but I'm not that villain.
I've said repeatedly that you're not a villain, or a monster, just wrong in the way humans are often wrong.
I know its psychologically easier for you to pretend this is what I am doing as it allows you to block it out from your mind, but you're really not doing yourself any favours trying to find a way to dismiss this because of "mental attitudes you want me to have to make it easy for you to do so".
And you're an asshole and a narcissist for trying to reduce me to that
I haven't reduced you to anything. The only person who's called you a monster of villain here is you. I've just been thinking of you as a normal human who made a mistake and was offered a rare opportunity to realise that.
The fact that you think digging out old posts somehow gives you that right just shows how fucked up your views are.
No. I dug them up ONLY because you queried my recollection of our conversation. You tried to make me out as a liar, or mistaken, in an attempt to deflect my questions.
An extremely cursory look at your posts page took me 5 mins, and re-assured me that I wasn't mistaken....I was recalling correctly.... and your attempt to gaslight me by saying you "never said it was impossible" was refuted multiple times by other posts where you described your situation as impossible.
Stop trying to deflect this by making things up. It's not helping you any, and the attempts are really transparent.
The usual incel methods for avoiding the cognitive dissonance of considering you were wrong aren't going to help you here.
Let's have a deal here: you either drop this strawman shit and start having a real conversation with me, or I stop replying to you.
I have been having a real conversation, about what you really said, and what your attitudes really were. You're the one trying to deflect this by casting aspersions on my character/motivations, not the other way round.
I didn't call you a monster or a villain. You made that up in your head and projected it on me.
You very much DID call me an asshole and a narcissist.
So if you want to apologise for that, I'll accept that and move on.
I'm sure you're aware of what you are doing, and thus it's in your power to stop and start acting in good faith. Do so or this conversation is over.
I am acting in good faith.
Lets re-iterate here....
Your position previously was finding a girl was impossible. You said it to me. You said it repeatedly in the posts of yours that still survive.
Yet..... you got a girl.... so that view was clearly wrong.
Yet you are persisting in that view, or a very close analogue, and you continue to preach that to other young men..... most of whom are in far better positions than you were, and so most of whom have far higher chances of getting a girl than you did.
By doing that you are actively harming their chances of having happy lives where they acheive their goals, in so far as those goals include having a girl.
Your own life history demonstrates this.
Why do you insist on still carrying on harming the other men by imparting to them the mindset that reduces their chances considerably ? A mindset that your own personal experiences seem to directly refute.
Not every girl found you repulsive. A reasonable relationship was possible. You and most other incels have an opportunity to have those relationships IF you fix the ideology that leads you to these false conclusions.
You insist on fighting windmills - you can do that without me. Have a good day.
[–]-TheGreasyPole-Pissed Off that Reddit Admins killed my old account0 points1 point2 points 5 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link
No. Yet let me Ask You Anything. This is what I wanted to ask.
It seems I've got my answer. Despite an experience that directly contradicts what you used to believe, and standard incel ideology, you've decided to hew to the ideology rather than believe the evidence of your own eyes.
It seems you're rationalising this away as a "few million to one chance" .... you'd rather believe you were lottery winner lucky than just wrong.
I suspect you're only going to reconsider this when you get a 2nd relationship, although even then you may be so far gone you come up with another extremely implausible scenario for why this still means you are right, and its still hopeless for you, you just "won the lottery twice".
You haven't shown even the slightest inkling that you may have considered that the incel ideology about women/relationships is just wrong. Even though thats way more likely than you are a lottery winner.
No doubt at all that incel/black pill is still right despite your experiences.... and the many other incels that have also "ascended" ?
Didn't read past the second paragraph.
I get it, you disapprove of me. I also get that you think your disapproval matters. Sorry, dude, you're too morally bankrupt to be meting out any meaningful judgment. Being judged like that by a raging bigot like yourself does nothing but annoy me.

If you ascend, you will learn that Blackpill isn't the truth.
There is more, much more, to sex, relationships and sexuality than the black pill recognises.
And if you ascend, you'll start to understand what those other things are and how they fundamentally contradict the basic black pill message.

idk bro im in incel subs and i went on one date. if anything it told me blackpill is truth because she kept gushing over how hot I was. She was very nice, but I was not attracted to her (fat and had no chin, eyebags, blue hair)

[–]-TheGreasyPole-Pissed Off that Reddit Admins killed my old account0 points1 point2 points 5 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
The fact "girls like physically attractive men" does not make Black Pill correct.
Yes, women like physically attractive men. They also like men who are average, or below average, if they are farily psychologically standard human males.
Women are attracted to both physical and mental/psyhological attributes in men. Because the Black Pill denies the second, outright rejects that this is possible, thats one of the things that makes it incorrect. There are also plenty of others.
Looks aren't "nothing" but they aren't "everything" either. One of the ways Black pill tries to defend itself in bad faith is by making this dichotomy (either it means anything, or it means nothing). Thats not the case.
Plenty of unattractive men get laid, get girl friends and get relationships. What they have in common with incels is their baseline level of physical attractiveness. Where they differ markedly is in their attitude and psychology about themselves, dating and women.

As it happens.... it's already about 7.... Becaue the first link covers a half dozen guys. And the reason it was these links, was that was enough and I didn't feel like spending more than 30 seconds on it.

