If there's one I hate TRP and PUA'S for, it's for trying to change the acronym "AFC" from "American Football Conference" to "Average Frustrated Chump"

Easy, the men who say this clearly do not mean "average", as in looks(which is what really determines success in dating), they mean it as IQ, height, status and occupation, as in "I'm not the most popular, richest or smartest but I'm also not the worst in those things". It becomes very obvious that most if not all of them are way below average when it comes to looks and since people can only speak from experience and since they are "average" men, they assume this holds true for every man in the same position in life as them not understanding that their dating issues have only to do with their looks not their position in life.

As other comments have said, it's not true that avg men just take whatever they can get. I could have sex with a different fat girl every week if I wanted to. The scarcity is for women that avg men actually find attractive.

Average men “just take what they can get”. I hate this myth.

As a man who was hornier than most other men I knew, I frequently witnessed other men turn their nose up at women that showed interest that I would happily fuck. Those same men also have a much lower n count and absolutely no game. Never built up their sexual confidence and the difference is drastic.

Average men have more options than they admit, those options simply are just not attractive enough to them.

Average men go to high school and college parties and be a bit awkward but talk to people, join high school sports teams and get moderately fit, and end up getting randomly sucked off in a closet at the party and dating some chick they made out with and got a number off at a club.

They are not: Arguing about pills on the internet, using dating apps to find relationships, significantly developmentally delayed (which is a big problem for men - if your social development is delayed you will miss out all of the most prime opportunities for meeting random young women who are open to talking to strangers).

As an average guy, I have like a 70% conversion rate on irl from chatting to being interested sexually.

That doesn't mean 70% of girls I hit on fuck me. That's 70% of the single women I've hit on during night out have expressed their interest.

Men have a more “realistic” take on averages on both genders because we rank attractiveness on a 1-10 scale. Women can’t since do this since they don’t see ugly/plain men as part of the scale.

This is why is there is so much confusion.

The "average man" has dating on medium level difficulty. Dating isn't easy and they still have to put forth effort into finding a relationship, but dating isn't extremely hard either. Most guys in the average/normie tier, get their first girlfriend at a relatively typical age (16-20) and many will go on to have relationships with multiple women throughout their lifetime.

I would say 80% of men fall in the average/normie tier. The top 10% are your "chads" who have a lot of success with women. The bottom 10% are the guys who have little/no success with women. Many guys in the bottom tier wind up being romantically/sexually unsuccessful for long periods of time, and these men are much more likely to be virgins/no girlfriends, well into their twenties.

The problem here is the betafication of the AFC. The AFC takes what he can get. The interest he sparks in women is entirely arbitrary, the number of women and frequency of women he sparks interest and has sexual chemistry with is very arbitrary and most importantly he has 0 abundance mentality

Red Pill made an immensely valuable contribution to Western Civ by explaining to (Or maybe just reminding) men about the mating behavior of women in the really real world. And then it all came to this.

Most guys, of necessity, have to have some realistic idea of their prospects with women. They know whether or not they can get sex and what their prospects of getting it are. There is no "abundance" for average men, and the average men know it. I am not arguing for becoming a simp, because that doesn't really get you anywhere. Guys have to make realistic choices about what to do with their lives, and one of the reasons our civilization is imploding is that mostly guys do.

The older I get, the more I think that Red Pill is wise about women, but basically delusional about men. Guys read this stuff, and either they think that they can go from being an average guy to being Tarnsman of Gor, or they think they can get in on the grift and sell other guys on the idea that they can be Tarnsmen of Gor or whatever.

Sometimes the human condition sucks. Average guys have no abundance because they're average. Individual average men are weak, but collectively they are mighty. The prospects of average men will change not when they become PUAs and gigachads (Because mostly they can't), but when they act collectively to change the rules that have mostly excluded them from the modern SMP. Divorce and marriage laws are a good place to start.

Average men shouldn't be expecting to attract many women, though. This is the biological mechanism in place that keeps them treating women well and sticking around to help care and provide for their children. With more of an abundance mentality, many more men will take advantage of women than what already happens.

One could argue that women then have too much sexual power, but sexual power is not what women really want. The power to find a relationship with a high quality man is. And average women are just as frustrated by this as men are with the difficulty finding a sexual partner. One could even call them "Average Frustrated Chumpettes".

Don't we all take what we can get? Why isn't that okay? Why are other people's lives so relevant to yours?

I'm 24 and my boyfriend doesn't care about marriage, so what I had to do is take a look at what value marriage has to us, and we decided that if we do it we'll do it for practical reasons and we won't make it more of a burden on us than a benefit.

I'm taking what I'm getting and listening to what he feels and we're working out a life that fits with reality and is in both of our favor. And we're not complaining about each other like ungrateful tyrants.

It's a major problem but the alpha/beta/object-ification of humans in general didn't originate with women or even fringe feminism. Any women who "want to feel powerful furthering it." are a miniscule percentage compared to the number of men who push not just this sort of categorization but all kinds of black/white conclusions, broadcast accusations, 2 dimensional characterizations.

Even if its proponents are not limited to, it's definitely including "TRP and seduction/PUA..." philosophers.

You're right about abundance mentality, but wrong about how to get there. You don't f*ck your way to abundance mentality and respect. All you have to do is throw out the feminism. Well, you and the microculture around you, because this doesn't work alone. Men have zero confidence and act badly because they have been verbally and mentally abused all of their life by feminism. If you actually build men up, you end up with better behaved men who feel less like they have to grab at any p*ssy that comes within arm's reach.

I don't think PUA/TRP is the answer, but I think we need way more honesty with how humans, men and women really are. Red pill has some utility for understanding, but is crap as rules to live by. PUA is straight up trying to cheat in the game, and it pushes more a sort of a arms race in faking each other out.

We weren't meant to be in communities larger than a few hundred people nor have this much free time (to think), and as we are living in a global world, our traditions and instincts are failing us.

We don't really need each other any more for other than emotional and sexual needs and we attached way too much baggage and expectations to that.

We isolated ourselves by living outside noisy oppressive groups, which used to self regulate by hammering the nails that stuck out, and now we can more easily tell ourselves any lies we see fit.

And by living in such vast communities stuck together with spit and ducktape, it seems we sacrificed nuance and rational discussion, and started this us or them behaviour which is everywhere.

Similar to how men perceive feminism. You are either for or against it in modern discourse, why not something like - As a guy I'm fully a feminist up to version 2.5, I mostly agree with 3.x, but I think it sets some bad foundations, and I really don't like or understand version 4.x. What am I then? A simp? A misogynist?

Also due to all of the above, the AFC's chances are going the same way as middle class prosperity, as both prospered on tradition. Don't forget we have twice as many female ancestors as male ones.
