In my other thread about average mens expectations of their partners within LTR's (essentially outlining the fact that real normal day to day relationships are, like every other aspect of a normal average persons life, mundane most of the time and exciting some of the time and shit also some of the time) there was some backlash towards the idea that men WANT lust filled relationships, they want their partner to want to have sex with them most of the time, they want to be submitted to and not nagged and not treated in a way that normal average men and women treat eachother (most of the time as a stable, average, human they live with and function with and like, sometimes annoy, sometimes want to have sex with, sometimes are even repulsed and bored by, sometimes enamored and excited by)

It seems most men on here want to live and be treated remarkably by their partners without having to be remarkable.

My point in the other thread is from myself and my female friends, REAL life relationships are not full of lust and constant sex and desire because, MOST people are not that attractive or lust worthy. But thats OK because most people are in relationships and most people arent insanely attractive people that we want to have sex with all the time.

To be the kinda couple who is always in lust and always having sex like its the first month of a relationship YOU HAVE TO BE VERY ATTRACTIVE AND LUSTWORTHY.

Yeah, Im sure all my female friends would talk less about their partners not doing chores or joke about their snoring being annoying or how they argue from time to time if their partners looked like Chris Hemsworth, of course they would! But we women accept real life aint a fantasy.

Men want to be Hemsworth and all he gets without actually being Hemsworth, or in this case, the insanely hot guy.

For most of us average people, me included, relationships like that arent meant for us. We mature and accept normal and practical and mundane. Its not settling or beta buxing, its reality, its still a legitimate relationship and its still love, just with grounded practical qualities as opposed to 24/7 sex and worshipping your partner just for existing
