u/pickmieshaexorcist recently posted about this as well.

This sub was awesome and made me cry happy tears when I found it; a community of like-minded women that have formed a safe space to share. That being said, in order to keep it a safe space, RULES EXIST FOR A REASON. There is a reason that the first comment on every post is a reminder to READ THE HANDBOOK. I've seen women saying things like "this should be in the handbook!" ... well sis, it is.

I find it triggering at times to see people posting disgusting messages from men, along with their unnecessary replies. This is not something that we need to see. We are actively learning how to avoid it. Ignore, block, delete. Ignore, block, delete.

Further to this... I've seen a few posts that highlight thhe mistakes that a woman is making. It is totally fine to bring these mistakes to light so that we can discuss and learn. But it is NOT OKAY to call these women names, to break them down behind their backs. That is not HVW behaviour. That's not what a sisterhood is. Yes, it's best not to engage with active pickmes who have no desire to change, but let's not beat a horse when it's already down. We don't know their backgrounds or what has transpired in their lives to lead them to perpetuating these terrible decisions.

Thank you for coming to my TED Talk! Love you all. Stay positive!

EDIT: Unfortunately I will be unsubscribing from FDS. I hope those who are so angry get their anger issues sorted. You'll never be free unless you do. You may be living without a man but sadly you still have to live with yourself. I've learned a lot here and I'm grateful. I found what I needed but now I'm peacing. ✌ good luck to those who are going to try and stick it out. Just can't stand the disgusting and hurtful bullying of fellow women and blatant disregard to the rules. Hope the mods see this!