The ones that do don't identify as incels anymore.
"incel" is not actually being involuntarily celibate. Many men are that way, and do not identify as incel.
"incel" is about this attitude.... its impossible for me because of $my_Reason.... girls despise me.... Saying anything other than that is giving people false hope.
Millions of incels have "ascended" and learned that they believed the above in error. Millions and millions of them. But when they do.... they leave the incel community way, way, way behind them because the incel community is about believing the above. Not about not having sex.
[–]CarkudoThe original opinionated omega1 point2 points3 points 5 years ago (3 children) | Copy Link
Millions of people, and you can't find even one. Shows how much your point of view is worth.
How many do you want ? People leave the incel community all the time when they get a girl-friend.
Like you did. For a couple of years at least.
The first link is full of people who are completely irrelevant to what you were being asked. It figures - you just googled 'former incels' and slapped the link into the comment without even reading it. Good job showing once again that you're not worth talking to.
Like you did.
I didn't leave the incel community. I was banned from .co and IWH for reasons that had nothing to do with my ascending. If anything, the mods of IWH banned me because I would not toe the line on blackpill content.

Incels know that there is an extremely small chance of making it out. It's similar to winning the lottery. Sure it can happen, but it's stupid to plan your life around something so improbable.
[–]-TheGreasyPole-Pissed Off that Reddit Admins killed my old account0 points1 point2 points 5 years ago (3 children) | Copy Link
Its just not that improbable.
Winning the lottery is typically something that a few tens of million to one.
For the average incel, there odds of "getting a girl at least once" are dramatically lower than that. Usually somewhere between evens and 2:1..... and even then usually ONLY because "adding psychological repulsiveness to physical repulsiveness makes the situation exponentially worse".
Now, you may be one of those incels missing half of their face..... or having severe cerebral palsy..... Or 2 heads or something.... But in my experience thats actually approximately none of you. Whenever I end up talking to one of you, you're nowhere near as badly off as that.
So if you're a fairly standard incel.... then your problem is yourself and your mental attitude to sex/women more than any phsyical issue you have.
Luckily, that can be fixed..... Unluckily, you won't want to (because if you're self-identifying as an incel you've already chosen to reject this possibility and focus on physical looks alone).
[–]bowserfire730 points1 point2 points 5 years ago* (2 children) | Copy Link
How could the problem be mental if women refuse to interact with me? I would change this if I could, but I can't control other people.
[–]-TheGreasyPole-Pissed Off that Reddit Admins killed my old account0 points1 point2 points 5 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link
Part of the reason they don't interact with you are the psychological attitudes yo have to yourself, and to other people.
Its not necessarily the case that your physical attributes are the reason you are completely unsuccessful. Plenty of physicall below-average, even ugly, men are successful.
But "below-average or ugly" + "repulsive personality" are pretty much a deal killer. You can't be missing both.
[–]bowserfire731 point2 points3 points 5 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
You are missing the point. I agree that personality is needed, but it doesn't come into play if you aren't attractive enough. I actually think my personality is quite good, but let's assume for a second that you are right and my personality is terrible. Women would never know that my personality is bad, because they never interact with me. It's not like they can just look at me and see my personality. That's why it's impossible for personality to be what's holding me back, because it's not even a variable in the equation.

[–]Fiberrig0 points1 point2 points 5 years ago (4 children) | Copy Link
I dont know that much about incels and theory might not be the best term, but i am curious and interested. So stop me if i say something that doesn't fit. I thought that incels believed they would never have sex and if they did they wouldn't be incels? Do you consider yourself as still being an incel? I just see a lot of people thinking that they are objectively unattractive, when it is very subjective what people find attractive
I thought that incels believed they would never have sex
More or less, yeah. But the unifying idea isn't that won't ever have sex but that they cannot have sex. Some hope to ascend, others have given up that hope. I'm fairly convinced that some men cannot ascend no matter what they do.
Do you consider yourself as still being an incel?
No, that would be ridiculous. I'm not an incel anymore and I'm happy I'm not. I can only hope that as many other incels as possible get the same break I got.
That said, I don't really expect to find another partner again. I'm not young, still just as unattractive as I used to be, and a bit fatter. I don't have much of an income as a man in his late thirties and there's a stigma against divorced men in Japan. Even before my looks made me pretty much radioactive to women, and now I more or less don't exist to them. Even just getting a conversation out of a woman is a rare occasion. In this sense, my pragmatic situation is back to what it was when I still identified as incel. Of course, my experience would make me fundamentally impossible to relate to from the point of view of actual incels.
it is very subjective what people find attractive

I have two questions,
Have you ever hated women for your situation? If so, how did you fix it?
With you being a self identified incel, is it sex or Loving intimacy incels crave?
[–]CarkudoThe original opinionated omega6 points7 points8 points 5 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
I wouldn't go so far as to say I hate women, but I do dislike them. In all areas of life my interactions with women are, on average, more negative than my interactions with men. It's just a circumstance of my life which shapes my day to day activities. It's beneficial for my mental health and I don't see why it would require fixing.
Everyone's different. I wanted and want both, other incels might want either one of the other. I imagine with the amount of trauma some incels carry, it might be difficult for them become comfortable with emotional intimacy because of the vulnerability that it entails.

