Happened at my school. We have 2 buildings, one with 2 gender neutral bathrooms, 1 boys and 1 girls room. In the main building they just made a male restroom gender neutral, yet the female bathroom nearby is not.

So disabled and females get to use 2 bathroom whilst the men 2.

Whilst disability counts both gender, non disabled men our being discriminated by this. I would report this to management and take the tape off. They either tape over the female in the other one or have no tape at all.

Out of curiosity - what *is* the general stance i this subreddit re; bathroom/changing room issues?
Should they be sex segregated, or should it all be open & gender neutral in your opinions & Why? Do you factor in trans people with your thoughts on this or not really?
(Genuinely just asking, not trying to push any narrative one way or the other just this is the first time I've seen a bathroom related thing come up here, and the comments so far seem to be very much in favour of un-gendered restrooms)

Sometimes this can be linked to zoning. Single use bathrooms end up gender neutral where multi stalls are not. Thing is they go by toilets and don't count urinals. So you will have a place with the womans room having 2 stalls and the mens room having a stall and a urinal or two. That room now becomes gender neutral.

Its still bullshit but its not always the places fault.

It's understandable if most of the customers and toilet users are women (which is usually true as women use the facilities more frequently).

In a restaurant I worked at the men's restrooms were much larger than the women's.
