I could be wrong but aren’t Victoria’s Secret models known for being tall and skinny? Whether you find them attractive or not or question the ethics of Victoria’s Secret, I generally don’t think the models looked masculine. If the rest of a woman’s build doesn’t have masculine features, I don’t think tallness on its own is masculine. I think for a lot of guys, they just assume a tall woman wouldn’t date them, because women like to be with men who are taller than them.

Just a tiiiiiny bit taller than 5'9'', but I'll answer anyway - lol, no. If some guy isn't attracted to me because I'm tall, that's a him problem, I'm happy with my height. I also haven't really put in a lot of effort into looking feminine to compensate for the height - my hair is short, I have tattoos and I don't have a particularly bubbly or sunny disposition. Not to say I'm ugly or anything, I'm pretty decent looking and I can look very feminine, it's just not something I put consistent effort into doing.

And yet, my not-very-feminine self never had any issues dating. I did date one dude who was like 5'6'' and told me he felt emasculated because I was taller than him. I'd consider that as him being intimidated. In all fairness to short guys, he's the only shorter dude I've been with who was that big of a whiner about it, pretty much everyone else has been fine with dating someone taller than them.

A lot of men aren't interested in relationships with women who are taller than them, for the same reason that they're not interested in relationships with women outside of their culture: it's not something that gets represented often, so their perception of it (that relationship) as a desirable, enviable thing is low. In other words, they've always pictured themselves with a shorter woman because that's what they see most often.

Also, a lot of guys are insecure about their height and want a woman who makes them look tall.
