Male sexuality meaning - Generalized male heterosexual desires towards the female gender.

Firstly, I want to say that I do believe male sexuality is shamed. I believe that men are often labeled as uncontrollable, desiring exclusively sex, and seen as threats before we can prove ourselves. Take dress codes for example. When adjusting dress codes for girls to wear “less revealing clothes” so that the boys may be distracted, is in my eyes, a form of shaming. It’s labeling male attraction as so powerful that a guy can’t be in the same room as a girl with her chest out and not go bananas.

Another subtle form of male sexuality shaming is Virgin shaming. Though it doesn’t shame male attraction to women, it does shame men for not having reached a predetermined sexual goal that society set. You’re a man, you should be screwing (or at least wanting to) a lot of the girls around you. If you aren’t, your sexuality will be questioned, your sexual potential will be questioned, etc. It’s like society wants men to pursue women, but when women do something such as maybe wear something to get a guy’s attention, no no no, put that away, he can’t control himself.

That’s my perspective. What’s yours ?
