Funny you say that, my boyfriend is not only incredibly hispanic looking (He's spanish, still looks Mexican though) but he also has full sleeves of tattoos, and his ears stretched to 1 3/4 inch. He never even gets tickets. He gets warnings like 90% of the time. Last month he got WARNING for speeding through a school zone. He was doing like 35 in a 25, while the light was flashing. In a city right along the border.

So... I don't believe most of that cops are racist bullshit.

He's clean cut and dresses well but he's very dark/indio looking. Cops seemed to go out of their way to be dicks and would pull him over for seemingly anything. Police officers are absolutely hired for the public safety, but it's not your constitutional right to be safe at all times. The technology and funding doesn't exist for the police to be able to identify and stop every single threat on the planet, so when they fail to do so it's unfortunate but they aren't infringing on any rights guaranteed by the constitution.

If someone shoves a cop because he's angry or mad? You'd think he's an asshole.
If someone shoves a cop because he's drunk and someone told him it would be a fun thing to do? You feel kinda sorry and laugh a bit.
If someone shoves a cop because he just told the person her son died? You understand and forgive the person.

Someone's state of mind when doing a certain action is the most important thing when judging a person for said action. For the simple reason that it is true. It takes a very different sort of person to randomly shove a cop sober than drunk. What you do drunk tells much less about you as a person than what you do sober.

Intentions also matter. Shoving a cop because you think it would be funny seems a lot less bad than shoving a cop because you actually want to hurt him and that should be taken into account in any ruling.

I don't see how anyone could think otherwise when that's simply how humans operate. The action taken is pretty much meaningless when devoid of the context of intent and state of mind. Do you think the mother that shoves the cop should have as harsh a punishment as the annoyed punk that shoves a cop for ticketing him?

You can say ''if you can't handle your drink, don't drink.'' But that's just a silly way to look at things. It's commonly accepted among anyone who's gotten a bit beyond tipsy that getting drunk is fun. I don't think its fair to expect people to deprive themselves of drinking when the occasion calls for it. And in the event of people being clearly drunk it's only reasonable and human to acknowledge they are drunk and read their actions through such lens. I mean, anyone who's spoken to someone drunk is judging them differently by default. It's not something conscious, you see someone is completely shit faced and you don't think they've suddenly become stupid when they start singing some random cartoon opening song way too loudly, you simply think ''they're drunk''. Because it's true, and it's a part of society and it makes no sense to not take being drunk as a lens with which to judge a person's actions.

Went there for my cousin's wedding last summer. Took shots with my cousins before the ceremony. Tailgated in the parking lot before the reception. Each of us finished a bottle of wine during dinner. More shots and shotgunning beers after dinner. Then tried to hook up with my cousin's ex in a shed behind the venue but the mosquitoes killed me.

End of the night was us getting driven home in the bed of someone's pickup truck while we drunkenly sang Save a Horse, Ride a Cowboy. I woke up the next day with a ripped shirt, tie missing and belt gone with no recollection as to how any of that happened.

10/10 would go to a PEI wedding again. Y'all islanders can fuckin party.

That is incredibly false. Most women could fuck a man's ass up. Not even talking feminism; even a small full grown adult can fuck your shit all the way up, and don't you forget it. Especially if you add adrenaline to the mix - it's a hell of a drug.

The reason they all reacted this way was because of the general situation - she was obviously drunk/stupid/both, and not actually hostile, and then just confused. In addition, not only was the cop completely unhurt, he was unfazed and continued his phone call.

Edit: Not saying size doesn't matter. Totally does. But lightweights and women are not harmless. Also not saying swapping their genders wouldn't have changed the situation. But if you play that card then also flip their attractiveness, professional/casual attire, and size/mass. If a little gorgeous dude harmlessly shoves a big cop lady into a bush and then stands around acting confused, people won't immediately jump to lynch him, either.

A man with adrenaline will win against a woman with adrenaline 90% of the time. Most women simply don't have the bone mass to support muscle mass the same way men have. Our bodies go through vastly different transformations during puberty.

Some women feel stronger than they are because they've never fought against a man that's actually fighting them back in an unrestrained manner. But I assure you, it wouldn't be a fair contest the vast majority of the time.

Take even a muscular/bulky woman such as Serena Williams. Her fastest recorded serve is roughly 130mph. Whereas the fastest men top out at 160mph. It's not even close. There's a very good reason why you don't see women playing in the same leagues as men. Not even the strongest/fastest women can compete with the average professional male equivalent.

There are British cops that have guns. They just have to be well trained to use them. And I don't mean how to fire them, any dumbass can figure that out. I'm talking when and where is appropriate to draw and fire a weapon.

A quick google says that along with the UK (With the exception of Northern Ireland where police are armed), Ireland, New Zealand, Norway and Iceland don't routinely arm their police. There might be others, those are just what I found.
