I was banned from one the dating subs, and one of the relationship ones. One because I post here, and the other because I said someone was porn sick. Don't feel too bad. Most of the dating subs are just guys complaining how they cannot get dates, and how women have it so much easier. There are some people there who truly need help, but most of it is a circle-jerk of petty. I made an entire post here about it. You ain't missing out.

I like your original comment. Your description of intimacy sounds quite lovely and something to aspire to. There's definitely something to be said about waiting and getting to know someone before acting on physical desires. I think you did a lovely job of describing why you should wait. It's too easy to objectify someone when you don't know them and haven't gotten to a point where you care for the person yet.

i was banned from a feminism sub because i follow FDS. fucking ironic. what got me is i was commenting on a woman’s post about her winning a fight with cancer and going in remission, and i literally commented “so proud of you and so happy for you💛” and then got a message that i’m banned cause i follow FDS, i asked why me following FDS is an issue and their response was “because FDS is misandry and feminism is against misandry” made me very angry but whatever, more and more women are joining FDS every day, maybe a couple years from now people will get banned from r / feminism for NOT following FDS. 😌

I received an auto ban with no explanation from the main feminism sub. It might have been because of my activity here or it might have been because I follow some other subs that are the wrong kind of feminism.

Because you're only allowed to participate in feminist discussion if you centre men and support third wave ideas.

The relationship, dating and womens subs have always been awful.

When I had my first reddit account in the early days of the site these subs were obviously crawling with creeps, losers and men roleplaying as women.
