Muay Thai - it changed everything for me, discipline, my body and mental/physical health, community, mental toughness and clarity, confidence, testosterone, ego/humility etc.
[–]StereoFood 37 points38 points39 points 4 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link
Awesome. I’ve been wanting to try
[–]bvtmfdr 4 points5 points6 points 4 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
Do it!

Can you expand more on the T boost?
[–]MO_drps_knwldg 30 points31 points32 points 4 years ago (13 children) | Copy Link
Any type of boxing involves resistance training, which boosts testosterone. Push-ups, sit-ups, holding your shoulders up in stance, sparring, and drilling with others
[–]hotsaucebanks 12 points13 points14 points 4 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link
Thanks! I do CrossFit, but was looking into BJJ to supplement my training and learn some self defense. Would you say Muay Thai boost T more so than regular exercise?
[–]Skybear9 11 points12 points13 points 4 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
Either are great. Bjj is a good place to start if you have no training.
[–]MO_drps_knwldg 8 points9 points10 points 4 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
I would say exercise is only one component. Sleep and diet are also just as important. I take some supplements as well—boron, Iron, magnesium, zinc, vitamin D
[–][deleted] 9 points10 points11 points 4 years ago (9 children) | Copy Link
Then why not just do resistance training?
[–]truthbomb999 1 point2 points3 points 4 years ago (8 children) | Copy Link
Lol funny that the one actual suggestion for increasing T gets down voted
[–]maplemario 3 points4 points5 points 4 years ago (5 children) | Copy Link
What a stupid comment. Both will increase T. I would wager Muay Thai, in theory, would be better because it’s also competitive and you’re fighting other men, which should boost testosterone even more. Clearly the Muay Thai suggestion is another “actual suggestion for increasing T”.
*Coming from a weightlifter / calisthenics guy who doesn’t do Muay Thai.
[+]truthbomb999 -9 points-8 points-7 points 4 years ago (4 children) | Copy Link
Both will increase T.
No basis in science for this conclusion. The T increase from resistance training is very temporal and short and only comes from incredibly intense workouts like deadlifting and squats which bodyweight exercises don't event come close to.
Show me a single study that suggests muy Thai or punching the air increases T.
I would wager Muay Thai, in theory, would be better because it’s also competitive and you’re fighting other men, which should boost testosterone even more
Fighting men has nothing to do with hormonal responses to exercise. Do some research.
Clearly the Muay Thai suggestion is another “actual suggestion for increasing T
Great. I'm sure there are plenty of peer reviewed studies to support this....right?
Just say you are a pussy and don't want to train legs instead of making shit up to justify your own physical shortcomings.
Coming from NCAA division 1 lineman, also black belt in karate at 15 and multi sport athlete. I'll put my big 3 lifts up against yours any day, but the lowest number I put up is 300+ pounds.

Based on your self need to self-qualify and challenge a stranger to a lifting contest on the Internet, you also sound incredibly insecure
[–]truthbomb999 -2 points-1 points0 points 4 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
Lol nah, I have never been accused of lacking confidence...I just know my shit and don't tolerate abject stupidity and bad science
[–]cormacru999 2 points3 points4 points 4 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
Exercise gives a small boost in testosterone. Which does literally nothing to you. It won't make you smarter or stronger or tougher or better at sex or last longer at sex. You're all wrapped up in nonsense so people can profit off you.
[–]maplemario 0 points1 point2 points 4 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
Jesus Christ
[–]cormacru999 -1 points0 points1 point 4 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link
Its because its nonsense. Its a new fad where men make money off other men by convincing them they need to raise their levels. It doesn't matter what rats have been shown to do in tests. You're not a rat. lol
[–]Catmandoh 0 points1 point2 points 4 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
Yea but we have surprisingly similar physiology to rats with especially strong similarities in brain structure. This means we can reasonably accurately infer information about human functions and reactions to certain substances and situations by testing on rats.

