In all seriousness though, what a trainwreck. I've seen his twitter stans coddling and congratulating him, because of course what a shitty man needs after doing a shitty thing is reassurance that he's a good guy. I feel worst of all for the baby. They're going to be born into a completely dysfunctional family unit for no fault of their own.

I really hope Anna's taking it okay. He made lots of jokes about how the two of them were steadfastly childfree, and I hope that she truly felt that way instead of being pressured by him. Five years from now she's going to be looking at whatever the fuck becomes of this mess and counting her blessings that she got out when she did.

and John has addiction issues... casually dating someone right out of rehab would be fine but this is huge

I always got a strange vibe from John. To most he came off as endearing, laid-back, and genuine. But I felt like he was not showing his true colors 100% of the time- he was lacking in authenticity despite his charming charismatic facade. In some of his interviews there was a cold disconnection within his demeanor- maybe a little bit too cold for a comedian who was supposedly warm and magnetic. I felt it would only be a matter of time before something darker came to the surface.

As for Olivia, to me she always carried an air of self-centeredness that caused her to lack self-awareness and consideration for others- much like Chrissy Teigan. She seemed to live for the "here and now." And we all know that pride comes before the fall.

This is so disgusting. His poor poor wife. I can’t even imagine the level of heartbreak and feeling of brokenness she’s experiencing atm.

What’s even worse about celebrity culture is they won’t be held accountable for actions like this. Everyone forgets eventually, but Anna will live with this pain forever, he broke her in her attempts to constantly build him up and help him. He cheated. Period.

The whole situation is awful for Anna but you know what? The divorce means she no longer has to deal with putting up with a man who derailed his life in the past year. She’ll heal for a year or two, then enter the dating world a whole decade wiser after dealing with his bs.
