If this group was meant for women to be in it, change the group name from divorced men to divorced groups. I mean, why ask if we're ok with it? Hell no, I'm not ok with it. This isn't the 1st time that there have been women in this group commenting. Those of you who don't mind are more than likely the ones that will get married again and go through the bs again. I'm considering leaving this group. I mean, come on, damn.

I don't like, Just the other day a made a comment about a woman's post on here about men having lower standards. When I gave my personal experience as example, she trolled me trying to make me out to be the woman my relationship, after she claimed to be the man in hers. She has no f&^kin idea what she is talking about. Just another example of women invading a mans space.

Doesn’t bother me at all, as long as they’re respectful and vice versa. Most soon to be exes need to see how greedy they can be and how much strain it puts on guys everywhere. The amount some guys are forced to pay in alimony/spousal support is fucking INSANE!!! Seriously, what women needs $10k - $100k in alimony/spousal support a month for X number of years!?!

I don’t know, if a woman chimes in with some helpful input and wisdom, that’s all good. However, emotional rants about the patriarchy, etc. are not cool. I’ve got to say overall the posts on this form are generally respectful, in my opinion. Unfortunately the same can’t be said for the women’s specific forms I’ve seen…there’s a lot of hate there. Great to see it hasn’t been an issue here.

This group is great and needed. But it's slipping. It's the internet, anyone can post, and that's fine. I just block users that post trolling or gynocentric stuff. But it appears the mods are changing the rules, banning anything RP and most MGTOW content. I got a warning from reddit about posting 'identity based hate speech', and I have no idea what I posted that caused that.

The best I can figure out is that I said that women lie when asked about affairs 🤷‍♂️

The real problem isn't women or blue pilled guys posting here; it's entryism. They start to post and complain about the 'toxic' culture, demand rule changes, and enforcement. And then the area slowly turns into yet another generic 'safe space.'

If I wanted women's perspective on this stuff, I'd post in the divorce sub. I don't. I post here in the group specifically for men.

Safe knowing my Ex is not lurking or checking what I post.

One of my ex's friends used to stalk me on here and even made rude comments about something I said one time. She got banned pretty quick for that and I wasn't even the one that reported her.

They don’t need to be in this space at all

This has been a recurring issue in male spaces….

Once you start letting a few women in— they start tone policing & some of the guys begin mincing words + changing rules to appease them

Every other “neutral” space gets overran by women, where they push gynocentric-feminist talking points & men are kicked out instantly for saying something non-pro-female

The only comments I ever see here from women are defending other women's horrible behavior or something along the lines of "not all women are like this, I treat my husband like a king blah blah blah" The last thing anyone on this sub needs or wants to hear is an opinion from a woman. It would be like me going into a rape victim sub to provide a male perspective, and let them know that not all men are predators because I have not personally raped anyone

I am OK with women posting here if they are respectful of our community. We are men. We respond with logic and intellect, not knee-jerk emotionality.

Now, if they are coming here specifically for a debate, or turning everything into a debate, then ban the bell out of that particular poster.

If there was a Divorce women sub (maybe there is?), I feel like I’d have no business being on it unless it was to stir controversy or let out my resentment by proxy (ie trolling). If divorced women want to feel a certain way or say certain things on their own sub, feel free. None of my business, and I could care less. I’m not trying to fix the world, just myself.

And let’s be real. In general, this sub is for men who got burned and didn’t want their family to breakup, many who didn’t see it coming, or those who got hit hard with alimony despite the wife wanting out / cheating. The type of guy who cheated on his wife and couldn’t wait to get divorced so he could have ONS or marry his admin assistant probably isn’t on this sub, or at least they’re far out numbered by men focused on the emotional, mental, physical, financial pain of divorce.

And in general, older divorced women have larger real life social circles to discuss these topics. For men, options tend to be more limited since many men don’t want to “be in their feelings” in real life. When my ex left me, she had a platoon of female friends come to her aid, support her, even the wives of my long-time friends dating back to high school. She even kept our dog.

From the few posts from women in here, I think bad form is usually spotted quickly and called out for what it is. I don’t know how you block all women from joining a subreddit. Are we going to request dick pics before people are allowed in?

I’m also sensitive to the term gaslighting and think it’s too flippantly used to mean “you disagreed with me” or “your perspective lacks truth (or whatever)”.

I think some women can add good perspective here. And some can learn here.

I don’t see women gaslighting men here.