Fighting other people and the associated andrenaline, high intensity exercise (especially of the lower body), smashing the Thai pads - you can just feel it during and after training. Great combined with weight training too.
[–]cormacru999 -4 points-3 points-2 points 4 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link
Worrying about your testosterone levels is really pretty useless. Its never been a factor until the modern era where the spiritual, not religious, life coach, health gurus all arrived. Its a complete waste of your time & they are making money of the idea that you need to worry about it. Your body makes testosterone & estrogen, the combination of which is part of how our memories work. If you get a pituitary tumor or Alzhimers, a dr might prescribe testosterone, but you don't need to worry about it in a regular life.
[–]hotsaucebanks 3 points4 points5 points 4 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
Sorry but I disagree. Men shouldn’t worry but they should be actively trying to optimize T levels
[–][deleted] 4 points5 points6 points 4 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
ooh I really want to learn Muay Thai
[–]Bark4Soul 1 point2 points3 points 4 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link
I want to learn a discipline and get back in shape. There are all kinds of kickboxing classes around me here but it's just organized csrdio kicking a bag. I want to learn to fight, seeks to be hard to find something like that here in Phoenix. I did Krav Maga for a few months but they picked who moved to the sparring. It was just more cardio most nights.
[–]bvtmfdr 2 points3 points4 points 4 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
I'd suggest a gym run by a Thai but if there's nothing near you, I would suggest Western Boxing, BJJ, Judo or Wrestling.

I normally make small talk whenever I’m at a grocery store or a mall. For actually trying to flirt, I do that at bars and clubs on the weekend. The more I do it the less I feel intimidated by women and my confidence skyrockets.
[–]Spobobich 245 points246 points247 points 4 years ago (41 children) | Copy Link
I've noticed I've been getting repeating glances from women since I've started working out. And I'm not doing "balls to the wall" hardcore weight lifting type of exercises. Just three days of running elliptical machine for 40 minutes. There's something about you working out that's like a pheromone women pick up on.
[–]LeftinthePnW 89 points90 points91 points 4 years ago (23 children) | Copy Link
Testosterone. It’s called testosterone…
[–]truthbomb999 3 points4 points5 points 4 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

[–]brrrrpopop 15 points16 points17 points 4 years ago (21 children) | Copy Link
Idk man. I started doing TRT 5 months ago and I haven't noticed much of any difference in attention from women.
[–]truthbomb999 17 points18 points19 points 4 years ago (14 children) | Copy Link

[–]Skylarias 19 points20 points21 points 4 years ago (13 children) | Copy Link
Idk why this is getting downvoted.
Testosterone makes it easier to gain muscle and get fit. But that's not going to happen unless you put in the work. 100 x 0 is still 0.
[–]truthbomb999 8 points9 points10 points 4 years ago (12 children) | Copy Link
Absolutely correct! All these guys think testosterone without doing more is going to change their lives.
[–]average_hight_midget 2 points3 points4 points 4 years ago (9 children) | Copy Link

[–]the_irish_bear 3 points4 points5 points 4 years ago (7 children) | Copy Link

[–]truthbomb999 1 point2 points3 points 4 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
The vast majority of men on trt or not aren't lifting. Almost no men lift and the vast majority reject lifting. Go look in this thread. Everyone is talking about muy Thai, BJJ, low intensity cardio, yoga, pretty much anything other than touching iron

What do you mean by doing trt. Like steroids?
[–]brrrrpopop 0 points1 point2 points 4 years ago (4 children) | Copy Link
I take 150mg of testosterone a week. That's a therapeutic dose. A steroid cycle is like 400 to 500mg a week. I still see nice muscle gains tho.
[–]Dannyhern13 0 points1 point2 points 4 years ago (3 children) | Copy Link
Do you inject it?
[–]brrrrpopop 0 points1 point2 points 4 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link
Yeah, into glutes. Butt muscles.
[–]Dannyhern13 0 points1 point2 points 4 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link
Bro I saw your comment about no attention from women and I have heard that synthetic testosterone is not the same supposedly
[–]brrrrpopop 0 points1 point2 points 4 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
Hmmm. As in some injectable testosterone is not as good as other or all injectable are inferior to natural test?
I still get attention from women. Definitely better attention since I'm looking better. But I don't think it has anything to do with them being able to sense I'm higher testosterone than before or higher than other men around. If that's at all what was being insinuated earlier in this thread. Like pheromones or what ever.
[–][deleted] 19 points20 points21 points 4 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

How long did it take to see changes in the body? Ive been running for 2 years and my body hasn't chaged at all lol.
You also have to change to healthier eating. I eat oatmeal in the mornings, grilled chicken, brown rice and beans for lunch, and fruit & veggies smoothie for dinner. I do relax on my diet on weekends, but I'm careful not to undo the progress I've done during the week.