Looks or charm (game)
Both matter. Work on both.
Does it depend on the girl or culture? What if a man fits the baseline but has no game? What if he is far above the baseline but has no game?
Yes it depends on a lot. Girls have different standards, different innate preferences, different options, different life situations, etc. The same man will be rejected by one girl and not by another.
Better to be skinny probably but why be either? Why are you even asking this question? If you're skinny right now you'd benefit from lifting more weights. If you're overweight right now you'd benefit from eating lower calorie dense foods and doing more cardio.

Inceldom is caused just as often by mental issues rather than physical ones. Maybe more so. Not every incel is ugly and a lot are just average looking guys with no confidence or game. So personally I don't see plastic surgery as an all-encompassing solution.

Low confidence is not a mental health issue. Notably, mentally ill men are disadvantaged in the dating market. It's so bad that a huge forum for people on the autism spectrum - wrongplanet.com - actually banned male members from posting on the dating subforum.
Even for guys with mental illness, surgery could probably benefit them. You can't make an autistic guy neurotypical, but handsome autistic guys do date. So if an autistic guy wants to date, it would make sense for him to become more physically attractive.

Low confidence is a mental health issue in that it's mental and it causes one to not lead the type of life that they would like to lead. Extremely low confidence in interacting with women is likely a symptom of social anxiety, which is undoubtedly a mental health issue.
but handsome autistic guys do date.
Lots of men who are not bad looking still don't have the confidence to approach or to have game with women. "Mentalcels" are a real thing, and it's not just about autism. Elliot Rodger was probably a good case of that, in my opinion - a guy who was not objectively bad looking (I've read many women on Reddit actually say this) but who still was somehow an incel due to his extreme social anxiety around women.
For men whose looks are an issue and who have few anxieties about approaching women, plastic surgery can probably help. I'm not debating this. But I don't think that it's what is causing every incel to be an incel, so I don't see it as some solution that will cure inceldom. This is the point that I'm trying to make.
Elliot Roger is a bad example - he's not an incel because he's obviously attractive and as far as can be gleaned from his manifesto, he never onced approached a woman.
As much as mentalcels are a thing, I don't believe that just low confidence alone can render a man incel. It has to be a combination of that and absence of positive attention from women.
[–]wtknightGen X Slacker1 point2 points3 points 5 years ago* (4 children) | Copy Link
he's not an incel because he's obviously attractive and as far as can be gleaned from his manifesto, he never onced approached a woman.
Okay, we have different definitions of incel then. Someone with social anxiety wants to do things but often can't because the anxiety is incapacitating. This is the category that I put Elliot Rodger in.
My own situation was much like his although I did make some very poor approaches to women who were probably out of my league. I'd like to think that I was an incel because, even though I'm not unattractive, I had no game, no confidence, and had (and still have) very bad approach anxiety, but if you think actual physical unattractiveness is necessary for inceldom, then I can't argue with you. I always thought that it meant someone who wanted to have sex, but for some reason out of their immediate control they were unable to have it, though.
It has to be a combination of that and absence of positive attention from women.
Most average to below average guys don't get positive attention from women by doing absolutely nothing. They have to make an effort to get it by showing that they are fun, interesting and confident. Many of these men succeed, which means that they're not incels. Many of these mens either don't succeed or can't succeed because they're too anxious, which in my opinion makes them incels, even if they are not completely unattractive physically. I agree that men who don't try at all and who have no underlying anxiety disorder are volcels, though.
[–]CarkudoThe original opinionated omega2 points3 points4 points 5 years ago* (3 children) | Copy Link
I can't really count people who have never even tried as incels. Anxiety is treatable anyway - if that's your sole stumbling block, there are tons of avenues to do at least attempt to fix it.
Most average to below average guys don't get positive attention from women. They have to make an attention to get it.
You do realize that those two sentences contradict each other, right?
[–]wtknightGen X Slacker0 points1 point2 points 5 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link
And plastic surgery is available. So there is no such thing as an incel based upon your logic.
Plastic surgery is available only to a minority of men, and there are many, many physical flaws that cannot be addressed with surgery.
But in general, you are correct - someone with physical issues who never tries is also someone I wouldn't really count as an incel. For me at least, a major point of incelhood is that it's out of one's control - and you can only find that out if you try at least a few times.
[–]wtknightGen X Slacker1 point2 points3 points 5 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
Fair enough. I suppose most of the men with psychological issues don't actually try to resolve them much, as the number of men who actually seek psychiatric help or therapy for their anxiety and depression is very small. In my opinion, your definition excludes most of the men who interact on the internet and who call themselves incels, however, for whatever that's worth, as I certainly think that most sexless men could be working harder to improve themselves.
[–]CarkudoThe original opinionated omega8 points9 points10 points 5 years ago (4 children) | Copy Link
I'm all for it. Look, I've spent over a decade in incel communities and incels' track record with plastic surgery is overwhelmingly positive. Few people get it, but those who do always seem to benefit from it. The reverse though isn't true - I've yet to hear an account of an incel who got plastic surgery and regrets it.
[–]Mr-X1fds = skipmeishas1 point2 points3 points 5 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link
Would you consider it rape if an incel does not speak about his plastic surgery and impregnates a woman who never bothered to ask about it?
[–]ChibsFilipTelfordd0 points1 point2 points 5 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
Or maybe it's not even dishonest if it hadn't come up. I used to be obese and my family has some bad bad fat genes. We have good muscle genes but shit fat genes, all the men in my family look like powerlifters, very strong but very fat.
I ended up losing about 70lbs and although all my gfs since have known about it, they don't necessarily put two and two together to realize my genetics on that front are shitty.
I guess it's more drastic with an incel and facial plastic surgery, but still, same concept.

