FDS peeps are just complaining about shitty dates and ignoring men who aren’t up to their standards. I have no idea if FDS is full of fat, LVW or not, but assuming they’re not fat/ugly, they have every right to ignore men that aren’t up to par. Good for them. But if they ARE fat n ugly.. well...

Shitty dates are common from men at all value levels, any man has potential to treat you like crap.

Even if they are fat ugly etc they have every right to just straight up ignore low value men as an option. The thing that gives you a right to ignore an option is willingness to take with good grace the consequences of ignoring the option... that might mean no LTR but so long as they can take that on the chin then fine.

Also, to be blunt, not going for low value men means a woman having the time and freedom to self improve and the constant reminder to self improve. Men are hard work and suck up time, and a low value man isn't any less hard work than a high value man is. If she puts every minute that would have been put into sex and hanging out with and pleasing a low value boyfriend into self improvement, while still staying present in the marketplace, she should see the acceptability of her best options gradually increase.

Well I mean you are what you attract.. it will be very hard to attract fit gym rats when you’re 230 pounds and stuffing your face with KFC all the time. But if you’re working on losing weight and picking better lifestyle choices, it will be easier to attract the gym rat with nice abs.

They shouldn’t be surprised or offended that they’re attracting slobbish men or low effort men. Men on dating apps are just poop quality. Most of them— I feel that being on a dating app means they must be socially awkward to some degree. The guys on there are low effort, I mean they’re fishing for girls through a matching system, rather than finding a nice lady in person. Ditch the OLD and look for men at quiet cocktail bars, upper class art galleries, wine tasting events, attend work parties/events, find a decent guy through a friend or family member.

I think it is always fair to be offended at a zero effort approach that doesn't even manage to be a smooth zero effort approach. And fair enough to seek to punish that. A lot of men don't learn until you hurt them.

I don't think the gym rats are really what the FDS girls are after... I mean they wouldn't turn down the abs just they seem rather more after highly paid betas with a little bit of alpha to them.

Personally I'm well past the partnering up era of my life and don't want to mess with a bunch of standing dynamics I've got going, so FDS is not a personal resource for me. But I do very much approve of the work done in the FDS subreddit, and am happy to hang out there and offer them any insights I've got that I think might help.

Well I’m not really a female empowerment activist.. I was raised differently and my parents set a different example for me than other parents did. My dad made enough where he didn’t REQUIRE my mom to work, she had a career before she married though. I’m not particularly career driven, I’m 24 and don’t know what to do, so I’m joining the military to let uncle sam choose for me. After my 6 year enlistment my bf wants to have kids so then I’ll get to be a mommy (which is a full-time job in itself).

I care about my boyfriend having a job and making money cause I don’t want to be the only one working, and he actually takes good care of me. In 6 years I won’t be able to be a proper mom if my guy is jobless.. living in a tweaker trailer park just cause it’s cheaper isn’t an option.

McDonald’s and fine dining are two extremes. You don’t gotta go to a $$$ french 3 course meal place. Be creative.. getting a bowl of pho or ramen is a nice date and inexpensive. Pho is like 7.99 a bowl at most places for just the rare steak variety. 9.99 if you want all the meat stuff in it. Not expensive. If a guy can’t afford a bowl of pho, then he probably shouldn’t be dating.

If the person is the main focus, then skip the fast food joint as a first date. That’s a terrible first impression. You can do fast food or street food but that cannot be the atmosphere with your girl. Pick her up at 7 and take a stroll through downtown or a nice park, to talk and whatever. That way both people can get dressed up, look good for eachother, without having to spend a whole lot of money on a nice venue. Walking thru downtown areas and parks is free.

