I find it outrageous that they can label anything a 5 year old does as sexual because at that age, male or female, they haven't developed their sexuality or have any concept of what it is.

And also, this is the kind of behavior that schools should be encouraging from young boys, teaching them to show affection and express their feelings, so they don't have to bottle them up and express them in any unhealthy way.

Anyone that sees a small child hugging or kissing another child and immediately thinks it's "sexual" has some serious mental health issues. This reminds me of something that happened at work. A female co-worker looked like they were having a bad day. I asked if a hug would make their day better. It looked like they needed one. They said yes; I gave them a hug. It improved their day.

A different co-worker saw that and reported it to HR. HR had a meeting with me where they said it was sexual harassment to hug a co-worker. I asked if they had even talked to the person I hugged. Nope they didn't. I told them I had explicit permission. They told me not to do it again. I sarcastically told them I'd never try to help someone ever again.