As an experiment I’ve been curling as much weight as I can do in 5-7 reps, three times per week, with my left arm.
My left bicep is huge. By turning my body I can pose as a muscly guy or as a twiggy guy at parties.

For me nothing compares to being a musician. I’ve had moments where I’ve experienced what celebrities probably do with women where hot girls were approaching me and were heavily attracted. All because I was a talented musician.
There have been different scenarios, but the ultimate I found was to play improvised piano at small parties. It can be like Spanish fly. Being well known across a social circle for being in a band, or just having people talk about you all the time, that works too.
Of course, I never played music or performed as a way to attract women. It was always about just being a musician and playing. But, it really can have an effect on women if your talented.
Outside of women it has value in so many ways, it would take too long to list them all.
[–]Clara_Dolls 32 points33 points34 points 4 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

You’ve got to put yourself in front of people, try to make a connection with your audience. An Emotional connection is even better. If you do covers, make them your own. Just just develop and show your musical personality to people.
Even if you don’t have a ton of talent, it’s still powerful if you get in front of people and perform.

Do you perform your music in public? What sorts of situations did you have women approach you? Like after a gig, in public because they knew you...?
I'm curious if the type of instrument matters a lot too, I can play piano quite well yet I've found women where I live have never really cared in all honesty (I play because I enjoy it and not for women but I do post my covers on my socials).
I’ve been a musician for years, so it’s several things. But in terms of piano there is a style I’ve found to really make an impression on women while other styles, not as much.
If your playing pop songs, like billy Joel or something, it may not have much impact. People may see it as background music or just a form of entertainment. Kind of like a wedding player or restaurant player. It’s just background music.
But, when I would do 20 min improvisations, it’s highly effective. Mostly at small parties of 20 or so people. It doesn’t even have to be great. Think of playing basic pop chord progressions with your left hand using a sustain pedal, and improvising melody over the top. Truth is your timing can be all over the place, people don’t care. But it’s highly expressive mainly because the piano is awesome. It’s such an expressive instrument.
Try doing something simple like, Cmaj - F maj. just play those chords with your left hand, slow tempo, use the pedal, and improvise melody over it. That’s all the key of C maj, so stick to the white keys. It’s simple but can be very expressive. Throw in Am, G, etc.. just mix it up. And it’s unique to you and original. Put alot of expression into it. That’s what I’ve always done at small parties when there is a piano.
If you can get the crowd to watch with undivided attention, then get applause when you are done. That’s when women have really responded. They literally walk up to me with bedroom eyes mostly saying the same thing,”how did you learn to play like that” . It’s pretty incredible. May not happen every time and you’ve got to get people to actually pay attention. But If they do, it’s powerful. Again, the piano is so expressive it’s like Spanish fly when you can illicit emotions in the audience. Just practice improvising, even if the timing is off.
I’ve also been in bands as a guitar player and singer, and if you become a thing people talk about with enthusiasm, that social proof is also really powerful.
[–][deleted] 1 point2 points3 points 4 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
Absolutely true, but any knowledge or mastery of a craft or art qualifies as well.
[–]mivipa 0 points1 point2 points 4 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