I see a lot of incels blame their looks for their lack of success with women. Did you fall into that camp?
Yes.
Has being found attractive changed your perception in how you see yourself?
Not really. Other women still act repulsed by me, so there's not much of an incentive to change. I didn't need to change my view of my own attractiveness in order to acknowledge my ex's exceptional attraction to me.
It really seems that those kinds of incels have a really warped view of themselves and how others perceive them.
You can't really know. Those incels who post selfies usually have nothing particularly bad going on with them, but then again that might be the exact reason they're even posting in the first place. The last time I posted my face to find out whether I'm ugly or not was IIRC in 2009 on 4chan, and /r9k/ kept reposting it and laughing at me for like a month. And that was in the 2000's - the stigma against male ugliness and awareness of it have only grown so I imagine most ugly incels would know it's a bad idea to post themselves online.
[–]FrequentPangolin4 points5 points6 points 5 years ago (3 children) | Copy Link

Abnormal. I'm not sure how else to say it. You say in this thread that only looks matter and you say you are ugly but your wife found you attractive. How does that logic work unless what she finds attractive is abnormal?
You're an ugly guy (by your own words I'm guessing you aren't that bad) that probably thought you would be forever alone and you were able to find someone. Why couldn't anyone else?
Abnormal.
Oh, yeah, definitely. Her tastes fall outside of the norm since, well, she was attracted to me while most women are repulsed.
Because they just go through life and never meet someone who likes them? Either because such people are extremely rare or because there's literally no one out there who could like them. The former is self-evident since there are men who live their whole lives as incels, and the latter is theoretically possible and doesn't contradict my own story.

This subreddit talks a lot about Japan and how the West is heading towards what Japan is like (when it comes to relationships, sex, intersexual dynamics). Can I ask what is Japan like in this regard and why do you think people are saying the West is heading towards this?
[–][deleted] 1 point2 points3 points 5 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

[–]CarkudoThe original opinionated omega6 points7 points8 points 5 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link
The people are saying it because they're parroting stale memes about hikikomoris and Japanese work culture.
But it's not entirely wrong - the stats are there after all and Japanese people really do seem to date much less. One big reason IMO is actually women's standards and especially how easy it is to fall into that category where more or less 100% of the women you meet will be repulsed by you. This makes it so on the one hand lots of women are uninterested in pretty much all the men around them and a lot of the men either check out, get selected out of dating, or just don't pursue it that aggressively. It helps that consumer prices are pretty low here so people even with the most basic jobs can afford all kinds of shit to keep themselves busy and entertained.
[–]OldSimpsonsisbetter2 points3 points4 points 5 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

The number of those who don't is not insignificant either, especially not in Japan. 50+ year old incels are rare on the western internet yet, but 5ch.net equivalent of the incel board is pretty full of them. And that in a country with a stronger stigma against unmarried people of all ages AND a still living culture of arranged marriages.

That's not content - that's your characteristic of content, and unless you give concrete examples I cannot tell you whether or not I feel responsible for it.
Since you give me nothing to work with, I'll answer about attitudes instead. Do I feel responsible for the fact that many incels dislike women? No, I can't make that choice for them and it's not an unreasonable reaction - unattractive men constantly get mistreated by women, so if one chooses hatred as a coping strategy, there's nothing wrong with that.
Racism wasn't much of a thing on r/incels - unless you count the fact that incels acknowledge how in the west men of certain races are overrepresented among incels. But I don't see that as racist. The blatantly racist stuff of the 'x race are bad' or 'y race is better than x race' variety came pretty much exclusively from normies and especially IT members. The amount of comment with variations of "It's not my fault indians/asians are just unattractive, it's in their genes" comments from normies I had to remove was pretty staggering

Did she divorce-raped you? How your attitude towards women changed before marriage and after the divorce? What's your opinion of soy milk as compared to regular milk? How did you adapt to foreign customs and culture? Do you think not drinking/smoking/doing drugs is a major cause of inceldom? What other portals do you still follow as a wizard and ex-incel? Who did you vote for in most recent elections? What's your opinion about current state of society and where it's heading? What is the meaning of life?

Greetings to you to puny mortal. Shall I share some of my wisdom with you now?
I kept my virginity by simply never meeting a woman willing to take it. Some time in my late twenties I stopped actively trying to find one but then met my ex
Since meeting her I've also had sex with two other women, both times in a threesome. They were more interested in her than me though.
She didn't divorce-rape me.
My views of women have not changed. I generally still don't like women because they treat me badly much more often than men. I try hard to not let this generalisation affect my interactions with individual women but I'm likely not perfect.
The relationship taught me to be more vulnerable. Not just with her but in general - embrace my weaker and more childish sides so I can express them when appropriate.

