Like many of you in this sub, I became aware of the red pill when other people were referring to this sub as mysoynist, etc. From just reading some of the posts, at first I thought those people were right, but once I started reading the sidebar material, everything clicked. Anyway, I wanted to share a recent experience.

When I discovered TRP, I was dating a beautiful girl from Eastern Europe. We both live in the US, and while I always had a good role model in my dad (alpha traits), I applied some of the material here to my relationship with great success (maintaining frame, not tolerating the intolerable, establishing boundaries, being dominant on the bedroom, etc). I really liked that this girl preferred more traditional gender roles, and as I got to know her, I started to think that I might have just found a unicorn (as you all know they don't exist).

She enjoyed cooking for me everytime; we would have sex at least once a day; her hobby was making art; she showed great respect to her parents; her behavior was consistent with everyone she interacted with (friends, wait staff, etc); she was very sweet, loving, kind and humble; she would wear nice dresses and was very feminine; she didn't have her first boyfriend until she was 21 (I was able to confirm that since I didn't believe it), and only two more long term relationships after that (she's 27 now).

As with any LTR you need to balance alpha and beta behaviours, and I thought that I did a great job throughout the relationship.

After being together for over one year we started discussing marriage more seriously. Basic things couples talk about, like having a home gym instead of paying for a membership (we both enjoy working out, etc). I should mention now that I was working as a software engineer making $120K after taxes until about six months ago when I quit my job to start my own company, because that salary was ultimately not going to help me reach my financial goals and the work was very stressful.

I now make a third of that but my work is so fulfilling and best of all, I'm building a great foundation for the future. When we broached the subject of finances, I told her it takes time to build wealth, and that I wouldn't be seeing a big return until a few years down the road.

Two weeks after hearing that, my unicorn stab me with her alicorn and broke up with me. The reason: our goals no longer aligned, and she was not willing to handle the uncertainty of my business not having a big payoff. Mind you, she makes less than what I make now, with little room for advancement. Not that it matters.

Thanks to swallowing the red pill, the outcome didn't affect me. However, I was so surprised to see a woman turn on me like two weeks after telling me she loved me with all her heart while she swallowed my cum.

I'm now building my wealth one brick at a time with no intention to get married or give a woman my commitment, time, or resources. The benefit is just not worth it. It is true that a woman only loves the concept of you and how you make her feel. I equate love with commitment, so I don't see how marriage is beneficial to me now.

I won't tell people to not get married, etc. But you need to be aware that hypergamy is real. I'm glad things turned out this way, and that I was not left with any lingering questions. What I mean by that, is that this was my third serious LTR relationship and I feel that while it was a great life experience, I'm now a better man. If you want to get married, maybe you should start a business as a shit test.