I’ve recently become very poor, and my situation precarious. I’m on the verge of homelessness, living in a room I pay for each night with the day’s earnings.
99% of my stuff is locked in a storage unit I can’t access due to unpaid bills.
So my possessions consist of a few changes of clothes, a phone, a computer, a meditation cushion, and enough food to fill a tiny motel fridge.
Because of my proximity to the abyss of homelessness, all the fluff has been squeezed out of my life and aside from an episode or two of Dexter each night, my days are more full of discipline and purpose than ever before in my life.
I’m scared, but happy. And my conscience doesn’t eat at me because I never feel like I’m wasting my time.
As a result of this simplicity, I have finally (I’m almost 40) found a sense of traction in my life.
Tonight I took an Uber passenger all the way to a town in the mountains, nearly two hours of driving. There I decided to treat myself to a burger before heading back to Denver.
I asked the bartender how her night was going and she promptly worked a mention of her husband into the response. I wasn’t bothered because I wasn’t trying to do anything but be friendly.
Are my burger, enjoyed it immensely, and at one point the whole room suddenly quieted. I turned around and a very attractive woman was staring at me from down in the dining area.
Again I disregarded her. I’ve got no time for anything but making money and resting. Found myself debating whether to make conversation again with the bartender (my phone was getting bad signal so my reddit wasn’t working), decided against it, and she initiated with me!
That hasn’t happened in an extremely long time. I know she wasn’t after me at all, but it was gratifying to see that she felt comfortable talking to me, and that she could see I wasn’t chasing anything.
Just a small thing, but it’s been a long time since women have treated me as anything but a creep, and I know it’s because my life is so much simpler now. The simplicity has given me mastery.
During this time I’ve been extremely afraid at times. One hiccup and I lose any gains and if I miss one night’s payment I’m on the street. And in the midst of this I’ve had a string of small disasters that have threatened that slim margin of safety: one night the hotel charged my card separately from the hold, another time my neck suddenly spasmed and I lost a few days to sharp pains in my neck.
Through this I’ve repeatedly encountered waves of bitterness and hopelessness, and the only way I’ve been able to survive is to forcibly grab my mind and move it firmly out of those dark places. I’ve been able to practice having faith in God, in reminding myself that my life is an “illusion” projected by my attitude.
Last night I met with the family for christmas and this brand new neck injury was bothering me. Making me feel hopeless because if my health goes my income goes and I start sliding downward. (My family is literally crazy and so leaning on them for support is not a workable option).
I got back to the hotel 11:30 pm, tired, wanting to sleep. Checked my bank account: $5-ish. With horror I realized I couldn’t go to sleep.
But I let go of the fear. I decided “fuck this neck injury, I’m done fucking around here” and I did a few minutes of the best qigong I’ve ever done and was like “heal this shit now” and my neck felt alright.
I’ll stop with the details but paring my life down to the absolute basics has opened up the possibility of feeling truly alive and masterful, and I love it.

You are doing great man, your reality is what you make of it and you have already come to that conclusion well done. Second I know u feel like 40 is old but it’s not you can completely change your financial situation in 2-5 years. You are doing good working Uber and driving. All I can say is learn a new skill , do not think you can’t learn anything new. Dive into cyber security/real estate, learn about small investments like stocks which can build wealth from 25-100$ investments. The entry cost is exponentially lower now than it was in the past. Keep grinding, your mindset is spot on too focusing on yourself and not worrying about the opposite sex for now. Men can lose years stuck in neutral while still trying to get women. While others can kick it in gear for themselves and ignore the world they come out years later an entirely new human being and with new power and knowledge

All these teach you discipline, overcoming problems/failures, dedication, patience, creative thinking and in turn will bolster your confidence
Ps: these were 3 BIG things that improved my inner confidence. Other things like fashion etc can add value as well

I always dreamed of being a nomad but kept deferring that dream to finish my degree and do other things to make my parents and others happy.
Well one day I finally got my degree and it was very underwhelming. It finally occurred to me that I could very well live my entire life for other people, and never do the things I’ve dreamed.
So one day I bought a ticket out of my city and have more or less been moving around ever since (COVID obviously has complicated things but I still manage to be nomadic, I just spend more time in places).
I now speak Spanish fluently and have friends all over the place. I also have an unlimited supply of bat shit stories. It impresses people even though I don’t do it for that reason.

