I don't. I mean I've had a guy, he was 6-6'1, he was an asshole, but I didn't know that before dating him. I wasn't in love, I was horny. I wanted to lose my virginity, because I felt ashamed of having it. He was good looking. He looked fun, kind, smiled a lot. It was easy to flirt with him. Things went south and unfortunately I believed that I can talk some sense to him. I tried it multiple ways: straight face, crying, maybe even shouting as well, but nothing worked. I was thinking of breaking up, but he said he'll give me presents and we'll go to a lot of places in the summer, so I had hopes that things will get better, we can have quality time together, things will be good again. Few days later he broke up with me.

I wasn't a gold digger, he was an unemployed student , just like me.

I wasn't going after his height, I saw him on facebook, he only had a profile pic, then irl I saw him and I thought he was handsome.

He did have a big dick, although I didn't know that prior to dating him.

He didn't have an unrealisticly hot body. He was tall, yes, but he didn't have too much muscles or fat on him. He was around 80-85 kgs, had tummy fat, kinda muscular arms and legs, a chubby face.

I basically first found him hot, then thought he's a good sport, figured that he's in fact not and was stupid for wanting him to change.

The same goes for thinking all women are going to fall in love with anything that's remotely hot. Or even here where you try to say "all women go for the same guy" proceed to explain a literal particular type and say beforehand you definitely don't mean a type.

I don't want someone who makes 7 figures. They're usually massive douche canoes. I'd prefer someone with a career that benefits the world some more. That has some passion in it besides personal gain. 6ft is on the bare end of what I'm even willing to date. I'm 5'10, I like folks within a couple inches of me and I'm happy if its a couple shorter or taller. Hell I don't even like ripped dudes or particularly masculine guys, its just not interesting. And then even if we actually went into my type of guy, no I'm not just in love or interested immediately just because they're my type. I've little interest in most people, and your looks are only part of what would make me like you. You need a hell of a lot more than that. And even then, now, it'd be pointless. I'd never see that person as anything other than a friend because I already have my partner.

No. I think each women has a type and they like their type but what they find attractive is a venn diagram and their type will often fall into average men(lookwise ) but not most(majority of ) average men.

I have been instantly lustfully attracted to the guys I've dated upon meeting them, they were all < 6ft tall, average/below average income

They were steady financially though, as in had jobs and lived with roommates or family, not had their own house and lived by themselves.

TRP often has a really narrow beauty standard, IRL it's not that narrow, u do have to put in effort towards ur looks but TRP movement often exaggerates how much effort is necessary as well as overestimates the value of looks.

There are different level or attractiveness. There is the visual atractiveness that makes you catch their eyes, then there is behavioural attractiveness, then there is the values.

Maybe the brain tells us to look for more future proof or long term stuff in order to fall in love. It feels like a major hassle if you are going through a busy street and fall in love 30 times.

For me for love to develop there is a need for something more than just looks. It needs interaction and getting to know the person.

I’ve been in love with two men in my life. One of them was about 5’6”. The other one is tall, but was in my life for almost a decade before I fell for him, with absolutely no romantic or sexual interest on either of our parts beforehand. Both made less than I do, which I actively prefer.

I mean this so genuinely and kindly, but you need to go outside and socialize with a truly diverse group of people. If you’ve ever seen multiple real relationships with real people falling for each other, you’ll know that it’s messy, unprecedented, unpredictable, variegated, and genuine. Attraction has to be there but there's no one size fits all with attraction either. Its not just physical or how much money someone makes.

Im married to a bald 5ft 8 man and make more money than him. Which by superficial metrics used repeatedly online would make him unattractive. But he isnt. Hes the most attractive man I've ever known and my favourite human being in the world. Character is what matters to the longevity of any relationship. Two people with similar views of the world, morals and outlook.
