I’m a 43 year old female, who didn’t get married until I was 35.

Life is way better at 43 than it ever was in my 20’s. I have a good group of friends who like to spend time together, I have some disposable income to devote to my hobbies.

biologically, the mid-20's are the safest time for women to get pregnant and have a healthy baby. I felt like I peaked physically in my mid- to late-20's. Not necessarily in terms of how I looked, because I've never been a good judge of that, but in terms of how fit I was and how well my body functioned and did what I wanted it to do without pain or stress. Dudes who say that 'women peak in their teens' basically *want* it to be that way because they can't handle an adult relationship.

I'm not going to say "it's over" for them because they can still make a positive change in their lives but I will say that I can't imagine entering a relationship with any of them. Self-care is important.

Hell no!!! I'm in my upper 30's and honestly it's only getting better.

Socialization improved, I got better social circles, I get way more good attention and offers than I did before, most people actually respect what you say, I feel more comfortable in my skin, I don't get super butt hurt about as much anymore, etc. I don't have many wrinkles and still look about 10 years younger. Nobody believes me when I tell them my age because I still have a "cute" or "adorable" baby face. lol But as I got older, it turned more feminine and "beautiful", rather than "cute". I only wear mascara and eyebrow powder now and I noticed that more mature men (~28+) seem to appreciate that more than the typical lower 20's where I would do hair, makeup, and the works only to find the men I like looooove that I'm more natural (I don't do any fillers or any of that shit either). "Beauty standards" keep lowering the age to keep more and more people from feeling good about themselves. When people feel bad, they buy more. Just keep living your life, loving up on people who want your love, read self-help books to improve everything about yourself to become more "high value", work on your self-esteem, work on your health, work on your mental health, find productive hobbies, learn how to write better, etc. and you'll get to where you become a highly sought-after woman.

I’m 38 and while I may be “too old” for the lizards seeking teenagers, I am objectively happier and more attractive as I age. I also present much younger than my age (in large part to great skincare that I can afford due to being child free as well as the full nights of rest I get regularly for the same reason), date men who are typically younger, and enjoy a host of fun, exciting and invigorating hobbies. I own my own homes(s), car(s), and am overall financially secure. Most importantly, I am deeply satisfied with my life and no longer feel the need to add a man to it. I would be happy to make space for the right one, definitely, but it’s not at all the burning desire it was in my 20s because I have all the validation and worth i need without a partner.

OP, distance yourself from this damaging content- leave all subs and don’t even scroll post titles. Get that poison out of your psyche. Surround yourself with people who lift you up, and don’t suck you dry. Begin a new hobby or start towards a small goal. You will grow away from ever caring about this nonsense but you have to point yourself towards the light, so to speak. Dating only gets "harder" in the sense that your pool of options narrows as people within your age range get married and there are simply fewer single people than when you start dating in your teens/early 20s. Most people get into long term relationships by 30, so there are kinda just fewer options in that sense. When I was 19, everyone I knew was single. By 27, 90% of my friends are in long term relationships.

As for aging, yeah getting older will make you look older. If your concerned about how you're aging- simple tips like stay in good shape, get enough sleep, wear a generous amount of SPF 50 daily (I recommend Langeige, Supergoop, Elta MD if you're also going to wear makeup), eat well, drink water, get blood work done annually to make sure your system is in check. And lastly- reduce stress. That include tuning out of toxic online circles that generate the false notion that people "expire" or are somehow no longer eligible for love and dating.

There are lots of relatively easy ways to take care of your health, stay in good shape, and preserve your skin to ensure that you're not aging prematurely.

Anecdote- my mother who is now 60 is married to a man 11 years younger than her. He is absolutely in love with her and she never had ANY challenge getting attractive, successful men who have big hearts and strong characters to be interested in her and pursue her after my dad died. She looks younger than her age, but she's still a mature woman with signs of aging- and she was still desired and hit on, and pursued for relationships by numerous men when she was single and in her 40s.

I'd bet you'll be fine after 25.

Drink more water. Avoid too much direct exposure to the sun. Workout and eat right. Eat collagen (apparently many Japanese women do it and look at their skin). Don't wipe off sweat in general, instead gently dab it away. See how much difference that makes for your skin.

It can be harder to get a partner when you are older compared to younger, as you could have less options, but that doesn’t mean it’s “over” or it’s impossible to have a partner. People get married at much older ages all the time. It’s better to wait until you’re older if you are not mature enough to get married and have a family when you are younger as well.

This may sound controversial. But a lot of the best of the best partners tend to hook-up early 20s, and if they get married -- they marry for life.

So the biggest concern isn't that you'll get older, but rather the pool of quality people shrinks considerably as you get older. You'll still find great people who come out of failed relationships. But typically speaking, the career single people don't make great marriage material.

And I guess, this is 2022, so uh, some people don't care about marriage and just want hook-up culture. Then it doesn't matter. I think a woman of any age will find sexual validation.

Well there’s always gonna be a guy out there, but if you’re planning on having kids and a family its best to find a rich older guy (or a not so rich guy they need love too but it will be harder to raise a family that way) asap because 18-25 is prime child bearing age for woman. That’s just how it is until science fixes it. I think OP needs some life experience. If you begin worrying now at your young age about whether or not it’s “over for you” as a woman after 25, you are setting yourself up for years of misery and robbing yourself of youth before it even starts. You are determining your value based on external constructed criteria and mythical concepts such as “dating market value” made up by low value / incel men. If this is what you concern your life with, you will ironically age yourself prematurely and rob yourself of happiness and the actual “live in the moment” experience of youth. Look within and find your own value and worth within. And you’ll see the amazing things, people and experiences that attracts into your life.

Also maybe consider that many women over 25 are reading your post. It’s one thing to devalue yourself, but quite inconsiderate to do it to all other women, each with their own set of experiences (some of which include recovery journeys from years of pain/ self-devaluing / uncertainty about their own value because of these exact ideas that circulate on the internet).

How your skin ages depends on genes and how well you take care of yourself. My mom was 63 when she died but she looked like she was in her 40s only. By the same token, I know people (both women and men) who just seem to look like they age faster. Honestly very hard to predict. Best to just take care of your health.

Honestly, it's never over, your needs will change, as will your perspective, but there'll always be moments of intimacy. And arguably much more so than even emotionally possible in your 20s. So long as you're open for it intimacy and joy are a lifelong possibility.

If you're worried about your skin go look at the skincare addiction subreddit. It's not over for women, that's just something they tell themselves to feel better about themselves. "All those women who passed on me got theirs and I'm laughing now". You have to look at redpill as cope/rationalization for maladaptive, abusive and gullible men. The average age of marriage is like 28. If it's over for women why are men still marrying them? They didn't meet them all at 25 years old either. Like I said, if your appearance worries you, there's subs for that. But you'll realize in the end that looks aren't what's important.
