So I actually agree that men should take responsibility for their issues rather than expecting women or feminism to solve them. The problem is that this contradicts the mainstream feminist claim that "feminism helps men too."

That’s the real hypocrisy here. On one hand, mainstream feminism and progressive spaces constantly say "feminism fights for men’s issues too!" But when men actually bring up their struggles, the response is something akin to your post. If feminism were truly about gender equality, you’d expect at least some level of genuine advocacy for male issues beyond just condescending lectures. Instead, what we usually get is apathy at best, and outright hostility at worst.

This post proves that feminists don’t actually want to be responsible for helping men—they just don’t want men to organise outside of feminism either. The moment men try to form their own spaces, advocate for their own needs, or discuss their struggles without framing it through a feminist lens, they’re labelled incels, misogynists, or "red-pilled." So which is it? Are men supposed to rely on feminism, even though feminists clearly don’t want to take on that responsibility? Or are they allowed to focus on their own issues without interference?

At least this post is honest—it outright says women don’t want to be burdened with men’s problems. Fair enough. But that’s not what mainstream feminism claims. It’s time to drop the "feminism helps men too" narrative because posts like this show that it’s nothing more than a marketing ploy.

All three examples paint a picture that men really don't give fuck about other men. Instead of expecting feminism, women’s emotional labor, and women’s orifices to come save men, how about men hold each other accountable and demand they up their standards?

All i know about this post is that it was written by a woman with nothing better to do and just wanted a quick internet argument.

Ultimately speaking your entire comment is wildly un-educated and sadly seeks a back and forth argument because you quite clearly have nothing better to do with your life evidenced by the fact how you spend so much time on reddit and presumably the internet as another commenter stated this directly goes against the mainstreams statements and claims that Feminism is for men so if you do truly want men to start caring about our problems and fixing them that means allowing them to abandon feminism and not calling any of them misogynistic.

Anywho you want men to leave Feminism alone but why is it that Feminism always complains when men start leaving it and then goes out of its way to attempt to gaslight the absolute ever living fuck out of the entire gender to attempt to get them to comeback is it that it fears us in some way? are we magical or something?.

No it's because the sheer threat of another egalitarian movement that has the capability to completely supplant feminism in its current state is more than enough of a threat to be considered utmost importance, the 4th and 5th waves are not intersectional and struggle to fix women's problems despite being dominated by women while all the men part of it are there for some level of attention or to be used as punching bags/meat shields.

Another thing I believe is if men really did stop complaining to feminism stopped complaining to women and all huddled up and fixed our own problems women would still complain about how their Husbands talk to their Male friends about their issues instead of immediately going to them and now apparently there is a female Loneliness epidemic going on that men caused somehow.

Ultimately Feminism is a flawed practice, a movement created to end Sexism Has sexism, to fix women's problems, seems to have contributed to the creation of new ones, and vowed to figure out a way to fix men's problems succeed in cultivating the birth of one of the largest misogynist spaces that the world has seen that spreads like an absolute plague and now it's fighting itself. First example, any legal issues.

The problem is that the political system only allows two parties that are both beholden to the rich to have any power. The solution, of course, is to change the political system and have a better democracy, but that's a complicated solution for many men with average and below intelligence.

Furthermore, both men and women tend to only have one or maybe two things that they really care about and ignore the other ways that their preferred candidate does not meet their expectations. All Trump has to do is be pro-gun rights and he will get the vote of many men who would otherwise vote against him. All Harris has to do is be pro-DEI and she will get the votes of many who don't approve of her administration's policy towards the Middle East or how much corporate money they receive from special interests. Both sides do this.

Second example, loneliness. Many men dont see the value of platonic bonds forms, which women kept saying is easier to get.

Because they really only have limited value. There is an episode of The Office where Michael Scott goes to New York, strikes out with all of the women he meets, and then declares that he has his friends and "it's not about the horniness but the loneliness". It's funny and sad because every man watching it knows how pathetic him striking out is. Most men would rather have a girlfriend whom they are having sex with and no friends than have many friends but be celibate. Women often do not feel the same way because of their lower libidos, and because they can find only sex easily anytime they want, which is why they don't understand how it is for men.

Therapy is expensive, and insurance usually covers it poorly. While I don't think that it's fair that men expect some woman to be their free therapist, the behavior is understandable when the cost is considered.

Nevertheless, i agree that men should realize that their psychological issues are not going to make them attractive to women.

Who is expecting you to fix men’s issues? Aside from a few selected posts by Red Pill/MRA men, there is no narrative whereby there is an explanation that women do this - men are not an homogenous hive mind; individual men have specific issues, and unless you have an established relationship with them, said issues are none of your business.

Where this narrative comes from is that a lot of women feel entitled to offer unsolicited advice on what they perceive to be men’s issues, and in general, it’s patronising, insulting, and all round terrible advice. So you can collectively butt out and mind your own damn business - because you’re not being asked to fix anything.

Exactly. This is the biggest reason we don't mess with feminism and shouldn't expect any help from them. They have a rigid worldview and dogmas of patriarchy, male privilege and toxic masculinity. They only see male issues very selectively - something that fits dogma. And propose their solutions such as "let men be emotional and cry".

We don't need to fight them unless absolutely necessary. Just develop our own movement, support politicians that are willing to support men. There is unfortunately a contrary trend a lot of MRA see feminism as The male issue, main enemy. And instead of seeking to fix discrimination they concentrate on fighting feminism.

As for majority of male rulers. This is a big mistake. Although among ruling class men are majority their interests are often contrary to the interests of other men. Top men can get votes of women (majority of voters). Get women buy the products of their businesses (women are majority of buyers). And ignore men, or even push discriminative laws against men. Because this benefits top men.

There are plenty of intelligent, reasonable women out there.

The ones who tend to try to "speak for women" tend to be the cooky crackpot ones who's advice you should ignore.

Yeah, don't expect BPD crackpot women to fix your issues. But plenty of women are perfectly reasonable and will give reasonable solutions.

We reject bad advice, but you shouldn't assume someone's advice will be bad just becaue they are a woman.
