I've seen a program on TV years ago about old misogynistic losers going to Russia to get a bride. It's was funny because the commentor barely hid their contempt. These guys truly thought they could meet a slave but came to Russia only to realise that the image they had of a 1800's Russia was not current reality. It's not that unbelievable that less attractive men can find transactional relationships in countries with a generally lower standard of living, but I'm not sure he has really thought this through. He's bragging about having a model-tier partner, but selecting your partner primarily based on looks leads to way lower marital satisfaction in the long term, for both parties. If she's totally cool with him having sex with others, she's not committed to him either, just better at covering it up (though maybe he doesn't care as long as the kids are his, since this is more of an arrangement than a love-based marriage).

Both parties will likely be miserable in a decade or so. For young TRP guys it looks like he has it figured out, but I don't think anyone else finds this impressive or a wise strategy for building a good life in the longer term.

I also don't get why he thinks more men choosing this strategy will remove any men we would have wanted from the dating pool. I wouldn't be compatible with anyone who even entertains the idea of choosing their life partner on this basis, so we will just have fewer creeps bothering us over here, and women tend to do just fine until old age even when we don't find a partner. In my experience, Russian and Ukrainian women are very crafty and they know exactly what they’re doing. They aren’t going to settle down to a life of misery with some fuckwad.
