Get a sweet car bed! 😂😂😂 Just kidding! I still have a king bed! And I got a bed frame that probably looks like it came from a porn movie! It was free!
Added some zebra striped curtains to the windows to complete the look. When I bring women home it’s a great conversation starter! 😂😂😂

King all the way. Same as all state, not going to always be single, kids come in and I have two big pups. Side note: if you haven’t bought a mattress online lately, it’s kinda crazy. They shipped me a box that was about 6 feet tall and 5” all around and when you unbox it pops out and over 24 hrs expands to a full size king or whatever you order. This is how they ship quality mattresses now. lol.

I bought a king bed after my divorce. An upgrade from our queen and also it was just freeing to me to have a sacred place after 12 years of emotional abuse

I went from a cot to a blow up queen to finally getting my king from our house (it was a gift to me). They bought a new full. The 4 little kids hate them for it because now all of the kids still get to cuddle with me in bed and watch TV and ex has to rotate the children out because the bed is too small for all of them. Ex prioritized themselves over their family and the kids saw it and resent them for it.

But the real answer is to get a bed that fits your life. It should fit the room, fit your needs and desires, fit your budget, fit you, and fit your life- if you sleep 8 hours a day, you'll be spending a third of your life there.

I went with queen. It wasn’t so big that it felt lonely when I was alone. It was big enough to accommodate a guest. It also had the added benefit of cheaper linens so I could go with nicer ones.

Queen. When we got our second house, we bought a super expensive bed. And at a certain point, she wanted to sleep without being touched so we ended up getting a super cheap IKEA King. When she moved out, I moved the expensive bed back into my room. It’s not for anybody else but me and if anybody shares my bed they kinda have to deal with that. I’m a pretty big guy too.

Every night when she was sleeping I would reach over to make sure she was there and okay. Took me a long time to unlearn that. For a long time I still reached out my arm to check on her and the reality set in that she's gone.

All depends on your journey. What do you want from life or expect from life.
I went from a king size to an inflatable single bed for a few months. Then a single bed frame with single mattress. Now I am up to a queen.

I want to rebuild myself financially- so, for a while, I am surviving on basic “what I need”

And it’s worth it. I went from $0 to owning 3 rental properties now. And still living in a basement apartment.

We slept in a old four poster full size bed for 22 years. It was tight, but we always snuggled when we slept. I kept the bed because my new apartment has a 9 x 10 bedroom. It just fits. lol

I have a king size bed and it's a good job because 2 years post divorce the cat distribution system delivered two male rescue kittens to me. They take up more room than my ex wife ever did.
