After my stbxw had her bf and his mom almost completely blow off first meeting with kids on Saturday, here is what I did on Sunday.

Bacon and pancake breakfast for kids. Then fix fence gate where I had to replace multiple boards and pieces of hardware.

Use new 11ft grabber pole to replace lights in garage ceiling (kids got a real kick out of helping with this and viewing me use the thing).

Took kids out for happy meals, then to Lowe's to get quickcrete to help anchor the swing set in our backyard that was getting loose, then groceries to get stuff for baking project with oldest later.

Did the concrete project, kids kinda helped/watched. Made nightmare before Xmas "bloody bone" breadsticks with pepperoni and Parmesan. Made honey corn muffins for other kiddo.

Did three loads of kid laundry.

Weed whacked backyard yard, seeded front yard.

Let oldest (10) take youngest (6) to local park on their scooters, kept in touch with oldest by phone while I stayed with special needs kiddo at home.

Then encouraged youngest to go play with the neighborhood kids outside.

Followed all by bedtime story, and bible story, and prayers.

Oh, and special needs kiddo slept all the way through the night too, so that is a win.
