Does it interrupt their fifty shades rape fantasy?

That’s quite a controversial statement to lead with I admit but it’s infuriating how there’s such an enormous chasm between what so many women preach and what they clearly want: whenever I’ve sought verbal consent even in the form of a casual question “hey I just wanna make sure that you’re cool with where things are leading?” during foreplay you can see some snap back to reality and they become visibly less aroused.

I’ve read a post where one lady advocated for seeking consent before every sexual act and constantly checking to make sure they’re still ok with it and aren’t just acquiescing. Either she’s a complete anomaly or moralising liar because if most guys took that approach their lady would almost certainly turn from Atlantis to the Atacama

Though it’s often downplayed or denied, it’s obvious that ladies operantly condition guys behaviour surrounding courtship and sex, and if seeking verbal consent is having a noticeably negative effect in practicum they’re going to have less incentive to do so, even if it doesn’t actually negate sex, the possibility that it might, or might lead to awkwardness as it has in prior experience would be enough to cause give some guys second thoughts about it.

And there’s the fact how many women (and men) expect their partners to be mindreaders who can intuit their sexual preferences and needs whilst they become a dead starfish refusing to communicate directly, and get turned off by being asked questions about what they like and how they like it

This seems to run parallel to the attraction paradox: “you’re a really awesome, genuine, good looking guy and any lady would be luckily to have you… now if you’ll excuse me I’m going to launch myself at a another womanising egomaniac and complain, to you, when he inevitably treats me like dogshit” Again guys are left conflicted with how they should be behaving, like being told you’re a star employee whilst a slack conniving coworkers gets the promotion

I understand that’s often just a polite means of expressing a lack of attraction but my stance on all of this is that hypocrisy breeds resentment and one shouldn’t preach what they’re not willing to practice.
