I’ll never forget when my ex said to me (in front of his friends, no less) that I better not be using him for his money.I literally said “you don’t have any money.” Cause honestly the man drove a Toyota. He wasn’t dirt poor but it’s not he was rolling in it either. We split EVERYTHING. Like so much his friends comment on it. So true! My ex (I broke up with him when I discovered FDS) was always too broke to take me anywhere. We went on a work trip and his boss paid for everything, and gave him the day off on my last day to take me out. I had to pay for most of the drinks and food! He said he didn’t have any money...

I also gave him $1000 to fix his car... he paid back half, said he would pay me back the rest the following week when he got his tax return. It actually took him another two months to begrudgingly give me the rest back.

Our whole relationship started with me buying the second round of drinks and him accepting that. When I think back, most guys wouldn’t dream of it the first few dates! Even multiple dates in wouldn’t even take my money. And yea, the rest of the relationship followed with me forking out more. He didn’t even have money for gas to visit me most times and was too lazy!

Oh on our third date we were supposed to go to the beach and his car broke down... so he cancelled on me. Instead of catching an Uber or putting in effort to go elsewhere he just said “I’m feeling pretty lazy how about you come over tomorrow for dinner instead.” I assumed his “I feel lazy” meant that he was depressed and feeling sheepish about his car breaking. No. Nope. He was just actually a lazy guy who put in no efforts. And ended up being a liar and cheat and gaslighter.

You know it. They use women as much if not more than woman use men financially, yet all these subs exist for men to complain that only women do it. You know “take half your shit”. They got the shit part right, cause most of them have shit to even take. They can’t even support themselves, or barely. They have no ambitions either so they claim to be going their own way but the reality is they’re dying for the love of a woman. I’m not one to look for money, I’m happy just getting by for now, but I’ve turned down more than a few guys with money so the idea that women would sacrifice chemistry and true love for money is absurd to me. Sure some women do that, when A LOT of money is involved, but no woman is going to get with Todd to try and steal his 2005 Saturn and prize silver dollar collection. Silly fools. Gross. My boyfriend is not rich by any stretch and lives very frugally but just the other day he gave me $100 and said he wanted me to keep it in my room in case I needed it because times are tough. He pulls out his wallet all the time to pay because it obviously makes him feel good. These cheap ass scrotes can’t afford sh*t, probably have no life skills and eat out all the time and blow their small income on stupid stuff then complain about women wanting dates paid for. We want dates paid for because it’s a system that quickly weeds out these types. I’m all for sharing expenses but if a guy can’t even treat me in the beginning, I know we aren’t going anywhere. Cheap ass men will be cheap ass men from day one.

At my last relationship (for about 2 years), the guy didn't a place to live and would not even keep a rented place for more then 5 months (He moved out about 6 times and now is living with his mother). No studies (has just his high school certificate) and no stable job, he work for some weeks or 4 months and the rest of the year just nothing. The only thing that he has is seat ibiza from long time ago that his parents gave to him. Well well, this guy would say that big part of the women in his country are gold diggers, he judges pretty and young women with older or ugly guys, he once even said that saw his ex (she is 24 yo with a older guy, he is 37 yo) and that she behaving like a prostitute. Also he belived that because I'm smart and study a lot that one day I would be rich and made me promise to buy to him a ferrari.
