I am an extremely pragmatic liberal, and red — the original red, not the blackpill shit trying to pass as maroon these days in ppd — tends to be pragmatic in contrast to a more idealistic blue.

i.e. I think anyone should be able to identify as anything or fuck anyone (this would be a liberal standpoint) but spending time and effort harping on bathroom rules is an utter waste of energy (this would not be consistent with the liberal agenda). Just go in the family bathroom if you’re unsure and use whatever you feel comfortable “passing” in.

Let's be real, in his own mind Donald Trump is the most red pill alpha male chad to have ever walked on the face of the planet. You really could make the argument go either way. To some Donald Trump is the epitome of red pill. He has the power of an entire nation at his disposal, hanging on his every word. The people of the US pay for most of his expenses. In essence, Donald Trump has made the US his personal beta bux.

The thing is, DT's life does not even come close to the life of the average person. DT was born into money. A ton of money. And that kind of money brings a ton of power with it. If any average guy behaved like DT they'd be thrown into jail or an insane asylum. But he's had the money, contacts, power, and lack an moral backbone to get where he is. So it makes the most sense for DT to act as a "conservative" right now because it serves his interests. When RP talks about "High Value Men", it's usually about making oneself above average in as many categories as possible since its likely that you started around average in most. DT was born and lives with a wealth stat value so high that he doesn't really need to raise his other stats. Simply put DT was born RP and no matter how you perceive him, as long as he has creditors willing to give him money, he will remain RP in his own mind.

Just as a final note, I'm socially liberal, fiscally conservative (doesn't mean I don't support tax sponsored support programs, just better money management) so color me whatever pill that is.

One of the reasons I bailed on the TRP shithole is it turned into an alt-right spinoff of r/TheDonald during the election.

I am as liberal as it gets, but also quite Red when it comes to the SMP. But I vehemently disagree with AWALT and the whole "Women are Children" meme. Although, fuck if FDS isn't proving that shit right on a daily basis.

I'd say, I'm in the same school as Bill Maher and Bill Burr.

I am a die hard liberal (believe in Universal Healthcare, Unions, Social Safety Nets, Gay Marriage, No Death Penalty, Etc) but I hate SJW / Woke / Cancel culture with the intensity of a thousand suns. Not because I even disagree with all of it, but because its makes liberals look like fucking fundamentalist nut cases to the rest of the country. It's annoying as shit and it's damaging the brand.

I also hate what it has done to comedy / movies and music.

I'm economically left and socially relatively liberal (but not like cutting edge woke twitter liberal) with some secret redpill views that I don't share with anyone I know IRL. Although a lot of redpillers seem to blame the welfare state for teh state of modern womenz, and I'm pro-welfare state, so I guess that makes me not a true red piller. I’ve thought of myself as a liberal since I disagreed with invading Iraq in 2003. But the current crop of liberals have shifted the goalposts and I believe most of my views would now be seen as conservative. My opinions honestly haven’t changed much.

For example, the left used to be pro workers rights. One of the ways they would protect wages was to have a strong immigration policy. It seems to me that it’s just simple economics that flooding the country with low skilled laborers will screw up the jobs market for uneducated people but this POV is quickly labeled as “racist.” The left used to have this policy. Just google how early labor unions felt about it; you can even find Bernie videos from 15 years ago with him supporting strong borders.

I also don’t think many people seriously believe Donald Trump is “alpha.”

I'm a lefty, I like to read and engage with ideas here. In our modern times, no one is fucking happy. Old people hate the boringness and staleness of the nuclear family, Young people hate the current dating culture and state of youth, misanthropy and aloneness are at an all time high, etc, etc. Sure, life might be easier, but theres still a fuckton of problems.

Most of these issues come down to capitalism shackling us to spend our youths in education systems that we don't care about, and jobs that don't matter. Capital also sells us sex, and a promiscuous culture that many people partake in. This is only a basic economic summary of what alot of people on this sub is saying. I don't have time. I might make a topic about lefty issues.

I just think women for the most part have their ways and you really can't do much about it. A large part of the stuff they say about women is fairly accurate for the women in my area.

Interesting you ask. I don’t think red pillers are very conservative people. I’m a registered Independent, but I lean right/conservative on many issues and topics, meaning most of my friends are right wingers/conservatives. They’re all very trad, family oriented, marriage oriented, religious (except for a few) and generally look down upon ONS, hooking up, PUA stuff, etc etc.