And what is wrong with having standards for a high value man if they are a high value woman? Their “Prince Charming”, more like a barely decent enough man. It’s not a bad thing to have standards. People in that sub hold standards in hopes of finding a partner that is suitable for marriage and they would gladly withhold from sex with no problem. FDS: list normal things they expect from a partner as well as actual benefits & value e.g. respect, good hygiene, financial stability, non-deceitful etc.; they seek a partner who they can feel secure/trusting in a relationship to eventually marry (which there’s nothing wrong with expecting benefits from because that is the point of healthy relationships; to improve & help each other instead of it just being one sided)

It’s literally basically just women who would only want to give their energy into someone actually meaningful + just focusing on themselves & improving their life and not wasting time on men who are not worth wasting time on anymore (so basically men the opposite of what they look for: unhygienic, disrespectful/sexist/abusive, uncaring, no financial stability, all around just negative traits, just want to use & not commit or make the girl happy etc.) because otherwise what else do they have to offer & why keep them around?? There’s a book called Women Who Kill by Ann Jones that I read about in Female Serial Killers, which makes an undeniable case that Aileen Wuornos was not a rape victim, that many female domestic killers abuse the self-defense defense in court, and discusses that female sex thrill killers exist, that takes the slant that as misogyny rises and feminism rises there will be a swath of women leveling down to men- doing gender killings and serial killing as a reaction to misogyny or because they are Stockholmed. Personally, I find the whole FDS thing to be both hypocritical and cringey. Literally if you replace "male" with "female" and "money/commitment" with "sex" you get the typical pickup artist spiel. Then there's all the QUEEN and sis shit that just makes me cringe. Most of it isn't applicable to most guys I know. Just about every guy I know works, handles his own shit, and has at least a mostly healthy state of mind. They keep their living spaces at least somewhat clean. Sure, only a couple of my friends and myself know how to cook, but that seems to be a fading skill among people my age unfortunately. I just don't get all the ranting about "LVM" and "HVM." That's not to mention they basically have "plates" for dates and gifts. I can't even imagine what "HVM" would repeatedly take a woman out for dates and give them shit without getting anything in return, which is what they preach. I also can't imagine most of their philosophy working for anyone but like the top 10% of women looks and personality-wise. It just seems very cringey, gold-diggerish, and generally objectifying. I have followed the sub for a good few months now, so this isn't just some reactionary rant. I just don't see the difference between them and the more extreme versions of TRP.

So I'm pretty much all of that except having my finances in order, which I'm working on. I literally encourage my girlfriend (of two and a half years now) to pursue her dreams of being a profiler for the FBI. I don't lie. I help people who are important to me whenever I can, sometimes at expense. Blah blah blah, I fit about 95% of those requirements, and I'm still working on myself.

I repeat my previous statement with even more confidence now. No HVM will give and give and give while receiving little to nothing in return. My girlfriend and I have been sexually active since date #1, and I don't know that I would still be with her if she made me wait for months like FDS says women should. That said, we talked pretty much nonstop for about a month prior, so it wasn't like we were strangers. I have a high libido though (even for most men if statistics are to believed), and sex is incredibly important to me in a relationship. She was very inexperienced,and the guy she dated before me (the only other) was fucking awful in bed and generally a bad boyfriend. I believe that sexual satisfaction is as important as romance and emotional support. My point is that you can't exclude an aspect of a relationship for very long without it falling apart.

First off, I didn't say immediately. I didn't expect it on the first date, but I asked because of the tension and wonderful date we had.

That said, there's no way you can know if someone is the one you want until you have been with them for a while. Sexual compatibility is as important as romantic compatibility, isn't it? How would you like to be in a relationship where your sexual needs aren't fulfilled? I was very upfront about what I would need from a partner from the beginning. I don't do games. I don't lie, and I make what I want and need very clear. I expect the same from my girlfriend, and she's gotten a lot better about being straightforward and upfront (her parents had a terrible relationship. her insufferable father cheated multiple times, and her mom finally divorced him when my love was in 9th grade, so she has some trouble with communication sometimes). I will never cheat, and I assured her of this from the start. We have a very strong relationship that is currently being tested by about 2700 miles distance, but we'll pull through.

What I'm trying to say is that not every committed relationship needs all this weird testing and waiting and whatnot. It's okay to just dive in if someone seems great

The reason this is funny is there never was any MGTOW content on PPD that I know of. None whatsoever. No one ever bothered to link to MGTOW threads or indirectly address what they say. In fact, I'd say that everyone's attitude towards MGTOW is that of amused contempt(well, for good reasons)

But when female version of MGTOW appears, suddenly they're the new hot thing. Oooh, what did they say? What do they think? Everyone's acting like 12-year-old boys on a school trip, huddled in front of the girls' bedroom, trying to overhear the "girl talk".
