One thing I’m always confused about in these n count discussions is who is actually sitting up discussing body counts with people they are interacting with sexually or romantically irl. I understand maybe discussing exes and actual previous relationships but I have never been asked my actual body count by anyone I’ve dated & I have also never asked someone this irl like are yall actually having these conversations in real life laid up with your partners.

What is the overlap between the people who say:

After a 7 day ban, I'm still convinced that "body count" doesn't matter and isn't a predictor of relationship success.

Seems like most who are upset by a woman's promiscuity is because he's been turned down by a woman he deemed promiscuous. It seems like many think that promiscuous women don't have standards or expectations when picking who they have sex with.

A pet peeve of mine, when it comes to n-count discussions, is when some progressive person starts asking me for justification for why I care about it.

"But what rational reason do you have to justify why you prefer a chaster woman?"

"But have you thought deeply about why you care about it? What if the woman has slept with <arbitrary-number> guys when she was young and dumb, but now she's with you and only wants you? Why would you not want to date her!?"

"But what if she was this perfect woman who does everything you want and is basically an angel, but she got fucked by <arbitrary-number> guys? Why would you care more about those guys having fucked her than about how perfect she is?"

"You say that you just don't like how you feel about dating a woman who has slept around, but what is it that you don't like? Don't you have any introspection? Why care about something that doesn't matter?"

Like, man, I don't like it. I feel icky about it. Why would I need to do some deep introspection and psychoanalyze myself to unveil what deeply ingrained trauma made me dislike promiscuous women? Can't I just dislike it because I find it icky? Just like some people dislike certain foods?

I say this, but it's entertaining to talk about it with progressive people. Some folks seem to genuinely not understand that their progressive view is, in fact, the fringe view, and that most folks around the world wouldn't date some highly promiscuous person.

I read a thread yesterday where a 24 year old girl was feeling shame for having just under 20 sexual partners. The women who commented said ncount doesn't matter and many said they'd stopped counting. That's all fine, what bothered me was that one woman said that she should run if a man ever asks about her body count and then started to talk about how men tend to coerce or force women into sex.

It seemed like she doesn't understand that women also ask about body count. Since in my experience women tend to ask how many girls I'm dating or how many girls I've slept with or whether I've used prostitutes and then judge me for my answers. Actually a lot of women seem to think men aren't judged by women for their body counts.

Im not sorry about it, my time, my energy, my love and my resources are valuable, and such value wont be given to just anyone, is funny cuz in the past i was lonely and unwanted for no actual reason, there was nothing wrong with me and i was a good person, women simply didnt feel it, to the point i would even consider "loving" a high n woman, the thing that i wanted the most was a happy fulfilling relationship, not casual dating.

Girlfriend told me she used to work as an escort

Notch count is a factor because ultimately sex, and intimacy are intertwined. If someone views sex casually, that’s fine. It’s their freedom to do so. It’s however incompatible, to my viewpoint.

Would you be willing to wait until marriage for a woman who has had sex with 1 person? I had sex with my ex (one week before we broke up). We were engaged and our family already met and we were planning our wedding. I had sex with him because in our culture parents blessings are all that’s needed for you to be together and we got it.