I do seasonal work. You can find such jobs on coolworks.com. I basically work 6 months out of the year and mostly travel Mexico and South America because it’s close and cheap.
Some people just go job to job and don’t really travel in between. Seasonal workers are an interesting lot.
Also before COVID I would do work exchanges like workaway (I forgot the exact url but google that and you’ll find it). Basically do reception in a hostel or chores around farm (random shit) for four hours a day in exchange for food and bed. Saves you a lot of money if you travel long term like me.

I swear i will do this someday tho
You should do it! Sometimes hosts don’t have that high of minimum commitments ie. you could get a gig for only a week or two or three.
I have a lot of anxiety too. In some ways traveling helps me because it keeps my anxiety occupied. There’s so much new stimuli, it can be a bit much at times but the thrill of adventure is one of my favorite highs in life.

Reading books! People truly start to respect you more if you often read books in various situations of your daily life rather than be scrolling on social media/phone or watching Netflix. That would be in the subway, in the park, in a waiting room… or even by yourself in a corner somewhere lol! also, reading is mentally challenging, and you became more eloquent when you speak, eventually you will start to write better and you also learn about different subjects like history, politics, philosophy, and human experience overall. :)
[–][deleted] 10 points11 points12 points 4 years ago (3 children) | Copy Link
can confirm. When I read books in trams, everyone looked at me with huge respect and like I was a freaking president or something. Maybe it can be a good way to start a conversation with a girl looking at you too

Great idea! Which books are best?
[–][deleted] 3 points4 points5 points 4 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
I like a lot No Excuses by Bryan Tracy. It's about finding that motivation and wisdom to solve your problems in many different areas of life.
Also The Millionaire Fastlane by MJ de Marco is a book with quite some wisdom and no beating around the bush stuff too, about how to make money as an entrepreneur but also how to treat clients so they respect you.
Though even novel/ SF books are nice, but that's a lot more subjective and depends on your tastes.

My game is best when I am seated alone in a booth at a quiet pub with a pint of beer and a book, looking carefree. The hard copy book sets me apart from the herd of people on smartphones. I look so chill and unthreatening, women will work up the courage to approach me. The book soon becomes conversation material. Works for me. Works for her.
[–]megnina 2 points3 points4 points 4 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Which books?
[–]megnina 5 points6 points7 points 4 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
From my experience, people (from friends, family to co workers) start to look at me in a more “respectful way” when I started to dive into the classics! Tolstoi, Dostoievski are some of my favs :)
But if you want to start with something to grow your reading expertise my recommendation would be Aldus Huxley - “brave new world”, was one of the first books I’ve ever read (I started to read late in life). It’s a powerful story that takes place in a distopian world, and although it’s was written in the 30s you can make a lot of comparisons with our society now, and get some pretty smart conclusions about our addition to social media & the internet for example, to then talk and discuss with other people about! This will make you look like someone who is interested and someone who reflects about the main challenges we face nowadays!

mindfulness. being overwhelmingly egotistical without it being obvious to appear confident. but a couple people see right through me haha.
i’ve always had unproportionally large tiddies. as in im 4’10 but have F cups. wearing low cut tops that are tight. i have seen people treat me a whooooole lot nicer.
who knew dressing pretty and being confident would mean people wouldn’t talk down on me 🥲 kinda bittersweet but it is what it is 🤷🏽♀️

Getting some proper fitting clothes. It gives women the idea that you have some sort of your shit together. I use to have loose fitting clothing, then bought proper fitting pants and it looked good on me. Then the same with shirts dropped a size and could see my own figured. I liked looking at myself more, not in a narcissistic way but in a way that gave me confidence.
Also working out as mentioned earlier, not full on balls to the walls TST, and roids, or creatine and 42069 different supplements. Working out on a level that gets your body going to gain some strength, mobility and also learn to stretch. Yoga is also another one that helps with movement and the hips, for good reasons.
[–]illumiknotty66 8 points9 points10 points 4 years ago (4 children) | Copy Link
Lol what's wrong with creatine or optimizing gains (balls to the wall)? Why half ass the gym? I mean you're already there, you're already doing the thing, why not do it well and do your best?
[–]impertinentramblings 5 points6 points7 points 4 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link
Art some point you’re going to be expending energy you could direct somewhere else, just a matter of priorities
[–]illumiknotty66 0 points1 point2 points 4 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
For sure, but if you're efficient, one with a busy schedule with a lot going on can still optimize gains. I mean, I see people like The Rock and Alex Hormozi who are type A productive personalities who still hit the gym hard with a very busy life
[–]Alextryingforgrate 3 points4 points5 points 4 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link
Because not everyone is looking to get jacked. They just want to lose some weight and not go full juice monkey. So that to you is half assing it?
There's more to fitness then just getting jacked and that's a lot harder to do then you think, it wouldn't happen on accident