It's a girl. I haven't seen her so I wouldn't know. IIRC they met at a climbing gym so she must be pretty fit, which would go against her usual tastes - all her previous partners have been chubby or outright fat.
What advice do you have to give to a not-yet-wizard approaching his mid 20s?
You do you. Figure out how to live your life so that you enjoy it. Adults usually balance personal enjoyment with the approval of others, and usually tend to lean too much into the latter. That's a dumb thing to do even for a normal person, but for incel doubly so - if you're an unattractive guy, and especially if you're an older single guy, many people are going to disapprove of you no matter what you do or how you live - they just hate you for being you. So it makes sense to figuratively show all such haters the finger and live in a way that you approve of and in a way that you enjoy.

oh I found your answer. how are you coping with your divorce ? how is your mental health?
Surprisingly worse than I expected myself too. I was always aware that the relationship could end and have thought about how I'd feel. Feeling sad was expected. Anxiety wasn't. Like, I've been dealing with some death anxiety this past years so I guess that's what it grew from, but nowadays I sometimes catch myself feeling anxious in random day to day situation. You know how sometimes you hear a passerby laugh and think they must be laughing at you? I get that much more now for some reason. It's just karma that incels get called out, since they were the ones who started being irrationally angry at others and spouting their idiotic garbage everywhere online. Calling all women chad-chasers, shouting simp at anybody who isn't a misogynist etc. Heck, several of them even started shootings.

they were the ones who started being irrationally angry
They weren't actually. The incel mythology of reddit specifically predates the site's first active incel community by almost a year. It's a common myth to assume that "callouts" are a reaction to incels' behavior, but that is simply not true.
[–]Kozak2216 points7 points8 points 5 years ago (3 children) | Copy Link
I like that it’s blown up because it actually points to what looks like a truer reason people are resented rather than other ones people would point at in the past. And it sort of points towards one way of resolving part of the incel problem, i.e. we recognize that society hates unattractive men so we self-correct to hate them a little bit less.
Do you have any reflections on inceldom from moving to Japan? For example people talk about Hikikomori prefiguring incels by a decade
I get what you're saying and carefully share your optimism. There need to be more voices calling out that hatred but it's still scary how swiftly society everywhere cracks down on them.
On your second point, hikikimori are an example of Anglophone internet taking a foreign meme and treating it seriously. I haven't actually read the thesis that popularized the term hikikimori, but the reality is that today and for the past 10+ years hikikimori had been used in exactly the same sense as the English word "shutin" I.e. you're a shutin if you're severely mentally ill and suffer from bad agoraphobia, but you're also a shutin if you're Bob from accounting, happily married father of two who prefers to spend the weekend chilling at home. And most shut-ins are the latter, not the former.
A closer group to incels are in Japan are guys called "modan" (or maybe mootoko, fuck if I know how those slang words are actually pronounced) They're the male counterparts to the female "mojo" which are a pretty well known... subculture, I guess? You can probably google better descriptions than I could ever give you. The modan/mojo dichotomy closely resembles the incel/femcel one, although ironically afaik the mojo formed their identity first.
[–]Kozak2212 points3 points4 points 5 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link
That’s interesting about Japan.
I’m optimistic about social forces maybe leading to society treating incel or poorly socialized men a little bit better. I’m not optimistic about it making it any easier for average men to date. Technology gives women so many options. It widens the difference between the lives of ordinary women and ordinary men rather than shrinking it.
I’m curious if you have any more thoughts on moving from a more western society to a less western one, and if you have any thoughts on modern social trends, i.e. more atomization and inceldom, or any countervailing factors that could lead to rollback in the future
I would absolutely happily settle for a society where unattractive men don't face any stigma and get the support they need (end of life stuff mostly). Even without improvements in dating, that'd be a huge step up.
I'm pretty bad at coming up with just random thoughts to throw out there. But if you feel like asking anything else, be my guest!

Has having a previous partner made you more comfortable around women or do you still feel like an alien around them?
Are Japanese women more forgiving of male awkwardness compared to first world privileged white women?
[–]CarkudoThe original opinionated omega6 points7 points8 points 5 years ago (10 children) | Copy Link
It's kind of a cancel-out effect. I'm more comfortable because of my ex, but I'm more uncomfortable because in Japan women tend to get more visibly uncomfortable around me. I'm definitely more comfortable in intimate situations, not that I expect to ever experience one again lol
Can't comment much on first world women. In my country women aren't terribly unforgiving of awkwardness, and neither are women here. A lot depends on the person I guess. One thing Japanese women can be really brutal about is looks, but first world women seen to be pretty brutal too.

So assuming you will go back to being a full time incel, would you say the relationship was still worth having? Or are you now worse off, knowing exactly what you'll never get again?
[–]CarkudoThe original opinionated omega6 points7 points8 points 5 years ago (6 children) | Copy Link
Absolutely worth it. I'm not handling the breakup as well as I thought I would, but even with that I'm light years better off knowing what it's like to be loved and to love someone. I'm a better person for it.
[–]fanofswords2 points3 points4 points 5 years ago (5 children) | Copy Link
Aww.
Question: what is it like to be in love? Why are people so obsessed with it?
It's just pleasant. I suspect that's how drugs like heroin must also feel - never done it myself though and don't plan to.
One other awesome thing is that having experienced romance made me that much more able to empathize with others' romance, meaning love plots don't bore and/or depress me anymore.
[–]fanofswords2 points3 points4 points 5 years ago (3 children) | Copy Link
Pleasant?
Is that what people are launching 1000 ships over? Fighting, dying and committing crimes of passion over? A pleasant feeling?
I'm so confused.
Yes. I wouldn't fight a war over love, but I get how others would. It's an addiction.

