How is a Pandora ring expensive? They’re about $100 here. That not expensive. They’re not high quality or a piece of jewelry designed to last. And they’re overpriced for what they are because of the brand.

My ex did this. He put a Links of London bracelet in a Tiffany's sack and box. He embarrassed me at a party when a lady complimented my bracelet and said that Holt Renfrew is a beautiful store. I looked puzzled and said "he bought this at Tiffany's?" And she's like "oh no, this is a Links bracelet, not a Tiffany's bracelet. Tiffany's only sells Tiffany's 😉" I could feel my face going red (we hung around a lot of well to do folks) and she's like "anyways, let's grab some wine!". My ex lied to me about everything and to this day, I sincerely believe he stole the bracelet from his ex wife and found Tiffany's packaging and repurposed it. He was 32 when I met him and I was 20. I didn't know any better about a lot of stuff and unfortunately this is one very minor example. Bigger example : He'd pay me 10k for some work I'd do for him and then have me write him a cheque for $9,900. Lucky me got to keep $100 which often went to gas for our only vehicle despite being able to afford another (Audi q7) but how dare I have freedom and autonomy to leave when and if I wanted to do something! How simply dare I. Even bigger example: right before he kicked me out, he had me sign an "affidavit" saying I am not his girlfriend and that I am simply a roommate who pays rent. He did this because his ex figured he was supporting me and took him to court for more money. (If supporting is being a prisoner and only able to leave the house for groceries for his kids. I rode horses but his time constraints were so strict that once I took "too long" at the barn helping to clean up stalls and he lost it on me and didn't let me drive for 4 months, he said he had somewhere more important to go and that I should have asked to keep the car longer, despite not communicating with me that he had anywhere to be prior nor did I take a super long time. Lesson is an hour, tacking up and off is about 30mins with grooming... Then I helped out a bit. It was the only freedom I had so yes shovelling horseshit was often way better than being at "home" ("his" house, it was never "ours"). I was gone about 3 hours. I was down to riding once a week because of his constantly changing goal posts. He'd often give me a cheque for my lessons when I had asked him to give cash, since my coach doesn't have time to always run to the bank. He said no. This scrote didn't trust me with $50 CAD and once felt that I want riding, but instead cheating on him..... Of course this was projection becsde he cheated constsntly and I was told to move out to make room another woman!)

I bought myself a newer, nicer Links of London for myself a few years ago. I don't wear it all the time, but it's cute. It wasn't much for a heavy silver bracelet, and I don't have any charms because that not my style. I went to holy Renfrew in Toronto and bought it myself. And brought it home in it's correct packaging. 🙃