Another thing most people don’t think about is learning how to alter you own clothes. It’s a hobby that makes you look amazing because you can experiment on cheap t-shirts and find what makes you look your best.
All you need is a sewing machine. There are YouTube channels dedicated to this, and a few that are specific to men. It’s easy to learn as well.
As far as buying fitted clothes, keep in mind you can order online and return to a local store if you have one close by. Or just exchange/return online. You can experiment to find your best fit.

Working out. When you know you look good it changes the confidence you walk around with. Plus it gives you a better frame and posture so your body language is better. Just do two compound exercises every session with 3-4 sessions a week. Have an accountability group (friends, siblings, etc) so you remain consistent

Learning how to swing dance. You get really really really comfortable holding, picking up, knowing where to put your hands on a lady without it ever being awkward. Plus, having the skill to just ask a girl to dance and also knowing how to do it correctly, girls find impressive.
It's also a great way to meet people. Go to lessons, usually they will rotate everyone and you get to dance with dozens of different people, plus, nobody is really trying to pick up girls and people are pretty chill and just having fun and learning.

I have embraced positivity and reinforced my credo of giving back. I do well in life and I have been blessed with beautiful children and a lot of enjoyment.
Today I am taking my sons to a homeless shelter with my social group which I help lead. Most people are bringing food. I cleared out Costco of their fleece blankets the other day and we are bringing those to be handed out to people so they can have a warm blanket here in the winter. It’s not much but if everyone does something the load will be lighter for those that are overburdened.

1) workout , the confidence boost from knowing the discipline and dedication you put towards sculpting your body into your vision is infinitely better the how heavy your wallet is. plus it makes you “different” from the average guy. 2) expand your interests. in a social setting, if you have anything interesting to talk about. (a new podcast you listened to, a new movie, literally anything thats “new” or niche”. is something you can talk about, if you know 5% more then the person youre talking to, you just seem smarter by default

I became more confident (& ergo more attractive) when I realized it’s okay to be a little self-indulgent. Getting a new haircut, a massage or my nails done always makes me look better, but also gives me a more positive feeling of self-worth. Buying a good bra (for the folks that need it) does wonders for your posture, your confidence & can also alleviate pains in your back or shoulders…not to mention the fact that it puts a little pep in my step knowing how good my girls look! And for the folks that don’t need a new bra, do something that gives you the BDE you need to be confident, but not arrogant. I think spending a little money on whatever makes you feel like the best version of yourself is the perfect way to show the world you value you, so they should too. ❤️❤️❤️

physically attractive: hitting the gym, working on my fashion(clothing, cologne, hairstyle, accessories, etc.)
financially attractive: focusing on my career by creating short term and long term goals and trying to meet those goals every day
emotionally/mentally attractive: working on my mental game through positive affirmations and only consuming positive/motivational media, going out alone and talking to as many people as possible (helps build your charisma and self confidence)

Exercise is the common one, but reading is another crucial hobby that builds confidence. Learning a new skill. Something like programming, trading, cyber security, real estate. When you learn a new skill that can build wealth your confidence in yourself will skyrocket, you will become more aware of full potential to grow again. And reading gives you this knowledge that is undeniable, when you know something to be real and true nobody can take away your confidence when speaking about that subject and that gives you power. Something that builds attraction not just for the opposite sex but also respect from people who listen to you and they understand you know more so they lean towards you as well. TLDR : build your brain and body. Making those your hobbies will give you confidence and build attraction, women love to be taught new things.