It's just completely untrue in Japan's case. Sure, there are women who want a white guy, but the kind of white guy they want is the kind of white guy any women would want. If you're an unattractive dude at home, if anything, you'll likely find yourself even more unattractive in Japan.

My views haven't really changed much. If I had to bring up something, I guess I sort of realized that not just sex and connection are important, but also just the fact of being paired with someone. The stigma against being a single older dude is real.

Well it's not like the majority of men can see a sex worker every week for the rest of their lives. A companion doll can sit in your closet and be there when you need it, whether it's for sex or closeness. Many men are already living alone and probably won't ever have a consistent source of physical intimacy. So it might not be the best solution to loneliness, but it is definitely a step up from nothing.

Great. That's not what I was talking about. I'm talking about the women single into their 30s trying to find stable men to marry. Which is what my original comment was addressing. Why should men in general try to be what these women are looking for, rather than just be happy and single with their dolls/other technology that substitutes for traditional relationships.
You don't have to be anything. You can be content with a doll.
[–][deleted] 5 years ago* (1 child) | Copy Link
[–]TLorrai2 points3 points4 points 5 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
Well the idea is that their base biological instincts would be satisfied through the technology. That doesn't mean they still can't go and have children. It's not like only some men would enjoy "sex toys" in general, while others wouldn't. It's just masturbation through different means. Yes a large percentage of men prefer to chase the real thing, rather than stay home, but that doesn't mean only one can make use of the tech.
I think you're making the assumption that if a person uses the technology they're automatically genetically inferior. While that may be a very decent guess, I'd say it doesn't account for the fact that anyone can use it. Even those who have their lives together. I think men and women in general can/will benefit from companion technology like this in the future. I'm excited to see how the dating game changes when both genders have easy access to the things they want most out of a relationship. Emotional intimacy might take a while to replicate however...

It's a bet really. Being loved, like genuinely loved, is awesome. But it might not happen and losing that love can hurt like a bitch. Well, first of all I live in Osaka. And people don't pick up women in high class restaurants, dude, what the fuck.
Women go out to places to mingle all the time - that's what bars and the like are for. I do love such places for the social atmosphere they offer - not something you'd ever find in my country. The thing is, just as it's easy to strike up a conversation in places like that, it's easy to refuse one. If you speak to a woman and she ignores you or walks away, what are you going to do, cause a scene? And that's the stumbling block for me - 9/10 women in informal situations refuse to even speak to me because my appearance puts them off.

Japan is not like Vietnam. The pros aren’t roaming the streets where the cafes and tourists are. Renting a karaoke room is definitely popular over there but if he is unattractive and has no game he’s not gonna get anyone to do it with him.
OP Have you considered acquiring an ex pat Chad friend that’s very outgoing to help you meet women?
That sounds like knowledge of Asia gleaned from PUA blogs and American comic books lol
I get what kind of establishment you're talking about. It's not high class and you're not supposed to do anything but talk with the girl. Any further service is at her own discretion and usually requires the client to be attractive. Also, it's usually not used up women but uni students aiming to make a quick buck. Even if I could theoretically get one of those to "go on a walk" with me, I'm not a pedo.
[–]gordovondoom0 points1 point2 points 5 years ago (4 children) | Copy Link
women dont like to get picked up in bars here anyway... except few places it is usually frowned upon...
Maybe compared to where you live. In my country the only establishments where it's at all acceptable to talk to a stranger are nightclubs, so even just being able to chat someone up is an upgrade. And I do know a few really attractive guys who make our used to make a hobby of picking up women in hankagais.
[–]gordovondoom0 points1 point2 points 5 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link
im talking about japan... except for some bars/clubs where it is acceptable to hit on someone, women dont like it at all... its the opposite... if they want to get hit on, they know where to go... the bars are for socialising and since nearly everyone is usually a regular anyway, hitting on them is not going to work of course... talking to women and chatting them up isnt even the issue, as fat as im concerned... never had any issue with that here and i would say i get hit up by far more than i would hit up women...
Dude, nobody fucking cares. If you're attractive, you're going to easily pick up women no matter whether you go to the Hub or to that stylish whiskey bar in an alleyway. And the vice versa applies too.

Nothing ever works 100% of the time, out of 100 chicks i talk to i may only fuck 10 of them, that means it has a 90% chance of failure, that also means i have 10 chicks i have access to.
That's my point - it's not guaranteed to work but RP communities tend to claim or imply that it is. I wish they wouldn't.

I've never gotten the impression that we believed our shit works all the time, i won't lie and say i haven't caught a few larpers in our ranks, but every sub has them. Although you never hear success stories from FDS.
The impression comes from the way your communities treat those who don't succeed. When someone does everything right and fails, he most likely will be told that he fucked up and did everything wrong. That's where the implied guarantee lies.

