Oh I have a good story from a very long time ago

It's going to sound like a brag and it is a little bit

I was at a new year's eve party once and it was a total sausage fest. There was one girl that was getting hit on by like 5 dudes at the same time.

I wanted to as well but there was no way I was going to participate in that monkey dick measuring contest so I didn't do anything.

At some point, she went to the bathroom to pee and one of the guys "playfully" held the door so she couldn't get out - which I'm pretty sure was a very childish attempt at flirting, but she was laughing about it so it was okay.

Anyway I just went in front of the guy, smiled at him saying I needed the bathroom, and opened the door to get inside, closed it behind me.

Started flirting heavily with the girl in the bathroom and almost immediately we ended up making out.

We didn't do anything that night, but I got her number and we fucked a few days later.

Anyway, that was a victory for autism on that day.

Not even going to say how unflexible it is, and circular because you have to know someone else's league to determine yours and for that you have to know other's league to determine theirs....

It's very typical of a women to require the input of others to determine her own sense of self. This is why women think that 9/10 chad they slept with that one time is their set "league" forever, when in reality chad just wanted an easy hole.

But the point is, it means that men who claim that women overestimate their league can't make a statement like that. Men who say that they are objectively 7 can't make that statement.

Men can make statements about whatever they want, just like women can.

All those anger from men about women doesn't make sense, because if they can't secure woman (for sex or anything) that's just means they are not in that league.

Just like women who complain that a men slept with them, but didn't want a relationship after the fact. Just because a woman can sleep with a man doesn't mean she is in his league in a relationship context.

Id date/marry a high N count woman. I dont see # of sexual partners lowering someone’s intrinsic worth.

However, any relationship with a high N count woman I will make it explicitly clear that I only want something casual at first. I dont like casual relationships nor do I actually want one with her, but if she’s not willing to do something casual with you like she would with her past partners then she’s just settling for you and sees you as a provider. Once its clear that she is actually attracted to you to the point she’d do something casual, then id proceed into something long term/serious which is my ideal.

Is it deceptive? a bit. But i consider it vetting for a proper partner and a relationship with legit mutual attraction. Nightmare scenario is a long term relationship with a woman who’s unattracted to you, using you for money, and building up resentment for her oofy doofy partner.

Thats fair. If every woman had the same mindset where relationship guy and casual sex guy have to be the same level of physical attractiveness then I would not be worried nor do what I originally said.

The problem is that many women are willing to drop physical attractiveness standards to date someone they wouldnt hookup with.

If a woman doesnt do hookups at all then it doesnt matter. But in my original post I discussed dating hypothetical hookup culture women.

I think one of the biggest points of conflict in relationships debates between men and women arise from my next point. And it is the fault of both.

Hookup Culture Women seem to not understand that saying “he’s not hot enough for a hookup but id date him because of his job/personality” is really not the compliment they think it is. They arent able to see it as backhanded compliment BECAUSE men are too hesitant to admit they are insecure and want to be extremely physically attractive to their girl.

Why would someone choose to not have sex their whole life? That's just weird.

It's not weird, it's just how some people's lives turn out. It's fine that it isn't for you. Different folks.

I want someone sex-positive.

That's understandable, though I will say someone who hasn't had sex yet or is abstaining from it, be it temporarily or permanently, isn't automatically sex-negative. Sex-negative, to me, anyways, would be someone who thinks there is shame in sex, who thinks it should only be for procreation and not pleasure, someone who thinks parents or people past a certain age shouldn't engage in sex regardless of relationship status. Again, it's fine that it isn't for you, but different circumstances or views about sex as yours doesn't mean they aren't positive about sex, they just aren't engaging in it in the same way you are.

No, I definitely agree that someone abstaining for whatever reason would very likely be incompatible with someone like you who doesn’t want to. Incompatibility is a fact of life. There’s no way around it. It just gets me that when people can’t see a reason for something they often simply don't tend to look any further or acknowledge that someone else’s situation is just different than theirs and that’s all there is to it. The automatic reaction tends to be “I don’t live by that, so it’s weird.”, like when someone says a person or activity is boring when in reality it’s just a difference of preference and/or personal enjoyment. It’s a very black and white way of looking at the world instead of remembering that the reality for most things is 50 shades of gray instead of “I feel therefore it is.”.

You can argue that having literally any trait that might be liked by the opposite sex makes you a pickme/simp. You can call red pillers the biggest simps for so many reasons then. Really everyone is competing for the type of companion they want, we just don’t all want the same type of person.

Being aggressively skeptical of anyone who’s different from you is such an exhausting stance that it only makes sense it’d be fueled from a place of fear and defensiveness. Another man liking a woman that you have no interest in has no negative effect on your life. That’s just diversity.

