As Tinder is mainly seen as a 'hookup/casual' app, it stereotypically attracts thirsty men looking for quick and easy casual sex, most women catch on to this quickly, hence the largely skewed dating ratio on there.

But what if there was a dating app that was more traditional? What if the users were extensively vetted with full background checks, unpaid debt histories, convictions, (barring all criminals and bots and catfishers from using it) and all users have to have the specific intention of dating to marry and settle down with a family? Let's say you can select to only show people of the same religion, cultural background, education level, values (no drinking no drugs) or whatever you specifically are looking for.

If someone had a bad experience with someone from the app trying to get casual sex or enter into a casual relationship (regardless of gender), they could report them to the app (though they'd have to provide proof via message screenshots or something else concrete) leading them to being blacklisted.

Would you use such an app? Why or why not? Are there any specific features that would appeal to you?