[–]CarkudoThe original opinionated omega3 points4 points5 points 5 years ago (4 children) | Copy Link
Met someone who liked me, and it was simple from there. When the mutual attraction, it just works, you know.
[–]bowserfire732 points3 points4 points 5 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link
I was hoping for more details. Since you're an incel I take it you aren't attractive, so how did you get a woman to like you when most were repulsed by you? My problem has always been trying to find a woman who is willing to get to know me, despite how I look.
how did you get a woman to like you when most were repulsed by you?
That's the thing - I didn't. She just liked me and that's it. There was no courtship dance or mind games involved. We met, she hit me up soon after, invited herself over, we drank and slept together, and that was the start of it.
My problem has always been trying to find a woman who is willing to get to know me, despite how I look.
That's always been my problem as well.

I'm honestly interested in what "incel flavored sex advice" entails, if you're offering.
What would like to know?
[–]Cimorene8634F Masculine Egalitarian Gamer0 points1 point2 points 5 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link
Well, I don't know what age you were when you first had sex, but I was 24. It took me a while to really learn how to do it correctly/not awkwardly.
If I could go back in time and tell my new non-virgin self one piece of advice, it'd be to stop over-planning every move and just relax more. What would your advice be?
The same actually. Spontaneity is key, as well not getting hung up on the small stuff. It's not a ritual and there's no right way to do it. The only right way is the one that's enjoyable for both of you.

How did you meet your gf/wife, what qualities were you attracted to in eachother and what caused the marriage to end so soon?
Was your wife inexperienced too orwas she a lot more experienced?
Were you honest with her about being/identifying as an incel and if so how did she react?
Do you think you rushed into the relationship/marriage against your best judgment because she was the first girl that gave you a chance/showed interest?
[–]CarkudoThe original opinionated omega2 points3 points4 points 5 years ago (33 children) | Copy Link
We met through friends. According to her she was originally attracted to my looks and then everything else just followed - we have a lot in common in both our aesthetic tastes and our ethical views.
She was more experienced. I was her IIRC second boyfriend and sixth partner overall.
We actually first met at a party where I, in a rare moment of wisdom and clarity, went on somewhat of an incel rant. We hit it off after that.
No, I don't think it was rushed. The relationship progressed naturally and the marriage was more a bureaucratic step than a milestone. On paper we're still married actually and will remain so probably until after the pandemic.

[–]jdobrila0 points1 point2 points 5 years ago (31 children) | Copy Link
After going from girlfriend to wife to divorcee in two years, in retrospect do you think she was honest about any of it?
[–]CarkudoThe original opinionated omega3 points4 points5 points 5 years ago (30 children) | Copy Link
We met in late 2016 so it's been four. Yeah, I'm sure she was honest. I mean, okay, imagine she faked all that affection, all the enthusiasm in bed, every orgasm... for what? It's not like I'm a huge catch in terms of assets either.
[–]Sewud2 points3 points4 points 5 years ago (29 children) | Copy Link
To be fair I faked enthusiasm and orgasms for years and it amazes me that men can be none the wiser. No, I didn't do it to trap the guy or obtain anything from him, he had nothing I wanted, not even a future with him, I just have people pleasing ways. For some reason men always think this is calculating. "If you wanted to please him he must have been hot." No, I wanted to please him because he was the one who wanted me to interact with him, and then it becomes a habit that I'm used to that person.
[–]ChibsFilipTelfordd0 points1 point2 points 5 years ago (15 children) | Copy Link

I mean idk how a man can tell the difference considering in my experience most women cum in the same way (PiV with additional clitoral stimulation) and unless they're over the top vocal, often sound the same way.
As far as I'm aware I've made all of the women i slept with more than once cum, and there was very little difference in the way they expressed orgasm..how exactly did you fake it and how exactly did you expect him to figure it out?
[–]Sewud0 points1 point2 points 5 years ago (14 children) | Copy Link
I didn't expect them to figure it out obviously that's the point. But men say they could tell and they wouldn't like it. They can't tell and they like it.
[–]ChibsFilipTelfordd1 point2 points3 points 5 years ago (13 children) | Copy Link
But men say they could tell and they wouldn't like it. They can't tell and they like it.
I agree that we can't tell esp if you're good at it.
I disagree that we like it.
We like the idea of pleasuring our partner. Not you lying to us about it.
Obviously if you're still having sex but faking orgasms then Orgasms are only a small part of the reason you're having sex right?
Why not be honest and say i love to fuck you but i can't come from PIV so maybe you'll have to eat me out afterwards but I'm ok not cumming because i still enjoy sex??
[–]Sewud0 points1 point2 points 5 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link
Imagine dating a girl who gives you impossibly shitty attitude pouting and insulting you every time you don't take her to her favorite restaurant. This is what dating a man is like, but the restaurant is sex. Dating a man sucks. There's no upside.
Dating a man sucks. There's no upside.
Lmfao okay sorry i even engaged you. There's no way to discuss with someone who actually believes this.
[–]Sewud0 points1 point2 points 5 years ago (10 children) | Copy Link
Because I don't care if I have an orgasm it's not the be all they think, but they get pouty and passive aggressive if I don't say I got one. It's just so they can feel good about themselves.
The entire sex with most men sucks and having sex is just so they can feel good about themselves. I know you can't comprehend this because you simply equate "if you're having sex you must be liking it". But no you do it because it makes the man feel good about himself and avoids his shitty attitude.
[–]ChibsFilipTelfordd1 point2 points3 points 5 years ago (9 children) | Copy Link
Because I don't care if I have an orgasm it's not the be all they think,
Thats.... That's the point
I'd get way more upset about you being outed as a liar than you being honest that you're one of the many girls who needs clitoral stimulation to orgasm
[–]CarkudoThe original opinionated omega0 points1 point2 points 5 years ago (12 children) | Copy Link