Yeah conservative men generally do not want big ole sluts but they’re still very blue pilled when it comes to dating and relationships. IME conservative men are more likely to pay for dates and take care of their lady financially than liberal men are. Conservative women want men to provide as well, while they have kids, cook, clean, micromanage shit.

It would make no sense to be red pilled and conservative ._.

There are people on TRP who think RP means following a bunch of rules and leading an ascetic lifestyle. Never "losing frame" and appearing "butthurt" are extremely important to such people. Such rules register with tradcons and other religious types. Whatever. RP is about sexual strategy, not living like a monk. Trump has had beautiful women throwing themselves at him his whole life. Trying to paint him as beta is prioritizing rule following over outcomes, which to me is silly. Rock stars are hardly stoic and ascetic yet they do ok with women.

Additionally, Trump regularly exhibits what RP would call alpha like behavior. Posture, body language, negging. This guy was clearly a super successful player in his younger days, the AMOG.

I'm neither pill because I see it as a false dichotomy and artificially limiting. I do have a few red pill ideas. Firstly, what women say they want and what they actually end up liking, pursuing, allowing, enjoying, are often very different things. Secondly, I believe marriage is pointless unless you want kids, and even if you do, it's still a fundamentally bad deal for men, but the ideal endgame for women, who get the security and perks of a partner permanently, but not longer have to put in effort to pleasing him, staying attractive, being sexual, etc, to keep him around, because if he gets unhappy, he's stuck unless he's willing to lose most of his life's work, most of his assets, most of his money, much of his social circle, and perhaps completely lose his children, all while incurring a heavy financial penalty for years to come that he must pay to her.

I consider myself genuinely leftist. It's demonstrable that Social Democracy is the single best system we humans have yet hit upon for governance of societies. Big, limited government that provides extensive services enables the comfort and prosperity of a people.

I'm also not a fan of Feminist past Second Wave, which was somewhat misandrist before the Sex Positive movement ultimately won (Don't fucking tell me Steinem, Dworkin, Solanas ain't misandrists, don't tell me that Political Lesbianism wasn't, either!). What the hell was Third Wave even about? UUuuuuuuhhh, rape is bad (fucking DUH!)? Far as I'm concerned, we have equality, perhaps even a little bit of balance overcorrection in favor of women., even outright dismissal and scorn of mens' issues.

The whole "we need more women CEO's" thing is on paper great, but we shouldn't be granting such positions on basis of body parts, and it's funny, Feminists are deafeningly silent about how we should have more women miner, loggers, cabbies, and so on -- they never want more women on crab boats, or anything tough and dangerous, but they complain loudly about how women don't have enough lucrative and glamorous positions. And before someone says "Pay Gap", there isn't one. Men tend to work more, overtime more, stay in labor more, ask for higher wages, and seek more lucrative jobs. The myth was born from averaging all the incomes of all men vs all the incomes of all women, no control for position, wage, etc, just a broad bulky clumsy comparison. We could use a similar comparison to come to the conclusion that the average Indian is richer than the average Norwegian, because there are so many more incomes in India that the lower wages, when not controlled for, cancel out vs the much fewer but higher wages of Norway.

Now, my "Blue Pill" ideas include things like: women are fully people as smart and rich as men. If a woman has sex with you, it's because she likes you and likes sex, you didn't hack her brain with your awesome "Game". No, a woman does not become a cock-craving beast after X number of different dicks. Cock carousel, AF+BB, 80/20 are all myths. There is no such thing as human alphas or betas. The Wall also isn't a thing. Although I do see some validity to Ladder Theory.

TL;DR: Feminism past the Second Wave is completely insane and is about trying to create female supremacist society since the First and Second Wave Feminisms achieved full legal equality. It's not mens' faults if women have failed to take advantage of their own efforts. And Red Pill is 90% full of shit.

I would call myself liberal red pill. Struggling is a part of living and sadly true equality will never happen. There will always been winners and losers. The best we can strive for is a stronger education system, encouraging entrepreneur/business creation and changing how programs like welfare work. Current welfare is designed to keep people poor, it should really be a program that helps people get back on their feet with job training and educational advancement.

I don't really see Dems as a party of Liberals or Progressives so much as a party of petty grievances. You could make the same argument about Republicans, but that just reinforces my belief that it's not worth the mental bandwidth to stress about US politics.

And while I voted for Hilary (pre RP) I absolutely understand why a lot of guys didn't and/or why a lot of people just didn't show up to vote. She was a terrible candidate and had a lot of trouble connecting.
