I've never had a man not pay for dates unless it was me taking him out for his birthday etc. Also ... none of them complained about it. Heck, even my bff her man will also pay for my drinks if we are out at the bar or something.

That woman is obviously model level beautiful and could easily get a man to drop money on her. It should be about the general imbalance women have to deal with - upkeep to staying attractive, taking care of a household on top of having a job, being often the main caretaker to kids. Also, I thought men got self satisfaction out of providing right?

Like men want women to have nice feet/toenails, very groomed or completely bare body hair, "natural makeup" look, no wrinkles, nice hair, nice skin and dressed in an appealing way. This is just things I could think of off the top of my head that are costs women pay that men often don't even think about for themselves.

My only beef was the men "want a woman that makes her own money, but not more than me". Like logically, why would a man purposely have a standard of being with someone that makes less than them and be upset when they're asked to pay more in the relationship?

Could it be because they want a woman to split everything 50/50 (but proportionally more of her income) and then be financially dependent and be controlled through money?

I'm not saying the guy in the video holds this view obviously but this isn't the first time I've heard it and it's bullshit.

Wow, this is nice to see! I love how he mentions that being nice and caring doesn’t mean jack. Love the callout to men- what DO you bring to the table? It makes me think that one of the reasons why LVM are ok with hopping from woman to woman is (in part) because they know that most of us bring sooooo much to the table and women tend to be hyper aware of what we can offer. On the other hand, I think most women (even pickmes) at least subconsciously understand that most men bring nothing to the table, so when they find one that’s “kinda ok” they latch on for dear life. I know I definitely had that mindset in my pick me days where I didn’t want to break up with my LVM because I was just glad he didn’t hit me or sexually assault me or murder me.