Through building my business that I sold for 9 figures, I spoke to so many people (clients and partners) which allowed me to build unrelenting confidence. It also allowed me to deal with any setbacks and not be upset by them.
This has directly flowed onto my dating life. I have no fear at all about rejection and am very comfortable to walk away if they aren’t the right person to be with.
Health and fitness is also a big one. This keeps your mind sharp and in the right space to be making sound decisions. This, of course, is nothing new.
The big one is learning to fail and becoming comfortable with it. In fact becoming comfortable with being uncomfortable made the biggest positive changes in my life. So many people avoid pain, so if you want to succeed in any facet of your life, embrace discomfort..

It's completely overhauled everything about me; not just appearance wise but my personality, approach to life, etc.
I'm much more confident in myself (not just with women but in any endeavour I undertake - e.g. exams, job interviews), have much better self-image, better posture, more flirtatious with women, I have a positive growth mindset now, my mental endurance is a lot stronger, testosterone levels are much higher.

You are who you socialise with most. Finding like minded people has helped me significantly. I've taken private dance classes this year and I've learned a lot on how to talk to women from him. He's been really good at showing me where women's boundaries are and has really got me out of my shell and more relaxed.

Similar but different, I went to my first rave at 49 and fell in love with EDM and dancing changed my life. No instructor necessary, I just needed to learn to be comfortable expressing myself in my body and then I found myself with more confidence, less self consciousness, a larger circle of friends, and more available women in my life than ever before. I had more sexual partners in my 53rd year than I had in all of my 20s combined.

I think that’s all in the eye of the beholder to be honest. I think as individuals we need to find things that make our souls feel more complete. Not necessarily to be attracted by others, but to understand ourselves. So when we do come into contact with other people, we are our full authentic selves. Then you’re more capable of attracting people that will truly value who you are. Some will like it and some won’t.

Psychology has added so much to my life, game, and insight. Marital arts training has also added a lot.
But this idea that the way to get laid is to earn girls' affection by self development and logically appealing to what women "should" want is blue pilled bullshit. There are many ways to pick a lock/seduce a chick, and blue pill is just one of them. And not a good one at that.

Learn another language, play an instrument, master a craft, read books, get in shape, keep a positive attitude, talk to people and don't be afraid to be loud. Ask questions. Everyone knows something you don't, and you know something they don't. When people try to act superior, ask them something they don't know (or tell them). When they seem to feel inferior, find out what they know that you don't. Everyone and everything is interesting. Find out how.

Dancing. I never danced until I was 49, when I was at a festival, the right group of new friends with the right music helped me lose my self consciousness and just thoroughly fall in love with EDM. That night changed my life forever. I started going dancing once or twice a month at festivals, raves, nightclubs, and ecstatic dance events. My circle of friends became younger and larger and I lost 12 pounds over the first year while my endurance made it possible to dance for hours without stopping.

Playing guitar. Wood turning, Krav Maga, volunteering, donating blood, growing my hair to donate to kids with cancer, donating bone marrow, stone cutting/sculpting, gardening, DIY repairing my own vehicle and recording original music.
These all make me way more attractive and are extremely rewarding. Try as many as you like.

Wasn’t expecting to even get into it, but spin cycle classes, learning how to do makeup, watching and reading more. Some things that have remained constant and added value has been music career and developing my instruments, piano, and voice! Thinking before speaking. Reading the Bible. Getting connected with likeminded people. Building solid foundations and friendships with those in my life, and have grown to love and admire, but also stay consistent. Social media app I recommend has been Snapchat, and learning the ways of iPhone. Making healthy choices with food, creating and following through with goals, giving myself time to recollect and let go what God doesn’t want for me. Letting Jesus take full control and obviously life hasn’t been super amazing but He’s been constant and my Rock and another attractive thing is standing up for myself and not letting people be mean. Seeing a problem and doing something about it is hot.

Also, IDK if this counts as an answer, but going out and doing alot of cold approach to get better with girls has made a bigger impact than even career on my life.