Men will date a single mother if she's more attractive than he can get normally. Men will date a completely busted broke ass woman in debt if she's more attractive than he can get normally.

All else being equal men can still prefer single moms if they’re single dads themselves and want someone who gets it. There are also men who like lower earning women so that they can feel more like a provider. Because overall men want to feel useful and macho, but like I said it doesn’t have to be extreme.

The shy wallflower chaste virgin is often ugly though. That's the reason why she's shy.

Sometimes the woman isn’t even ugly but she’s just very religious or has severe social anxiety or some other social handicap. Read my comment again, never said it's the best for me, rather that it takes the best aspects of feminism and conservatism (which everyone thinks are fundamentally opposed to each other). It's perfectly consistent to advocate for women to be able to work, get [highly] educated, hold office, etc., basically give them opportunities to showcase their abilities—but at the same time disapprove of porn and sex work as an institution. The common ground being that women shouldn't be valued solely for their faces and bodies.

That being said, your theoretical social order appeals to me not because it'll optimize my sexual strategy, but rather that it's fair and consistent. I've been deprived of a chance to hookup and have casual sex, but my anger is more like at being duped (by a repressive upbringing) to "play by the rules" while other dudes my age were getting laid a lot. Having a great face is genetics, just because your bone structure was covered in fat and you lost weight, doesn’t change that fact. It literally is genetics.

That's absolutely not my opinion. It's very blindsided to believe this.

I detailed to you previously what made my face genetically average, but there is so much more to a face than the bone structure.

I am bald because high T but that also means I can groom a perfect beard. I have shit skin but that can be worked on with enough skincare. I have shit eyes but I can choose the glasses that fit me the best. I have piercings and neck tattoos without looking trashy in the slightest. My eyes are a boring brown, but they exude a piercing cleverness while my body language shows I'm a safe, loving person to be around. My nose is slightly crooked but that gives my face character.

I do not hold the exact same beliefs as those men but I think I understand them so let me try to explain the apparent contradiction since it comes up regularly in discussions.

There is such a thing as the imaginary ideal dating landscape for these men. The ideal women there are very chaste serial monogamists. They are the "Madonnas", women to respect. When a new virginal girl enters this dating market she vets very carefully. The men would recommend her to vet carefully as well and are okay with going through a slow-burner talking stage with her where sex happens late.

However, according to these men, our current societal landscape is the opposite of this. Women vet very poorly and are very slutty. They get pumped and pumped a lot which hurts them. I don’t think about individuals much. It would be more accurate to call my peak mental illness “aimless fucking around”, and then after a while I realize what I’m being like and temporarily straighten out a bit, only to eventually fall back into my habits when an opportunity presents itself. I believe that certain physical traits shouldn't be labeled as definitively negative; they should be considered in combination. Vibe is crucial here.

For example, smiling and cheerful chubby men can be quite attractive. However, if such a man were thin, it would weaken the overall positive vibe rather than enhance it and even look fake.

If a man is overweight but above average height (not necessarily tall), he appears quite bulky, although he may have virtually no muscle mass, which can still be quite attractive.

Short height can be a man's advantage because it can make him appear younger than his age. Being short can also have a certain cuteness. Women may be attracted to a man who appears younger, naive, and inexperienced.

So, I think it's important to understand that many seemingly negative physical traits can be combined to create a positive image, where this trait isn't a disadvantage, but even an advantage.

Why would it be homophobia? If two straight men kiss, it will be just as gross for most people. It has nothing to do with their orientation, it's literally just about the act they are doing. If a heterosexual woman sleeps with another man - that's gross even though there's nothing homosexual going on at all. In fact, it would be less gross if slept with another woman. Actually, it's one of if not the most common fantasy men have - to get her to sleep with another woman and him at the same time.

Basically, -1 is disgusting/repulsive, 0 - not attractive/neutral, +1 - attractive.

CROSSPOST FROM AN ASK MEN’S ADVICE SUB

I've been dating this woman for 6 weeks, she says she wants to take things slow with me because she sees long term potential, as opposed to his few previous dates where she admitted hooking up with in the first date. As a man would you take this in a negative way?

During these 6 weeks we've gone on 7 dates, we've been kissing since the 5th one but that's about it. I invited her to my place after our last date, she refused and explained what I wrote in the tittle.

I'm not even sure if I believe what she says. It's not something I would ever do myself ("I see long term potential with her, therefore let's move things very slowly"). I would get it if she was the kind of girl to wait for sex until being a few months into a relationship, but she's been open about hooking up multiple times during the time she's been on Tinder (as I assume everyone in the app does).

I'm starting to believe she's just not physically attracted to me and is just dating for the sake of going in dates. Any insights would be much appreciated.