[–]Sewud0 points1 point2 points 5 years ago (11 children) | Copy Link

Have you ever been to a doctor to discuss your lack of progress? You might have a hormone or receptor deficiency.
Of course I have, more than once actually. Both hormone levels and receptors are fine. The symptoms don't line up either - it's only my muscle mass. My libido has always been on the higher end, I don't suffer from low energy much less lethargy and my bones are pretty damn strong - as evidence by an industrial accident I was once in.
One doc suspected I might have something he called Culman's Syndrome which is supposed to be some kind of rare genetic disorder that can cause hypogonadism even with normal hormones and receptors, but that didn't pan out either.

I don't know what kind of ostracism dark skinned women face, so I can't comment much on any differences.
On the second point - the advantage of femcels is that ultimately their grievances stem from a place of privilege. Their issue is about not receiving the kind of commitment they want from the kind of men they want. I'm not going to invalidate their feelings, but will simply say that from the point of view of a (former) incel, it's just difficult to empathize with. I quite literally cannot imagine being distressed over having a choice and it not being quite as good as you want, when my own life has been marked by a lack of choice and learning to make do with and enjoy what little I have.

Jesus. This is some profoundly sad shit.
[–]RelevantGrapefruit11 point2 points3 points 5 years ago (4 children) | Copy Link
It's not really that sad because "what little I have" ended up being a hot woman approaching, pursuing and marrying him and enjoying a seemingly happy long-term relationship, a privilege that very few femcels will ever enjoy.
[–][deleted] 0 points1 point2 points 5 years ago (3 children) | Copy Link
Pretty damn true actually. It's the difference between knowing that while you do have options it will never be what you would consider satisfying, and having 0 options most of the time but still having the possibility to stumble into something great.
[–]CarkudoThe original opinionated omega1 point2 points3 points 5 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link
knowing
The femcels don't know that though.
I would argue that they do. Not necessarily in a conscious sense, but there are enough tropes about the nerd getting the girl that it seems easy to internalize that and have it colour your perception unknowingly.
Belief is not knowledge.
[–]fanofswords-2 points-1 points0 points 5 years ago (5 children) | Copy Link
Ehh not really. He could always buy sex. He could buy affection as a sugar daddy, women cannot buy either.
He could always buy sex.
I've actually been turned away by a sex worker. It's not quite as easy as you imagine - they can and do choose their clients.
[–]UTC247 points8 points9 points 5 years ago (3 children) | Copy Link
It's like asking a starving man why he doesn't start eating people.
[–]fanofswords-2 points-1 points0 points 5 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link
Yet incels ask it of femcels all the time?
[–]UTC242 points3 points4 points 5 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link
No, femcels were asked to eat rotten hamburgers not people
I don't think that's even a fair comparison. Rotten food is inedible because it's dangerous - it will make you ill and won't deliver the nutrients, which is kinda the point of food. Men who don't meet a certain threshold of attractiveness are not dangerous - the decision to not date such men is a personal choice, not a circumstance out of one's control.

How do you feel about guys saying the bottom 80% of men are basically incel?
Its not the wording that matters, its the meaning behind it.
Look, most people lack the level of introspection to realise the fundamental cause of things, frustration in this case, and lack discipline to develop their vocabulary to verbalise it.
Its not that bottom 80% of men are incel, its that in the bottom of 80% of men, the sexual leverage that women have over men, becomes apparent.
Men arent angry at women because they are incel, they are incel and that is why they are angry at women.
Women having sexual leverage over men is quite literally what shaped every political decision to have ever taken place anywhere.
Men are angry at women due to this sexual leverage, being an incel is a consequence of that, not the cause.
The cause is the fundamental imbalnace of power between teh genders. Evolution "males compete and females choose".
Men are angry because of womens obvious mercenary behavior hidden under virtue signaling.
But dont take my word for it. Smarter people realised this a long time ago.
The boys quickly realize, once they start caring about such things, that the girls are endowed with all the sexual leverage. Boys try to get and use their own leverage -- status, popularity, transportation -- but that just proves who has the real leverage
I think it's an exaggeration but a fair one. I do think that most men struggle because women's standards are very high, but obviously 80% aren't incels.
As far as validating the community, you raise an interesting point. I've never thought of it that way, but I suppose it is counterproductive to lump the struggling majority of men with the minority that is more or less completely disqualified from dating, sex and romance.
What claims do you mean?
I haven't been gone from the community, I just did didn't post there because I was banned. Or do you mean here? Of so, then yeah, I've been gone a long time.
[–]BigBrianBrand0 points1 point2 points 5 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
I roughly agree with this answer about the middle 60%. It helps explain why guys are 2 years older on average in most relationships.

You're not necessarily wrong, but Pareto distribution only works one way. It's 20/80, not 20/60/20 or 80/20.
That's not a Pareto distribution dude.
